From memory the Imps all had a common problem.
The accelerator cable snapping.

I have not heard about that, and never experienced it either. May be an issue on a single carb version though.

Had a 998ccwills ringed imo front rad was a hoot to drive but rolled it into a telegraph pole - car dead
