16:21 HUGE THANKS to the emergency responders that rescued me from these mudslides! I was trapped in between that big slide westbound and the eastbound ones. Once we were down the ladder we all heard a loud "tsunami"-like crash sound from above where our cars were and the firemen where screaming "RUN!!" so we all booked it down the train tracks running for our lives thinking that we were about to get flushed out down there from the road above us! I can see now in this video that the mud slide did end up crashing over the train tracks behind us where we were running! Someone I was evacuating with actually fell behind a bit and got swept off their feet from the current of the incoming flood. They made it back okay thanks to the heroes (firefighters). Then after that we went for an ambulance ride to safer pickup location, as this still wasn't a stable place to be. Our ambulance got stuck, I assume where the road collapsed at 16:57. I was inside the back of it without any good windows plus it was dark outside, but the driver and the paramedic were panicking, freaking out, "we are running out of road! The road is giving way! We're gonna get washed out!" etc. Once again for the 2nd time that evening we all thought we were going to die. I called my loved ones for one last time right about now. After frantically reshuffling the emergency vehicles that were blocking each other, having a better look at the situation in the poor visibility and doing some fancy ambulance maneuvering and later off-roading over the median to the other section of the highway, we eventually made it out okay and safely to Chilliwack! Oh my, what an emotional roller-coaster that was! Once again BIG THANKS to our heroes (1st responders) for all you do! You guys are absolute legends.

When those DUMBs /Tunnels gets Flooded (for cleaning and sealing them up) you can expect to see scenarios of the likes in the Cities of Abbotsford, Merritt, Princeton, etc, etc in British Columbia. ..... ..... If you’re walking around your town/cities - stay away from the man holes. It could be connected to the Tunnels/Dumbs underground and the Allied Troops are blowing them up. Sometimes, you will see smoke or fire coming out of these holes. Or you will see sink holes in the middle of the streets. So be aware and steer clear. The cleanup is being done everywhere in Canada (large cities, small cities, small towns) wherever there are DUMBs and Tunnels. "
Funny, I just came here from some trans tiktok user asking everyone to stop using “guys” for a gender neutral pronoun. To quote Spongebob. “Good luck with that!”

Great video. I live in Chilliwack, was not a good feeling to be cut off and trapped. Our Hope neighbours still are 😔. Thank you to you and everyone helping out. Pandemic to fires to floods… Stay safe and be kind everyone 🇨🇦
We had some local flooding, but we got off easy, I think. The corner of Broadway and Airport is still flooded (I live near there), but the closed roads inside the city are mainly low spots where the storm drains are backed up. Some people in that corner were still pumping water from their basements yesterday morning, and I think the one driveway near that corner is still under water. Was driving down Chilliwack Central on Tuesday night, and the water from the fields was nearly cresting the road in some spots.
Thank you so much for taking us along with you and thank you and all other pilots, river boat operators, our soldiers, the food banks, restaurants , medical teams, and strangers who jump in to help those affected by this huge natural disaster.
Great job! I don't think one can get the true scope of the devastation and flooding until it's seen from the air. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your insight into shooting it from the air. Awesome.
What a situation. I appreciate the real-time look and your description. We are over on Vancouver Island and have some flooding and roads washed out but very minor in comparison. Thanks again for the look and perspective of the devastation and also for what you are doing for those in need. 🙏

Thank you for the excellent footage and commentary. This has been the best source of information I have come across. You are doing a wonderful job helping the stranded and informing everyone. Thank you!
I'm on Vancouver Island. Grateful for the tour of the area. We were cut off from Victoria, but otherwise unscathed. Fuel was running low, some store shelves empty, but single lane alternating traffic is now happening. Trucks (semis) are detouring through the US, so supplies are coming. My heart goes out to all the residents, so hard hit with this. BC strong!

Wow. Thank you for the fly over and info on the fact that the flooded farmland was once a lake. In an era of everything being politicized, it's important to keep perspective.
What a perfect Video showing the amount of destruction! Thanks for giving such good details as well. Sure Glad I live in Prince Gorge, but this even affects Us up here.
Your supply lines are effected that below you is cut off from Vancouver till the roads are cleaned up, cleared and reopened. Better prepare for the long haul.
Wow this is very similar to what happened in Australia in 2019-20. Horrible bushfires which led to major flooding. We’ve had some flooding in the last couple days out west from where I am. I’m hearing a wet summer for us down here in Australia so hopefully not in the flooded areas we have already. Glad you guys at BC helicopters are ok and helping out where you can. Fantastic to do that. Hopefully the flooding subsides quickly and you can start rebuilding soon 🤞🏻

I have family in Maple Ridge and my daughter was explaining to me what had happened. Although they are safe, as a mother I can't help, but worry. The devastation is so moving and a heart filled message of hope and love goes out to the many people who are all affected by this natural disaster. I found the footage of the news to be somewhat unclear on the devastation and locations. Thank you soo much for providing the public with this incredible clear video footage. Be safe all:) Diane Foster from Pickering Ontario
Fab footage. Thanks. This is great advertising for your business! I've been sending this video to friends across Canada and the world. i saw a lot of helicopters in the air in Chilliwack today. The damage to prosperous farms, animals, homes and businesses is shocking.

Thank you so much for sharing this and for what you are doing to help. I have seen a lot of pics and short videos, but this is the first time I have seen the entirety of it. So overwhelming and devastating.
Watching the news this am, the RV fire had about 10 rows of new units untouched and upwind of the flames. Your fly-by shows 1.5 rows left. When they announced that the fire was ‘under control’ was probably because there was nothing left to burn. Thanks for this great tour of this rugged but beautiful Fraser Valley of BC💕

Fantastic reporting, thank you, and so interesting. Any news on people living at Powell River? I visited there from Australia nearly 10 years ago for a choral festival, and have fond memories of there.
Thank you so much for this video. It answers a lot of questions and has helped to set my expectations, being cut off from my home in the south Okanagan. I'm lucky I have a place to stay here. I have to again take a shot at the corporate news media. I've only seen good coverage from private UA-camrs. I get it that flooded homes and displaced people are important and tragic, but the total lack of any video coverage of the Highway 1 slides (including the Fraser Canyon), the Coquihalla washout, and the Sunshine Valley mudslide are frustrating. Given that it looks like Highway 7 to Hope, then Highway 3 to the Okanagan are going to be our best bets for getting home to the Okanagan and really anywhere in the interior, I would think a little coverage of those areas might offer some vestiges of hope for people who are cut off from their homes. Thank you so much again.
Thanks for this, I live in Ontario now but lived in Chilliwack for 5 years, my mom lived in Penticton and my dad was in Surrey. Seeing it on the news is very different than watching your video. What you're doing is amazing thank you.

@@blueman5924 oh my goodness! I might have known you! My parents were Henry and M. Wiens.Half mile north of Vye Rd., You must know B and R Wiens.Though lm not related to B. We were in the same class at school. R was my neighbor for years. They were evacuated early Monday morning. Live on Arnold Rd., for 50 years. We moved to a farm beside the freeway on the parallel rd and C street about 1967. Dad also owned the land where the golf course along the freeway is but sold it as farm land. Some realators had connections.Got married in 69.Vic and I have owned our farm in “Siberia” for 50 years but Arnold was my home for 18 years. I didn’t enjoy picking all those raspberries.I remember 1967,,,,,,the milk tanker stopped on the Freeway and dad had to haul the milk up to the freeway in milk cans because it was too icy on the parallel road. To think that both my former homes are under water and to think of the dairy farmers anguish kept me up a while the past 2 days.Lots of memories!! Will Upper Sumas school survive this? It’s 100 years old.My husbands sister still farm the land on east side of Vedder canal. I’ve often wondered where my former neighbors are now. Mom and her friend M. Stobbe are still alive in care in town. My family is in places from Maple Ridge to Kitchener. If you knew my younger sister C. Please pray for her. She just had a stem cell transplant, for cancer. Hi to all I used to know and lm praying for all.🙏🏻🙏🏻 Cheers from the “Republic of Peace River north” where we never change our clocks and believe in independent thought,,,,, and dislike being told what to put in our bodies unless it’s Sviebak, pluma moose, and farmer sausage.
Dorothy, you are a generous soul
All yakking about climate change but no on is saying that the flooded area was Sumas Prairie lake area that was pumped out to make farm land and the water is just reclaiming what was taken from it.
One of the better videos of the flooding I've seen. Thank you!
Thank you for the aerial view it really puts things into perspective. Such an overwhelming amount of work ahead to clear things.
Thank you for your service to humanity ! We will never forget your efforts ! !
You guys are amazing. Thanks for all that you do. ❤️
Great coverage, thank you. We are in Rosedale, right in the middle of all of those slides, but this is the first I’ve actually seen about what’s happening. Stay safe!
" Canada: In every City / Towns across Canada there are connecting Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMBS) / Tunnels.

That sums it up very well, great job, thanks for caring and helping.
Your excellent coverage was a real eye opener, most extensive yet.
Thanks for showing us all the different areas affected by flooding.
Thanks so much for sharing. It is awesome to get a first hand look at what is really going-on and great to see people helping each other out. Keep up the great work!
Thank you soooooo much. Great video - better than any news station !
Thank you for sharing this video! I’ve friends - Dave & Alicia Murphy who help run a campsite in Hope. It’s wonderful to see how the community is pulling together to help those who are stranded and needing help. Blessings to you and your team for all that you are doing.
Thanks for your service bud!!
Wishing everything gets back to normal as soon as absolutely possible. Cheers from Regina Saskatchewan
Moment of Silence ~ Grateful for Your humanity towards those who are Blessed to have You!
The few times I flew with you, or watch your videos, I have never heard the radio chatter so busy. I was thinking about you today and I'm glad to see that you're okay Mischa. Prayers and hugs my friend 🤗
@Ariel Traasdahl what?
You guys awesome!!! A BIG THANK👍 AND THE WHOLE TEAM AND THOSE WHO PITCHED IN TO HELP SO MANY IN TIMES OF NEED.
I'm in Hope and it is great to see all the help coming in, thanks for what you do.
Thank you so much for all those helping these precious people. ♥️
Best overview yet. Thanks for posting.
What a good guy and great information. Calm, bright, straightforward, no BS and no slants to fit anyone’s agenda. The kind of guy you’d want as your neighbor and friend. I’m nowhere near any of what’s going but wanted to know more. I thought a two minute news clip would be fine but clicked this instead and am very glad I did. If men and women like this guy are behind all the rescue and relief efforts then Canadians are in very good hands.
Good luck - you're blessed to have the skills and equipment to impact people's lives in a direct and amazing way. Keep'on rotorin'
Thanks for taking us up there with you...
The best footage available of the flooding. Better than any 'news' station and you did it while flying a freaking helicopter. Bravo dude. Subscribed!
Agreed. The mainstream media lies.
I did subscribe. , great footage for sure., better then the fake news!!
God bless folks like you helping reconnect stranded or isolated people with help, news, supplies, etc.
This reminds me of 2 events here in NJ....the prefect storm in 1991 and hurricane Sandy in 2012. Water everywhere. I hope everyone in BC is safe and more people like yourself come together and help each other out. You'll get through this....God bless🙏
Trust me it’s not really safe at the moment
All yakking about climate change but no on is saying that the flooded area was Soomas Prairie lake area that was pumped out to make farm land and the water is just reclaiming what was taken from it.
Wow...st. Louis, MO USA devastating news. Praying for the ones who lost their homes. The camp taking in all those people is amazing. Thank you for helping out. I just had to subscribe 😊
Really good video...thanks for helping us understand the gravity of situation. I have friends from Orting WA who are stranded in Hope. Thanks to everyone like yourself and others in BC helping everyone through this. Fly safe, heads up, eyes open and never assume anything!!!! 👍
Great footage! Thanks for sharing!
so sad and scary for all the people, animals and loved ones watching! Prayers for your comfort and a swift change to your fortunes.
Best update on the situation in bc! Excellent video 👍
I’m watching from Santa Cruz CA and my heart is broken at what I’m seeing. We were so lucky not to have fires here this year but lots last year. Thank you for taking the food to the people at the camp.
My brothers and sister live in santa cruz.
My sister owns Teresa's Salsa.
My brother flew the skydivers from half moon bay and Aptos.
Other brother was a waiter at the ideal for a while
I am getting 100 times more news from a few minutes of helicopter video and the drones than 10 days of "news media coverage". Thank you for your efforts. I will save my steam for another day. Thanks again.
Terrific report, great to have your images to fill in the stories from there.
Thanks very much for your video. Much better view of the valley than provided by the TV news.
Awesome.
thank you for capturing this. & safe travels doing an incredible service here
Wow.Stuff you don’t see on the news. Thanks really brought home the scope of the damage.
Thanks for taking us with you
What a situation. I appreciate the real-time look and your description. We are over on Vancouver Island and have some flooding and roads washed out but very minor in comparison. Thanks again for the look and perspective of the devastation and also for what you are doing for those in need. 🙏
Amazing footage. Thank you!
Best 'fly-along' I've seen so far, thank you for your good deeds and your effort in giving us a bird's-eye view of whats happening over there, certainly puts things into perspective, bloody heart breaking for the most and our prayers go out to all you affected by this, please try to be safe out there eh!
Wow ,you show better than any news stations!
What a fun job! And he picked up a bunch of nice people!
Thanks man. What a sight!
Incredible video. Best wishes to all affected - hope life gets back to normal soon and that there will be help with damages to homes, businesses and farms. Sending prayers from Oregon.
Good job u guys helping out all those people. Things like this is why BC helicopters are the best.
Thank you for the birds eye view! Can really see all the damage thats been done. Prayers for those affected from Duncan,BC
Thank you for the excellent footage and commentary. This has been the best source of information I have come across. You are doing a wonderful job helping the stranded and informing everyone. Thank you!
thanks so much for putting this up, it really helps with understanding how much damage there is
Thank you guys for making this videos..thank you for the help and support for others..God bless you all🙏😊
I'm on Vancouver Island. BC strong!
What a mess! I hope everybody is ok! Such good community.
So glad you guys are ok! I’ve been waiting anxiously to hear how you were affected, I knew you would be doing everything you could to help your community, God bless you and love and support from your neighbours in alberta 💕
Thank you for taking the time to give us a bird's eye view.
Your video offers a unique perspective of some of the damage from the flooding. Stay safe out there 🙏
All yakking about climate change but no on is saying that the flooded area was Soomas Prairie lake area that was pumped out to make farm land and the water is just reclaiming what was taken from it.
Thank you for the incredible footage. It is an excellent overview of the situation. You are doing a great job!
Wow. Thank you for the fly over and info on the fact that the flooded farmland was once a lake.
In an era of everything being politicized, it's important to keep perspective.
Prayers go out for all of the good folks suffering from the flooding
Thanks for uploading this.
Way to go buddy. God bless you. Prayers for you all from Quebec.
What a perfect Video showing the amount of destruction! Thanks for giving such good details as well. Sure Glad I live in Prince Gorge, but this even affects Us up here.
100mm is headed your way this weekend! Stay safe!!
Lived PG for 20 years. Awesome place to raise kids.
Very good video of showing it I googled map it the other day to try n figure it out
Appreciated, thank you - I’m in Kelowna and our Grocery stores are emptying out without deliveries from the coast.
Your supply lines are effected that below you is cut off from Vancouver till the roads are cleaned up, cleared and reopened. Better prepare for the long haul.
Thank you! Please, stay safe!
I personally believe that they use cloud seeding to make it rain, and direct energy weapons to melt ice and start wildfires. Silent war.
@@sarahstauffer4874 The bigger silent war is the cv scamdemic charade.
Yeah we get huge fires every year in BC since I was a kid.. this year many were arson but they said climate change
@@dallymoo7816 yeah much the same as here in Australia. We get a lot of arson too. Don’t know why, it’s prison and massive fines if your caught
@@sarahstauffer4874 North of Fort St. John, we’ve noticed planes at high altitude flying back and forth for who knows maybe 200 miles since spring. They leave parallel lines of what some call chem trails!! What’s that about??
Thank You for doing this. Amazing
So thankful to see you and your family are ok. I saw the flooding on the news and instantly thought of you and your BC Heli team.
You are doing a great job, keep up the good work….and thank you SOO O much for all your help🙂🙂👍👍
Hoping everyone is safe. I am fortunate to be somewhere safe, but may everyone get their life back.
AWESOME aerial coverage👍 Thanks!
I've been there.... it's sad and terrifying! Nice gesture, man! Hope no greater harm comes from that situation for all of you there!
Beautiful place a nice folks. Sorry to see the floods, take heart.
I found your footage to be very clear including the geography lesson for those of us who are not familiar with the area, but have family and friends close by. Mischa from Pilot Yellow, you are a guardian angel to be able to provide so much help for those who are in need and stranded. This is by far the best footage I have seen giving such clear descriptions of what is where and what is happening where. Thank you soo much for providing the public with this incredible clear video footage. Be safe all:) Diane Foster from Pickering Ontario
Awesome footage. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for the flyover report. This is the first I have heard of this. Prayers from Alaska
thank you so much for sharing... everything will be ok. stay safe .
Fab footage. Thanks. This is great advertising for your business! I've been sending this video to friends across Canada and the world. i saw a lot of helicopters in the air in Chilliwack today. The damage to prosperous farms, animals, homes and businesses is shocking.
Thank you for that amazing aerial tour of the flooding and landslides - great narration, too! Sorry to hear of the situation. A great service you do shuttling food and people back and forth. Stay safe - from your friends back in Ontario.
Thank you so much for sharing this and for what you are doing to help. I have seen a lot of pics and short videos, but this is the first time I have seen the entirety of it. So overwhelming and devastating.
That HWY 1 shot before Hope airport...what a great example of when a river decides to change its banks. Amazing. Great coverage and narration, Thanks!
Under control, what a joke. They couldn't get a fire unit to it for many hours due to the flooding.
Thanks for the info, qas quite shocking to see. Poor people.
Thank you so much for the tour! We really appreciate knowing what is happening. Hope all the waiting people are safe and have what they need.
Been watching all the news about this devastating flood but your coverage has much better view and info and glad while covering this news you also sending some kind of helps to the flood sufferings people. Praying everything get to normal soon. Stay safe. 🙏
Your profile name does not match the comment lmao 😂
@@Jam-cw7tq Named it 4 years ago, when the weather's still kinda normal, not much extreme weather. No covid, no devastating forest fires, not much record breaking floods.
BC, an absolutely beautiful place on earth and a blessing to have grown up there in the 50's. Thank you for offering your help. I remember always carrying survival gear in my car when driving in the north.
Fantastic reporting, thank you, and so interesting. Any news on people living at Powell River? I visited there from Australia nearly 10 years ago for a choral festival, and have fond memories of there.
Powell River was not affected by the storms👍
@@djchipper thank you for this info
Its very kind of you to doing this .
