I am so excited to be going to Spain NEXT WEEK for the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championships 2023.

I'm finding this just now, and I'm honestly impressed how right you were with your practicing! Your guesses for several of the puzzles were spot on!
I really think you are ready for the WJSPC. So much fun to go to such an event.
I puzzled at the Swedish championship this year for the first time and will definitely not be the last time.
I am also looking forward to seeing you all at the livestream. Feels like I know so many of you just by watching your videos. 😮

I tap the puzzle pieces when I put them in too LOL. My mother used to tap them with added drama/flourish and sometimes I do too just because it reminds me of her :). I hadn't thought about the affect that might have for speed puzzling.
Ha ha! I too have been known to flourish after the tap 😆 I just wasn’t aware I was doing it while I speed puzzled!! 🤔

Here, I especially loved your analysis for the Pisa puzzle (quadruple tapping of pieces, hectic vs. calm approach,...). Btw, I film all my videos real time (it is a mental struggle to watch them!) and only for videos I timelapse the footage.
New York Postcard seems a little bit more difficult than London Postcard - both seem to be well suited for both full sort and full flip.

Good Luck! I am not conscious of it, but I bet I tap, tap, tap the pieces as well. Even when I am puzzling for fun, I think I unnecessarily push the pieces around and don't look at them as carefully as I should when I get to the difficult parts. A long way of saying, I appreciate your insights from the Pisa puzzle. Good luck again!
You inspired me to buy ocean circle puzzle. Hope it isn’t too hot in Spain!
If I ever get into speed puzzling and go to Worlds, I'll check to see which puzzles you practice and get some of those.
🤣 lol. Trust me, I don’t have any kind of psychic ability or anything. I just went looking for 500 piece puzzles and picked a bunch I liked. My group E individual puzzle wasn’t one i’d seen before, but admittedly many of the puzzles I practiced on did come up. However, believe it or not, it was pure chance 😍
Those harder puzzles that took you longer are the type that may turn up in the Pairs Preliminary round so it is good you tackled them as well. I am planning to watch as much of the live streams as I can and will be rooting for all the World Pieces members. Good luck and have fun in Spain.

Pisa Tower IS a difficult puzzle, your time is super compared to „normal“ people 😅 like me.
Yes, I didn’t find it easy at all! Thank you - I’ve practised it a couple more times since, I need to get used to doing scenery style speed puzzles 😍
