I spent 2 weeks with my great grand daughter last August. The plan was to go panning. Day 150 of rain, the clouds cleared, we drove like hell to the Peace River, at Dunvegan. (Alberta side) Panned like hell. Got specks, but got gold!! Got drowned by more rain. She kept singing Jesse Roper's song, "Little Gold Nugget"!! Best Summer of my life, yet!! She's hooked and I'm freaken thrilled!! I have a partner!! She loved ALL your videos!! All the best, Pauly!! Thanks for helping me stay focused in the depths of Winter!! Happy days in 2020!! Cheers!!

Great video...we love to dredge and also the exact opposite and go drywashing. Just did a couple weeks in Alaska dredging.

Lost keys? Memories of this summer on a creek with Pauly and Amy. Amy noticed on the walk out that she no longer had the keys to the the rented Mustang. My panic could have been a video. Pauly and I went back and checked everywhere to no avail. It was starting to get dark in the forest as we walked back to Amy. Pauly was the hero. He found the black fob just off the trail about 20 yards beyond where Amy had stopped. Whoo-hoo! That was better than finding a big nugget...almost.

I like seeing these sort of videos because they're realistic. Social media is so carefully curated, it's difficult to understand or know what's "real" anymore.
Absolutely agreed! And with everyone projecting their fake and exaggerated image just to show that they're "perfect" too, it leads to many others feeling depressed but posting the same sort of content. I Haven't looked back since I deleted my Facebook over a year ago, and I refuse to get an Instagram because they also own it too. Snapchat and UA-cam are all I use, and I mostly watch this kinda hobby or diy project videos, and just stay in touch with people on snap. Facebook (and also other social media) in its current form is causing a lot of harm to many individuals and to human society as a whole.

I get that it's tough for you when you don't find as much gold it's not as much content for you, but i think it's beneficial for those who are interested in trying to pan for gold , that they see some of the realistic aspects of finding gold, as i am sure you find nothing more than you find gold.

Love your videos. Great job. One comment though. I believe I saw a trash pump two or three times. May I make a suggestion. A trash pump works great on a high banker. But on a suction dredge a centrifuge pump will give you more suction. Maybe that’s why the gold sucker up was minimal.

It doesn't bother me if you don't find much gold in a video.
Love to see the process, and it's always nice to see your smile and hear your jokes.
And it's also the reality: you don't find huge nuggets each day. So people can see it's not always about the big pieces of candy. Sometimes they're not tea bag, or there's nothing at all. It's all part of a prospectors life.
And I love seeing every part of it.

When I was a scout leader , 99 percent of mushrooms are poisonous ☠️, but the best way is to look under the mushrooms and if they have the gills don’t eat them...

You definitely are one of the faster Learners of all that youngsters making videos about mining.
I could have gave you about 25 really good tips that would have saved you a lot of time in the future I guess that's what is Old-Timers are for.
I bet you can almost realize you can kick that dredges ass sniping.
Obviously it wasn't working very good the way you had it set up.
And basically if you have it running right that dredge it's for basically cleaning out cracks.
The way you had it running I don't think it would pick the Nuggets up off the Bedrock even if they were exposed.
And next to impossible to shovel out a wet hole.
You want all that water flowing through the whole dredge so when your nozzle goes down to the Bedrock it's like sucking to the bedrock in the whole dredge will jump.
Well there's so many things that are easy to straighten out .
With a little old timer's knowledge.
Water hydraulics and math.
Nice to see your sniping skills are improving..

Pauly, I usually find it easier to carry 2 buckrets at a time because they balance you out. You can stand more upright so it is less stress on your back.

More often than not I find very little gold at my claim. I’ve definitely not paid for the claim nor the tools. But it’s still fun to get out with my kids and try. This video isn’t a waste at all bud. It’s a true reflection of how hard gold is to find.
