Watching this video, it feels like the last 8 years have flown by. I remember the first time I saw the next step advertised on CBBC and me and my sister were so excited to watch it. I remember waking up on a Saturday early to make sure I didn’t miss an episode. I remember when the next step first went to regionals and winning. Season 2 has always been my favourite season, the drama, the characters, the dancing. Season 3 was great again, I loved watching the elite and TNS merge and to see lucien finally get what he deserved! Of course the jiley duet at the end was also so emotional. Season 4 and 5 had so many new characters and was quite hard to get used to at first, but as it went on it was amazing to watch them grow too and really enjoyed having different dynamics on the team. The dancing has always been the best parts, I love how much diversity of dance styles the teams always had. Season 6 was incredible aswell (probably my second fave season), it was so emotional to see noah go at the end though, watching him grow up since J Troupe has been amazing. Now at season 7 it is crazy to think how far the characters have all come, watching emily possibly become co owner is crazy. Thinking back to season 1 when she was a massive diva and was so horrible to Michelle, to watch a character grow up has been so remarkable and to watch her and Michelle’s journey together has been so beautiful. I have been dancing since I was 2 and my mum was a professional dancer. But having this show made me love dance even more. Idk what I would do without dance and I am grateful that this show contributed to my love of dance. Seeing the characters grow and develop has been such a blessing. I remember when tns hit the 100th episode, I can’t believe how much has changed for me since then. Looking back at all the this time is like looking back at my childhood. When I saw it live I was in awe, the teamwork and talent these actors have, I have loved getting to know not only the characters but the actors too. For example, Briar! The struggles she have overcome is so inspiring and watching her on world of dance was magical (definitely thought she should’ve won!) I am forever grateful for this show and the passion it has brought me. Thank u for everyone who as ever been apart of it for making it so special 💕💕💕

This just hit me with a wave if nostalgia, seeing all my favourite character grow up as I did. From season one to now my life has changed so much but the next step stayed constant. 200 episodes is crazyyy...I'm so proud of the cast! I would never of thought in 2013 after watching season 1 that it would turn into this :)

Growing up, i watched tns every day. Watching zhis actually made me tear up because of these mixed emotions of happiness, excitement, nostalgia and sadness. I still remember every single season because it was so good. I just wanted to thank you for not only reviving my inner child but also for making me remember how special thos series has been for me. Seeing this just made me remember all these funny, exiting and sad moments throughout this amazing series.❤

I remember being 4 years old watching the first episode of the next Step with my 13 year old sister. We would both get back from school and watch it together! Now I’m 11 and my sister is 20 and we still watch episodes of The Next Step together to this day. Love The Next Step been watching it for as long as I can remember so this got me emotional :D
