I love Jind’s logic of “I like knights because it makes the games a lot shorter so I can spend more time with my kids” lmao
True story Dylan! I am saving time on:
1) Packing up the army to take for a game, it's literally 2 foam trays and a bag!
2) I save time on deployment (6-10 models vs 50 or more!)
3) Turns go quicker as again just a few models to run
4) Easy to pack away
5) Easy to unload at home!
I must save at least 2-3 hours per game day vs my Guard or Marines!

Tonite on POT Gear: Jind turns into a Titan and stamps on a lego factory which is described as ''the worst pain''. Mubin activates some void shields which is all well and good until he realises that it some of the knights crew is outside of the knight doing repairs which fries them to a crisp and Nick is probably exploding something again. I don't know, we have to keep him amused.

It's been great watching Mubin grow more comfortable on camera. His early appearances had a nervous energy and touch of overacting that has calmed into a really charming presenter.

Yeeessss, more knight action! I've just about finished making my Knight Abominant and then its on to the wardogs. So I'm excited to see a game like this to get some ideas on army list and upgrades! Plus just strategy period!

The battle of the steves has to be a thing.
First time watching this, only started playing knights this year (2024) I was so confused what they were talking about most of this game. Looking into the description I figured out it's 2022, and therefore 9th instead of 10th. A great watch for me.
I've been loving playing my chaos knights lately. The book is so good (in my opinion) and is pretty well balanced compared to other books. Ya your only real house choices are Herpetrax or Vetrix, but you can generally do pretty good against most armies. Sure Tau seems to have knights number but every army is bad against someone.

Biscuits are life - thanks Nicholas - honestly while it may seem I was getting stomped honestly I still had a chance that one turn - if ONLY I could have killed Mubin in combat OR rolled a 6 on one of the 2D6 to explode - I had him!

Great content, guys! Always fun to watch #40kin40min. The only thing I found myself questioning was the attempt to shrug off mortals from daemonic surge for Chaos knight. I thought the description of it expressly forbids it.
Taint! Tainted love! Honestly I don't play against Chaos Knights enough but that's a good one to look in to - pretty sure he played it right, but 40k these days is very rules heavy!
Blasphemous Engine actually only prevents Mortal Wounds from Daemonic Surge

Love Play on Tabletop and can always count on a great video. With that said, I personally would be more interested in seeing a knight list vs a more mainstream army than another knight list, as despite enjoying them both, it does still feel a little too close in army makeup for my own preference.
What army Vs the Knights out of interest would you say would make for an exciting match?!
@@Waaagghhh Oh man, with all the options it's hard to choose a single one! For my money, I think that a battle of Imperial Knights vs a Chaos Space Marines army of any legion could be super fun, and I always have a good time watching Orks (Though maybe the morale effects of Dread would be a bit weighted against Chaos knights). A similarly elite army like Custodes also seems very cool conceptually, though I haven't played with them enough to know whether it would present any balance problems.

The embarrassing part was post-match, days after, I realized I had played a few rules wrong or not used some abilities - as I don't play Freeblades - I only play Admech Knights as a rule!

Never say never! I always suggest other sources such as Facebook Market, local buy and sell groups, etc, as quite often you can make a fantastic start into the hobby at very small investments of cash monies!
I was gonna go imperial knights but the chaos knights just look so chaotic and I can just go nuts on the paint job

We do actually film in 4K. But use the extra bandwith to edit the 1080 video better. Majority of people watch on a phone surprisingly.
@@PlayOnTabletop maybe you guys could do some short videos, like the army showcase but maybe without the interview part, and just get the pretty glamour shots cut together in some crisp 4K sometime. I know I'd love to see all the channels armies like that.
