I have a trip to England planned for next summer and I’m going to ho to Holmfirth and see all the beautiful locations from that show. I agree,,, they just don't make this great stuff anymore.. it was awsome, I liked watching it as a kid, but as an adult I just absolutely love it.. It makes me laugh so much. These three remind me to Mariza, Vicenta and Concha from the Spanish sitcom Aquí no hay quien viva, similar humor and witty characters... crazy nonetheless.
Yes, she loved the chase and attention, but didnt wanna show it.. but was showing it in her own subtle ways. I loved compos determination to keep impressing her & do what he could to get a magical moment of his arms around her. 😄🥰❤😄

Nora playing hard to get with compo added to the humour & excitement, & kept the storyline going. Nora's body language showed she was subtley enjoying the attention & the chase, which compo sees, & that keeps him enthusiastic to keep chasing her. As for Howard & Marina, it's a funny story in itself that keeps the a storyline going too. Howard wanting a bit of love - affection - recognition & out door adventure, but married to Pearl, who is a tough cookie, a bit stern & on to his mischief. She's more of an indoorsy kinda person. He still loves her but can't resist some adventure. Despite Howard's mischief, Pearl still shows very subtlety that she cares for her husband. His mischief gives her something to talk about with the other ladies. Makes me laugh. 😁😆 Pearls seriousness is quite funny in itself. 😄 never got her when I was a kid, but as an adult I can see she plays a good part too. 😁
