I have heard the expression "Trailer Park" in America. They would be similar I suppose, but the ones I have seen on TV look scruffy, whereas the ones in UK are usually very posh. The one we lived on was somewhere in between.
What an amazing job David has done, some skill there as it looked like major structural work as well as general renovations. Must be a clever chap. I like watching Homes Under the Hammer sometimes, just to see the before and after pictures! I enjoy seeing an unloved home or property restored into a lovely home again. May see you tomorrow, bye!!!
David is a master craftsman and very hard working. He is 62 now and still working full time on building sites. I don't know how he does it.

Another lovely chat David has certainly done a lot of hard work to the house but it looks amazing now people can’t afford going out to pubs as much now especially coming into winter and fuel price rises take care guys 💕
I wonder if it's the same with restaurants.
Most probably I am still touring and even campsites that used to be full aren’t now x
Do you live in your van?
Are the sites quiet because of the time of year, or quieter than they used to be at this time of year.
I have noticed more motorhomes coming up for sale on Facebook lately.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun no I don’t live in my van but spend extended time away from home travelled Scotland for three months and spend one week at home one week away I found even over summer sites were quieter than usual I just think there is not as much spare money about I think you are right there does seem a lot of motorhomes for sale even one two year old ones with no mileage was this lockdown and people brought but it’s not for them it does seem cheaper to go abroad for a couple of weeks as opposed to site fees and up keep of the motorhome 💕
We were at the Wetherby Whaler fish & chips restaurant on Friday evening in Pudsey, and it was rammed, so people are still eating out here.
I think the motorhome/caravan industry is experiencing a downturn now though. It was just getting ridiculously expensive.

Thanks Barry. The wall has had a bow in it for a long time. I had a glass plate inserted in a wall during the 70s to see if it cracked, but it didn't.

I had a customer who wouldn't allow any photos in her house, she never took any and she wouldn't allow anyone to take one of her. She was afraid of the passage of time.

I know on the haven holiday homes they have to replace the statics every 10 years, that put me off bieng an owner of one on there site. Also they close end of Octoberfor a few months, this year they are opening 3 weeks over Christmas
Ten years is not long at all Jackie. Personally I have never known how people can own and run a house and also a static as well where ground rents are anything from £3000 to £5000 a year.
I love Pats top, its beautiful. I notice we watch a couple of the same channels Emi and Chrome, do you watch Matthew ( VanlifePLUS) hes funny, hes a single Dad and looks after his daughter Brooklyn every so often she's 4 I think. Matthew has some funny sayings which I have picked up one as I have watched him so long. Like "Some peoples kids". 😊. Xx

Ah, this house is 200 years old and stone built. It's hard to say whether it has a cavity. David said it is a double skin wall, but in them days they used to allow rubble to fall into the cavity.
Almost ashamed to admit this, but up until you moved back with Tracy (after the accident) I had thought David was her husband. I don't think I've missed a video (call me a die-hard/hard core LOL). I think I must be older then I feel/am. "OldTimers" my daughter calls it.
David and Tracey are married.
