For ANY stationary or slow guardian, USE THE SHIELD WITH A AND DEFLECT THE BEAMS. Have a shield at the ready and get fairly close, then hit A once you hear the Guardian beep before shooting it's laser. Works like a charm.

Kind of old now but I just started, completely wiped central hyrule with just an ancient shield.
And you can practice parrying on npcs with weapons like the gerudo guards
It's extremely risky.. I reccomend crippling the Guardians with the master sword if you can get close.
@ONI While I can usually get it, and have found the timing on the beep or flash is a good indicator (at least at the distance I usually am) i get it about %80 of the time. That means I usually loose a shield once every 2 or 3 walking guardians (as they take 3 perfect timed parries).
actual easiest way is to drop down the hole right in front of the shrine on lomei labyrinth island. there are like, 50 broken guardians down there and only a few activate when you are close to them. every blood moon it's tons of free ancient parts just laying around. even if you make ancient arrows to kill the ones that activate, you come out way ahead. just build a fire down there and keep waiting for blood moons and you will have more parts than you know what to do with

or if you have some ancient arrows kill some guardians cause they drop lots of things, the rarest drop is two giant cores and the most common is lots of springs and gears and if you are lucky then there's a few shafts

In the beginning of the game and even in the middle, I was so scared of golden lynels I would run away when I see one. Now I use them to get strong weapons and star fragments.
You don't even need any fancy strategy to kill a Hinox either. Just have a good weapon, Attack or defence armor on, I prefer attack, and stack that with another attack potion or meal, and avoid their butt crusher move, and just go for the legs.

9:09 I actually used stasis on the ball and smacked it as far as I could in the correct direction, then made my way to it with ice pillars and found the ball like almost right next to the hole thingy

Kill the mobile ones with the master sword.
Kill the stalker ones with the master sword.
Kill the sky watchers with ancient arrows.
Don't waste your ancient arrows on mobiles and stalkers.
Also stock up on Ancient Bows.
Or just use a pot lid for all of them

Quick tip for ya +Verlisify, if you can manage to take down the Lynel either for the Zora mission, or the random one that hangs out in the coliseum ruins south-southwest from the Central Tower and the Kaam Ya'tak Shrine, you'll be able to loot a Lynel Bow, that shoots 3 arrows in a tight horizontal spread for the cost of one arrow, which makes bodyshoting the Guardian Stalkers a much easier prospect. Also makes it more forgiving if youre going for crits.
Also one more tip, pick up hard on parrys. The Stationary Guardians can be killed with a single shield reflected laser. The farther you are from it, the easier it gets to time it, just be ready to parry when you see the blue streams charging.
Jonathan Stevens In my opinion it's easier close to it since you have to judge how much time it will take the laser to hit you while if your up close the second his eye flashes blue you perry.
The idea is risky. No hate, but every time i try to deflect the beam, i go early and die. So no hate buf if u have NOT matered parrying, i suggest u go with anciant arrows
raphael mork You can use the hylian shield cuz if you don't deflect it will auto deflect anywhere in the arena or if your hylian shield break go buy the house in hateno village and talk to Hudson and do the from the ground up side quest

Verlisify Someone else also pointed out the woodland bow(?) in the Korok Forest has Tripleshot on it as well, and will most likely be easier to get then fighting Lynels.
Once u get the master sword, u can cut of all their legs and watch them lay helplessly as u beat the shit out of 'em >:)

actually for lighting the blue flames. there's a path below. light one of your arrows on fire and shoot down towards the lanterns in order to avoid all monsters. I think I ended up only having to light 4 before I was able to run up the hill with a torch
Extra Apple I did that too saved alot of time instead of fighting all those moblins and bokoblins.
Important note if it hasn't been covered in the comments already: Upgrade your stasis rune as soon as possible. It is perfect for holding the guardians still for a second or two in order to line up a shot! Also, when you have some more durable weapons, you can get extra item drops by cutting the legs off of walking guardians.

I DO RECOMMAND ANCIENT WEAPONS, they are the most powerfull weapons in the game and the 1 sword version have insane durability.
They have a COLOSSAL power boost from the armor set and deal even MORE when eating food that boost your attack (double damage bonus)

JAG UFE Master Sword is only useful in dungeons and 30 damage isn't really that big of a deal especially if you get the sword late game.
it doubles its power when near any calamity or guardians. also the hylian shield can tank almost 40 guardian shots before breaking and after you get it, it takes 3,000 rupees to get a new one.

You forgot to mention something very important. Regardless of how good your bow is, the ancient arrow will always two shot a guardian. That means that the duplex bow can fire that value shot for an instant kill regardless of where you hit the guardian. Guardians have an AI where they will try to avoid your arrows.
Best way to farm rupees is by farming dragon horns.

Don't sell Luminous Stones:
In Zora's Domain there is a zora named Ledo that will Trade you a Diamond for 10 Luminous stones... Luminous stones are used to get the Radiant armour in Gerudo town

Only useful if you want to repair weapons.
Diamonds are useful for more than just weapon repair. There are plenty of opportunities in the game to sell gems. 200 rupees in this game is nothing. Youll have tens of thousands after enough play. Personally before I could afford ancient armor I got a diamond headband to protect me from guardian damage. Upgrading it costs diamonds but it afforded me a 18 defense triple upgraded diamond circlet(headband) that turned out to be the strongest armor piece I had for the whole first half to two-thirds of the game.
Charleszard X well if u want rupees then that zora is a rip off Cuz 10 luminous Stones are 700 rupees and a Diamond is 500. Yep he tips u off! Except the first time when he gives u two Diamond but after Nope. He scams you XD

Flock shootin kinda works, but your aim improves with practice.
With lynel bows you still need vertical aim and that's where most of the missed long range shots happen. But I haven't tried to look if the three arrows can one-shot stalkers on the body or have a split effect so the good thing about that bow may be there.
Y’know what I hate? When I’m farming for ancient cores, and I see that yellow glow, and then it’s a giant ancient core.
In hyrule castle, the stationary guardians on the wall things are just upside down flying guardians. You can also get better drops from them, there are also a lot of flying guardians in hyrule castle.
On guardians that still have their legs you can destroy the legs for extra
guardian parts also in hyrule castle their are these tower and on top there is a chest some times can hold 3 anchient arrow there are multiple of these towers in hyrule castle but they do not respawn with a blood moon
For stationary guardians the master sword is great, I believe it lights up because the guardians are controlled by ganon. Hit them once with an arrow, and then just run up and spam the master sword till they die. If you get close enough to them before they target you, you can even get away with no arrows and just using the master sword.
If you notice the bundle of 5 Ancient arrows cost less than buying 5 separately

This game has a lot of classic game references too , almost every location has a reference in its name
You can paraglide onto a walking or stationery guardian and land on its head it can't shoot you then you can hop down users spinning attack with a two handed sword around the guardian(you will need a little extra stamina) to chop off its legs and then release and you'll hit the ground hard and the shockwaves may kill it depending on how much you damaged it up top. If not just finish it off and collect the loot ,the legs drop stuff too so pick that up as well. Hope this is useful.

You learn to parry and it's all you'll need and they're layin everywhere.
I put mine on every time I start the game.
The easiest way to kill walking guardians is to use stasis to get close and cut off each of their legs one by one. If you cut them off close to the body you'll both inflict damage and keep them stunned, preventing them from shooting or running. This also gives bonus parts. It can break a lot of swords but **spoilers** if you have the master sword it is very effective. Tarrey town has 40 arrows in one go
With the mobile guardians just cut the legs off with the master sword and hit the underside of it.
I’ve found a really great method of getting arrows is just killing lizalfos on the path leading to zoras domain and you get anywhere from 5-10 arrows per kill

grab a pot lid from a stable, find guardians, wait wen their eye light up, parry their laser, lasted me through 3-4 guardians.
I like to use the master sword and go no mercy on them. It really boosts your confidence in my opinon

with that swirly shring where you carry the ball through, its quite a bit more simple than it sounds, the water is pretty shallow
with that freeze and stasis it really does save alot of heat ache,
uses stasis to launch the ball across the water in that spiral trial
Either Stasis OR Cryonis can work really well.
If it lands in the water, use cryonis and either stasis again or just throw it.
Did that on my first try. Reaches about half way in between, or maybe I did it wrong
If you are kinda bad at parrying, you should also get the ancient shield because it just deflects guardian lasers for you

one thing I would like to mention is that behind the akkala lab there are a LOT of dead guardians. also stasis the mobile ones once you get close and then destroy their legs.
you havnt tried bowling under Hebra Tower for rupees yet?
The maze in the Akkala sea also has some guardians. Especially in the basement after you do the shrine there. Lots of dead ones in there to loot. Just be careful as when you loot the chest, 4 come to life and lock on to you from different angles.

you can unlock the Akkala tower pretty much right after you get the glider. I unlocked it yesterday and I've only done the main quest up to where you're sent to visit this tech lab guy. You just can't get hit by anything. Some creative climbing and bombing the bokoblins down into the pink goo let me get to a position that I could jump from a crumbling wall onto the tower.
I also grind the shrine Guardian Scouts.
if you do certain shrines, you can get cores and maybe giant ones too. my brother got 4 cores from shrines and 1 giant core from one too.

Heck use the stasis rune and it makes guardian fightings easier. At least the ground based ones. I can’t remember if it’s the upgraded rune is the only one that works on enemies or both. Makes it taking the legs off them suckers too. Makes it nice and easy to get up and close too
If you suck at guardians, just get the amiibo. You can get an ancient core every now and then. Or reload and reload until you get it. Or forward your clock. Or just wait.
Kanon Pedersen it's really not worth spending money on the amount just because you aren't good at farming guardians... there's better alternatives.

Getting the moblin and bokoglin masks make that spiral giant core a walk in the park by just walking past everything and occasionally killing the lizals.
If you upgrade the ancient armour 4 times they become 28 defense each

Yes, the only things that never break are the master sword (but it runs out of power) and the bow of light (which can only be used in final boss fight). The hylian shield has extremely high durability but still breaks.

They only restock if you have less than 50 of a type of arrow. It's worth noting that after you have less than 50 of the arrow, all shops will restock said arrow.

Deanna Hinton Um, no? It is a much faster and productive way of earning rupees. I have tested both ways and it is on every way surperior.

You can also go Farosh horn farming which sells for 300 rupees and you can get 3per minute

The parry tactic takes a lot of practice, and the ancient arrows are much easier especially if you have stasis+. If you can parry efficiently, though, by all means do it.
Peter O'Malley I still find aiming bows and casting stasis during combat quite hard as I'm not used to aiming with a joystick, the good thing of parrying is that you just need good timing and not being experienced with the controls
at the north west of the akkala tech lab its a shrine that have a big puzzle before u can get to it once you do it there will be a some air that come from a vent infront the shrine if u drop down there are 6 of them alive and a tresure site to farm ancient parts

I kind of discovered that 'far' side of Tarry Town from shooting guardians at the Akala Tower. There's a bunch of stuff in that field and shore.
There are also 3 flying guardians at the spring of power in Akkala. Another really fast way to make some big rupies: the snow bowling game near the Hebra tower. There are several videos here on youtube showing you the best spot from where to roll the ball, which pretty much guaranties you winning 300 rupies every game (you have to pay 20 rupies to play one game). With that method you'll get tons of rupies in a very short amount of time (about 13000 in half an hour give or take a few rupies).
