The reason i'm such a pessimist now is because of how different people started treating me after I lost weight. I was a chunky kid in primary school through to adulthood and it wasn't until my 20s that i started hitting the gym. It's so disheartening to see how much of a difference there is. People approach you and are more accpeting and less standoffish. I can't help but question whether or not people are only this nice to me bc i'm not fat anymore. This song is so relatable to how I've felt in the past. Would've helped in high school but I'm glad it's out now for other girls and guys. I just hope it doesn't deter them from being healthy.
