I remember buying a very nice and expensive dagger by Spartan blades. Edges were dull Dull DULL! RMJ in comparison does it right.

I love the design until you get at the base of the edges where they aren’t sharpened, and the transition from there to sharpened edge is goofy! It’s does seem that the blade is symmetrical as I’ve had a few daggers that weren’t.

A dagger made from a super-steel is a waste of money. You're not going to use it for utility tasks. 1095 or 420 is fine for something you'll probably never use for its intended purpose.
