From the thorns that Elysia was wearing. I only now noticed how much the story of Elysia was inspired by the story of Jesus. Her being the beginning and the end. Her sacrifice. Herrscher of human makes so much sense now.

13 flamechasers are often referred as sinners in story. Elysia sacrificed herself to give sinners another chance. She died for their sins wearing a crown made of thorns. You know honkai loves to turn historical figures into waifus like einstein. Since they cant just turn jesus into an anime girl they made an anime girl into jesus.
Can anyone summarised Jesus story and the similarities between Elysia and Jesus? I'm not Christian and very slow at reading story

Just her walking towards the other Flame Chasers is enough to make me cry
Elysia carries such significance and weight in her character. There's sacrifice, beauty, tragedy, pain, grief, acceptance, love, and many more that lets her leave a mark on the characters she interacts with, which in turn also leaves an impression on us.
Elysia is one of those characters that, in MY opinion, that feels so human to the point that she effectively tugs at your heartstrings. Heck, I'll even say that I personally think the Flame-chasers and ER are one of Mihoyo's best works.
Side note: These are only my own thoughts and opinions. Cheers.

this is one of the best trailers made by MiHoYo so far, it says everything about Elysia as a character and it moves me to tears with all the emotions within a 2min video.
I was already going all in for her, you didn’t need to do that with the Flame Chasers at the end.
…I’m glad you did though. I haven’t been this excited for a character since HoT Mei, and it’s already passed that point.
It is amazing that Inoue-sama voiced both Ellie and Vera, I love both charathers for VERY diffrent reasons but her being their voice is simply amazing

but the more i learnt about her, her personalities, her characters, the more i got interested in her.
and without i realized it, i've already fallen in love with her and her character
to add my surprise, her voice actress (seiyuu) is actually the same seiyuu who voiced my top 1 'waifu'
i just thought that, there was no really coincidence in life. or more like, "coincidence can be scary" lol

I am so excited for 6.0. Ely wasn’t really on my radar as a favorite or anything up until now but after 5.9 she is among the best characters in the game, and might be my favorite out of them all now. I knew I was going to save for the next Herrscher so I have my crystals ready to 4/4 but I am so happy it is for HoH.
When I started, she was the first thing I saw because of her trailer. Seeing her in her Herrscher form now is somewhat nostalgic...
