I have had the same issue.....gun not going into full battery.....it did not do this at a match today......I have about 400 rounds through it......maybe it need to be shot in? If it continues I will contact century arms to see what they have to say.
As an owner of both..... I have to agree..... a Glock will chew any and everything.... full transparency, I’ve only shot 115 out my caniks with no problem in 2+ years...... maybe I need to test some other ammo... great video bro.... eye opener.
Thanks for watching! I believe we found the problem with the Canik. The main issue is the striker spring is to strong causing it to have very little recoil spring tension for the first 1/4 inch. As it chambers the next round the heavy recoil spring is keeping it from cycling hard enough and the over powering striker spring it slowing it from reaching full battery sometimes. You can probably see when if fails and you squeeze the trigger the slide will go forward all the way. With the gun cocked I can shake it in and out of battery shaking it back and forth in my hand. If I dry fire and and release that striker spring tension the side has no movement. Canik took 5 days to get back to me with not much answers. I will update when they decide to send out new springs. They only wanted to send out a lighter recoil spring and that would make it worse.
@@Ctstuntpromo I gotta tell you, now I need to go ahead and grab some different ammo and run mine. I carry the elite SC daily with critical defense ammo.... I’ve only ran probably 75-100 rounds... but never anything else. Gonna run the same grains you ran and see and if I have any fails, I’m definitely reaching out to century arms/canik with the documented (video) results.... replacement springs may be the fix but that’s for people that complain.... it doesn’t fix the problem..... like you said...... Glock eats everything..... emulate that and you have a game changer
Not all of them have the spring issue. I believe it’s probably some bad springs in some of them. It took a call to Sprinco springs to get some real answers. He explained how the striker spring was causing most of the issues. So last night I went home dry fired it shook it and it was tight as my Glock. The problem is so much tension resetting the striker. I just got a turd lol. I believe this will be a great gun soon as the springs are swapped.

I have the SFX, SC, COMBAT N the Mete SFT. Had the same issue only with my SC, got a new spring and never had issues again. I think Caniks quality control has gotten better but obviously some turds still fall threw cracks.
Proper maintenance is key to having a reliable firearm
I have the TP9DA, TP9SFx, and METE SFx, and they run great. Eat everything I give to them, and I find them to be fast, accurate and consistent.
So far so good with mine 🤷♂️ have shot 115, 124 +p 147 and aluminum 115 weak turd blazer

Exc. shooting ! I have Canik SF and SFX, I never had any issue at all. Both of them are exc. guns.
I'm guessing no lube, and the gun was buit to nato spec - 124 nato

250 through the sfx so far zero malfunction all 115 grain blazer . not really alot but seen people have problem with 115grs

You replaced the Striker spring?
The striker spring fix it for me. It definitely doesn’t affect all guns. I made another video about the fix.
