Hey, so I have an H3 as well and love it! Got a tip for you to make the back seats fold better. Pull up and forward on the bottom part of the seat and then fold the back of the seat down. Hope you like it even more now!
Yes seats do fold up for the back. Love my H3 and had a used engine with 90K put in and runs great. Did lights, handles, evap system and a host of other things. I use both a cell and tablet (covered over the radio) so my media is quite current. Completes with anything in the $50K range and best, I own the thing.
For those front pillars that are faded around on the windshield just take a heatgun to it and it'll bring the black color back to it. Also if you choose to keep it it'll run for a long time I'm on 245,000 miles on my 07 h3 and the engine still runs strong
I have a 2006 and absolutely love it and it's yellow ! I did the pillar trick with the heat gun , easy peasy, you're actually melting the palstic so take care , but it works great!
Cerakote is something that everyone should try for the typical fade on front pillars. Amazing product and easy to use and yes I tried heat gun but wasn’t satisfied
Those front pillars can be brought back to life with a product called cerakote👍. I tried everything to bring mine back to life and hands down was amazed how great the product worked and lasted. Enjoy the Hummer I know I have:). Owned mine for the last 5 years and has been great
That storage in the back I never knew about also never knew where the jack was. I had mine soon as it rolled of the truck happen to be at the dealership when I saw it 👀. Glad to hear you love it. Il never part. We been together 16 years now. I have a playlist of it if yiu like to see. I get a lot of negativity about it. But I can’t even compare to anything I’d rather have. Other than the new electric one. But it looks like it won’t fit in my garage. Great sharing new friend 👍
I've got a 06 H3 and my plastic pillars were Grey like yours from the weather what you do to get them brand new black is get a heat gun and carefully go over them use a heat shield while your doing it so you don't melt anything else like seals and such, but they turn out like new...
2006 h3 luxury 5 cylinder almost 200000 miles and running good. I had a Colorado with same engine 5 cylinder with 355000 miles and sold it running good
Have both an H2 and a H3. H3 has 265,000 miles, had to replace the engine at 220,000 due to local gas station putting diesel in gas pump and destroying the engine, and sadly I think the front pump in the trans is going out, so we'll be looking at putting another transmission in it soon. H2 has 215,000 miles and running strong
I’ve watched another video and that back seat does fold flatter. You have to do something with the bottom of the seat first. And then the top part will fold flatter but it’s still not going to be completely flat.
Hi Tim, you got my attention on the back seat part. Can you double check something for me? Look at the front of your lower back seat and there should be a black handle. If there isn't any I learned something today hehe If there is, pull on it and the lower part of the seat will lift and you'll be able to spin it. This will let you lower your back seat flat. Cheers!
@@TheWarehouseSeries wasnt really an heads up. I was actually curious hahah I know GM can remove some options over the year or modify accessories from a year to the other. So I was curious to see if the 2007 and up were actual like that.
Your front plastic trim around the windshield it turns Gray they say you can take a heat gun and take them off heat it up I found the easiest way to fix that is buy you some black shoe leather dye it actually is a die I use it on the leather seats and it's held up real good so I decided to put on that black plastic trim it makes it look like it's a brand new piece of trim it took me about 3 minutes to fix both sides real easy and it stays on the it actually dies that black plastic back black again now it might have to be done once a year to keep it looking like that like I said it's very easy and it was a two dollars and 50 cent bottle what looks like black shoe polish but it's actually a black die for leather
Its over 15 years old, but I still want one. Locally $15000 in Seattle now, but I found one for $7000 for 150k miles. Not sure if its worth selling my 1997 tahoe for yet
I've read they can get high mileage. It was just hard to find one that wasn't beat on. The later time gets It's going go be near impossible to find one with under 100,000 miles
My Tahoe is a 1500, and the Hummer H2 is a Chevy 2500 chassis. Same engine as the Tahoe/Suburban/K1500. The H3 is a Chevy Colorado, rebodied. I believe it has the same engine as Colorado too. I don't have much experience with that engine or platform, but it seems comparable to an Exterra, or comparable competitor
Your dull plastics will come back to life if you use Maguires tire shine and wipe off remaining liquid just like armore all, mine was very dull looks like new
I love this video! I had a 2006 “yellow” H3 and it was the best vehicle I ever owned! I sold it in 2013 and have regretted it ever since. Now I’m looking at a “Green” 2006 H3 that looks really clean and has 169,000 miles on it. The seller wants $8500 for it. Do you think that’s a good deal?
@@TheWarehouseSeries I was thinking the same thing. I just didn’t know if there was that big of a difference between the 3.5L & 3.7L in the later models. I had no problem with my old 3.5L on my yellow H3 but wasn’t sure if it would stand the test of time.

Buy the clips. They are great. “hummer cargo net clips” 2006 h3 Sense 2007. Best ride I have ever had. Good driving.

Same here 200110
Sometimes I'm not sure why I say what I say. But my sunroof is a 1 touch close you just have to hold for a second to close.
Thule Spare Me Pro Bike rack will work with their long mounting bracket. Great looking H3.

Thanks looking to buy one

I just got H3 and like he said it nice very nice 👍😁
The sunroof isn’t one touch to close because it is a safety feature. So no one gets squished if the button is accidentally bumped.

My nephew has one, beats the crap out of it

Great video thanks for sharing
I’m buying a h3 was Gona buy h2 but this one came with warranty it seems nice
Getting a warranty is a nice bonus
I love my 2009 H3, I call it a F.I.G. (fit's in garage ) lol.... H2 won't. Enjoy your New Ride , there Great ! ! !
My personal opinion is keep it. These H3’s will not lose there value going forward even if everything goes electric.

It's not hard to control but it definitely shakes. One really bad windy day I was close to pulling over

Did you have problems with 4x4
I have not. I'm taking it you did? If so what should I look for
