Elysia's JP VA said she was trying not to cry when recording the final lines, I guess that is why Elysia sounded more melancholic than her usual upbeat self during the battle with Mei and in this animation. Ps she sounds softer as the herrscher of human
In 7:27 Eden walking alone through the ruins of her Era is so damn tragic. She survived til the end but refused to enter the cryopod. Eden lost her will to live, wanting to die with her era. The Brightest star of the 1st Era lost her light, under a shining sky she walked alone. It made me cry.
She didnt lost her will to live, eden felt that she belonged to pe and should rest with it, Mobius understood that their lives must come to an end to give hope for the future when she saw eden refused, walking alone while singing before they death comes.

This is the lesson Elysia wanted everyone to learn- hope is the most powerful thing in all the universe, not just in this phone game but out in reality as well. Hope has driven humanity forward all throughout history. Sometimes it wasn’t pretty, sometimes it led to tragedies; but we always picked ourselves up and forged ahead, driven by a hope that things could be better, that WE could be better. We still have a long way to go on this journey, but looking back we can see just how far we’ve come, and that can give us the strength to keep pressing forward, farther than anyone before us ever could. As Elysia would say: “Tragedy isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of hope.”
Both JP and CN dub is very good. The effort the VAs put in is very appreciated. Farewell Flame-chasers, you will always be remembered. Anyways this is about my 20th time watching this and its still as good as how I watched it for the first time. Incredible.

Elysia was such a wonderful character. I didn't trust her at first due to her overly whimsical and playful personality, but as i progressed through the ER storyline i realized she truly was a genuine sweetheart.
That was definitely the point, up till then it had been so much struggling and barely making it through with deception all around especially coming from something Kevin had sent mei to there was a lot of mistrust but slowly and surely you seen the human behind the herrecher
I love how everything she said after she transformed into the herrscher of human was pretty much the exact same words she said to mei just before meeting mobius in elysian realm, even the "but visitor, your journey never ends, right?" Actually, I believe it's also a reference to one of her quotes when receiving her Signets. She tells Mei something along the lines of "I prepared 40 different versions of my opening lines". So if you think about it, rather than saying something unique to the Herrscher of Corruption, she gave it a cookie-cutter speech. It's also worth noting that the term "visitor" is used pretty much exclusively by Su to address Mei (probably every other successor as well, much like how Mobius probably calls every successor a lab rat).
the ENTIRE FIGHT is about Elysian and her 'pals' (even Kalpas) bidding a farewell note to Mei, togheter. Literally, they aren't givin any attention to HoC. From the begning even the 'for a herrscher, your appearence is kinda curious' was a compliment to mei, but soundeds weird, so elysia goes on 'but don't get mad, or I'll cry' on and on.

Kevin's scene there makes me a bit sad ngl. With everyone else we see them when they were at their happiest, but Kevin is pictured fighting Honkai beasts. This implies to me that the only thing Kevin has known in his life has been the Honkai war

It's really tragic, the man just wanted to have a normal life and now he's just fighting probably not for humanity but for the names of his fallen comrades
CN Elysia sounded full of determination and making sure that everything will end like how it is, while JP Elysia sounded encouraging that we should move on, leaving all the sorrow of 'their failure' to reach the future they failed to see. I'll be honest, CN one was more energetic, but the melancholic feeling JP dub gives is so beautiful. Farewell, Elysia. You, and the other 12 Flamechasers, will never die for us, as long the story remains in our heart.
Tbh my main comparison to these are when Corruption attempted to dodge the 12 attacks, but got forwarded by Ely who 'refused' to go back, and the ending shot. In CN, she scolded the Herrscher for trying to send them back (smth like "tsk tsk, nice try, but no thanks!"), while they've agreed to move on. While in JP, she was like "no, we're going no matter what!". The ending too. When CN version was like when she let out her last shot with determination, JP version was a bit sad that the shot will end them all, but it's needed in the end.
I'm so in love with Marina Inoue's performances. She did a good job on voicing two different entities with complete personality and full of passion just to make this emotional and intense. It's an amazing piece! Thank you, Inoue-sama!
I agree. And now, imagine the astonishing voice acting you have to do to dub every Vill-V personas. She's not really my favorite character, but voicing her must have been so difficult yet so rewarding. I just can't help but have mad respect for her seiyuu. Probably one of the best performance I ever saw, all JP voice acting alike.
You should see her performance as Vera from Punishing Gray Raven. But I have to agree, especially when she started to bring in The Herrscher of Corruption's vocal tone of being tired, exhausted, depressed and angry during the 1st Act of Chapter 31. She's truly a gifted VA

same at 3:28 , mobius turned herself into a power fragment for elysia, so elysia won't see her getting emotional. like the first time during the baquet, what even hurt more is that the first one to sacrfice herself to help elysia was mobius, says alot about these 2 relationship. o7

After Otto Apocalypse, I don't expect Hoyoverse to be able to produce another brilliant character. They really outdid themselves. Flame Chasers are the best 13 characters ever written for me personally. Well done, Mihoyo... Well done, Honkai team!

Eh…new story is quite disappointing to me atm, I want apho to be apart of main story… also I need Kiana to die. With every reason that makes sense. I think I’ll stick to paying attention to Honkai story more if that happens. Newer note: I finished the final part story when it obv came out. It had huge flaws, like the captain verse stuff. And the complicated writing, but seeing Kevin reunite with the Flamechasers and Dr.Mei absolutely tore me apart. The end was a little bad but it definitely wasn’t absolutely horrible.

For weeks after I went inside the realm, I tried to figure out who this bright girl is How come someone like her becomes a part of the MOTH's? The more I searched for the answer, the more she is enveloped in mystery What is she? Who is she? Still, no answer was found After not finding the answers, I just decided to not think too much of her But, she keeps appearing more and more Leaving behind impressions every time we met After times passed, I began to realize how I began to be attracted to her, in a way I cannot describe Is it her personality? Her charm? Her charisma? Farewell, heroes of the past Gotta love the references in this animation though.. the first few notes are the same in "Sweet Trap" around the beatdrop part, and even the last part (Ely standing in a field of flowers) is the same last notes in the first Elysia trailer And if I'm not mistaken, the part where they shoot HoC it kinda looks like Ely's signet 5:50 Also when Sakura says "This has never been seen before, right?" They were a team, yet never fought together And the thing that hit me deeply, is Elysia's speech. It's the exact same one from the first ER trailer, but I guess only now I realized that Mei actually did it.. Reach the future, I mean "To create the future, we could not reach." Mei, reached it SHE SURVIVES IN APHO AND IS NOW PASSING ON THEIR LEGACY IN A WAY The credits truly got me crying, it represents even though the 13 were "Heroes", they were all still human This is why I love mihoyo, o7

Elysia sounded so excited when Kevin asked if she was ready. That "Sure" in this case "Mochiron" (forgive me if I wrote this wrong) was voiced with her excitement of finally fighting together with all of the flamechasers which left a mark with me. I am really not that much familiar with CN VA so I really did not get the same vibes with JP but the CN ver is also great when I first watched it
Kevin and Elysia could be a better match than Kevin and Dr. MEI. An ice cold man that was tortured by destiny and a girl as warm and beauty as flower field.
@@fegito9206 from the way Ely talks to Mei she has more of a thing for girls from the looks of it, but Kevin deserved someone like her for sure. However, I kind of like the fact he ended up with someone like Mei for story reasons; I feel like his love-turned-obsession with Dr. MEI is going to be an antagonistic motif for him: since he couldn't save the one he loves, he's going to do the closest thing to saving her which is executing her plan, despite the fact it will harm humanity. He has nothing to protect. He does not care for his descendents, let alone humanity as a whole. The only thing he ever cared about is Dr. MEI. Whether or not she loved him the same way he loved her is unknown to me (as in she was just obsessed with him as he was with her; from the looks of it, not really, but she did love him), but you can tell how his inability to be with the one he loved most, especially after becoming a MANTIS, drove him to the brink of insanity. He would do anything to achieve what MEI couldn't. Just like Otto, he is carrying on a rotten, dirty grave on his back, refusing to move on.
yeah and all those fun aspect ratio things they did during it, turning to 4:3 when Elysia loses her eye, then into an oldschool TV shape when she's about to disappear and then slwoly builds back to 4:3 and finally Elysia destroys the borders and the video returns to the original ratio haha
The voice actress for Elysia is Marina Inoue. She has voiced many projects, most notably the anime series Attack on Titan and her talent is undeniable, truly special. They're right, the story Shaoji wrote wouldn't have been as emotional without the sacrifice
@@mizzuryu7969 yeah that can also be true, I truly believe that the wording is intentionally vague as for who she's talking to, since she's looking directly at us and not HOC. It's also positioned at the point where people may rewinds to a lot to listen to the main hook.
I'll be honest I was one of those people who doubted Elysia's intentions from the start when she was first ever introduced, she looked like this "Too good to be true sort of Woman". I was at first like "No way someone is this perpetually cheerful 24/7, in an era full of shit-tastic apocalypse level incidences without becoming a cynical, or atleast internally flawed or broken person", and that she must have had ulterior motives or had a hidden dark side with evil plans or machinations. Not helped by the mix signals some of the other Simulation FCs keep sending such as saying that she quote on quote "Betrayed" them, and yet at the same time said "She never turned her back on us or humanity". But as you move along ER and even as it bleeds into the Main Story, you start to unravel the complicated web of who Elysia is, through the other Flamechaser sims themselves, their personal lives, and how Elysia affected them once it was just the 13 of them left to fend for humanity. Let me just be proud to say, I was proven very, very wrong in my earlier assessment of her. She and the 12 others she brought together, although most of them were imperfect or flawed as they were, Elysia never cared to discriminate, because in the first place she has seen not only most of the evils humanity has to offer as she walked the land but above all the beauty and potential of humanity, and chose to stake her own beliefs on the latter. She chose to resist becoming jaded like most people with when seeing how evil and selfish humanity can be, and chose to fight for the good and kind things in the world, and be congenial to everyone since from the bottom of her heart she loves humanity and the potential to grow beyond their own failures that might crush their own spirits or break them into despair. It takes a whole lot of charisma to bring together 12 extremely difficult to handle people together, some of them emotionally broken inside, and to get them to even humor your vision for saving humanity. And imagine this, the ER Simulations even after 50,000 literal years are still enacting Elysia's vision to the present day. Elysia and the 12 Heroes may have failed many long years ago to protect earth, and the realm that stores everything about them to help the Present fight the Honkai, without resorting to mass human genocide, basically went poof because of the Present Era Herrscher of Corruption. Their teachings now live on in one person from the present, the purple lightning herself, who has truly gotten to know them beyond past their "Hero" facades, and as actual people with actual lives who makes mistakes just like any other person on earth but chose to stand on that stage. Some of them may have been called heroes for being the only ones to survive near the end of their era because of their powers that came at a great cost. But at the end of the day, all 13 fought to the bitter end without abandoning the battlefield or their duty "to protect humanity". Farewell and thank you Elysia for leaving behind this legacy, and story to tell for others to learn from. Project Ember may be defunct, but now that one person knows the true story and has learned from you personally, they will now alongside the other current era "Heroes" follow in your shoes.
The true beauty in her design Is that she's a very simple person. Shes a person that loves unconditionally, as proven by the 13 flamechasers unconditional trust in her(even kalpas, mobius and Kevin all trust her greatly), and pardo's trust in elysia bringing them back while in the corruption. She's only complicated because of human ego, which I think is what makes elysia beautiful, and what makes her concept so Intriguing

Honestly, I find it hard to believe anyone who isn't thinking exclusively with their shaft _didn't_ find her extremely suspicious, the writers wrote her like a folklore fairy- beautiful, sickeningly sweet words, never lies but blatantly withholding the whole truth, the fact she refused to badmouth anyone, even the characters that were openly hostile to her... The writing team did all they could to ensure Elysia had more red flags than a Chinese government building The result was one of the most interesting twists I've seen- there was nothing more to her than what she chose to present. Elysia stands as one of the few characters in video games you can take at face value one saying I have about Elysia is "She's a one-note character, but that note is pitch perfect"

yeah i realized that too, her "sure" in JP VA has a feel she endured tearing up since finally her dreams of fighting together and uniting the flame chasers comes true.
Well, that's because the real Kevin kinda sorta killed Elysia when she revealed she was born as a Herrscher. Sim Kevin knows and accepts her, and Elysia knows that Kevin has changed a lot since he accepted Mei into his group and she openly shows that she's a Herrscher. The man who redefines the term 'cold shoulder'has changed for the better, both in the Realm and in reality. Underneath her flirting and cheery personality, I think Elysia is very insecure about her being a Herrscher, with Vill-V and possibly only Eden knowing and accepting the "whole Elysia."

@@godluck5434 I am talking about those who knew Elysia was a Herrscher before she revealed it and was killed by Kevin. Vill-V knew, Eden probably knew as well, but I don't think anyone else did. (Griseo definitely didn't know, nor was she present when Elysia was killed) Given how Elysia seems to be able to hide things even from Griseo's power, it is highly likely both Su and Aponia didn't know through their psychic powers. Sakura, probably too busy to find out. Kalpas wouldn't care until after learning he missed a chance to fight a Herrscher. It is also obvious that Mobius didn't know before hand. Sure, the sims that didn't know before probably learned about it later, but only a handful knew the whole Elysia before that fateful day. I think the only sims that didn't know were Griseo and Fu Hua, possibly Sakura as well. Again, Kalpas probably didn't care, too busy trying to think of a way to beat Aponia.
Elysia one of the heroines of the previous world, at first people thought she was someone strange, then someone funny and laughing but still nothing was known about her, each time they told us more about her origin and each time she stole our hearts more and more, she fought alongside her dear friends and companions, the 13 Flame Chaser stood up and fought to the end and against fate, goodbye to a great warrior and a great friend, someone who loved humanity until her last breath~
Farewell Elysia. You were as pure as a crystal yet as lonely as a flower in a desert. You came from destruction and yet reached the civilization. You were so godly yet so human. You were all the things beautiful in the world. You were truly the epitome of humanity. Sent to destroy it. Ended up saving it. See you in the next world my pristine flower.

I recently finished Elysian Realm and Elysian Everlasting. This game so far has been some of the best storytelling I have ever seen. I love the flame-chasers and everything so far. I’m on Chapter 35 , and witnessing Elysia’s story is so well done. I love it. I love it all. Such a wonderful story of simple heroes, but a deep meaning.

At this point Honkai will go down as my favourite game of all time. The story, cinematics, passion that went into it, and the emotions that this game can bring out of people are on an entirely different level.
This animation is god-like, so well mixed together with VA performance, the music, the lyrics, and the animation, cut scene...etc Please, Hihoyo, please produce a movie for the flamechaser 13! Their story is written so well and touching!
When I first was introduced to Elysia in ER, I didn’t care much for her character because of all the secrets she was keeping. I just finished EE today, and I was bawling my eyes out for our beautiful Pink Elf and her 12 companions in this short. Such emotion they put into these wow. Elysia really was one of the most important characters in this game, the first Herrscher, and one who loved life and humanity so much.
It's already a month, why the frick can't I move on from this? Seeing thirteen of them fighting together really hits hard like a truck no matter how many times I watch this.
Same boy/girl, same. I am never over this (I mean I will never forget their sacrifice and love towards humanity) Forever carrying on their legacy, especially Elysia's ego until the day I pass

Music, animation, voice acting, sound design, characters, stories, lore, development, everything is just perfectly crafted and this was proof of it. experiencing this game for the first time would be once in a lifetime. I cannot express how much I love this game. it made me see life in a different way, it helped me get through my real life. I dont know how to say more about this feeling but thank to single person who worked with this game. I wanted to express my feelings for this game more but I feel like ive said enough. Honkai impact always out here with the best animation and soundtrack i have seen out of all the games out there, their character building is just phenomenal. In my opinion this game is just peak fiction
I have to be honest, I don't think there is a superlative that can describe how great Honkai Impact's story and plot. Its even greater than most triple AAA console games. When I first played the first 3 chapters, I seriously thought its just a typical beat'em up game with great graphics and funny story, I mean its a mobile game no one expects to have something this great in a mobile game. I was proven wrong

Elysian Realm, even though it's just spanned for a year. I've never felt so attached to a digital space inside a digital game. Also, I love that they made the computer text Japanese.
Elysia's japanese voice is so unique and delightful to hear. It's s like a melody, a little sweet lullaby, so pleasant and saccharine at the same time, really gorgeous and an amazing job by Marina Inoue giving her such a gorgeous voice, that fits very well with Elysia's personality at all.

They have forge a path for the new generation, at the end of that future they created is where their graves at, they are just a mirage of the past, and now their succesors is thwre approaching the end of the future they created, before they for left behind and forgotten, they want to share their legacies and stories to inspire them and step on the new boundary they can never cross anymore, they share you their stories and give you your legacy. Will you walk their paths and continue their forgotten legacy? Or will you use them as an inspiration to pave your own path for the future? After all, it's a lonely life to be left behind forgotten, how can you prove that all of your struggles, happiness, emotions, deeds for the world are there when no one even remember that you once existed, they are the nameless. Just like Pardo's hometown Sundown Alley. "This is the Sundown Alley, the place where she was born, even though the moonlight shines upon the ruins, she can't see where she had left her treasures behind. It was like the shovel and the big hole never existed. As if all the people who had stood thwre never existed." This is the perfect goodbye to the 13 Flamechasers. I've haven't felt this emotionally overwhelmed to the point of crying in a video game for a long time now. GG Honkai, 11/10 would cry again to amazing characters and writing. also take my money, I WILL get Elysia to come home in v6.0
So this is it eh? The final journey of the 13 has wrapped up. And currently, the final journey for the current era is approaching. My heart is not ready :(

I think it’s beautiful that Elysia remains in her Human form in the final fight against HOC, rather than her seemingly stronger Origin form. Almost like an ode to the human girl that graced the world so many years ago. Quite amazing.
When i finished chapter 29-31 it became my favorite chapter and all the 13 flame chasers became my most loved characters even they only are memories there, and this cutscene made me crazy in the song TruE i just love it it tells every feeling in elysian realm and chapter 29-31
6:20 onward really had me in the heart, it’s the gathering of the unusual thirteen from across the world, of every origin, and that Kevin last scene with the baseball bat got me all teary, before all of your Kaslana superhumans with the Parvati gene, Kevin was just an ordinary good-looking athletic kid with perhaps a knack for fighting. I can’t describe the feeling of watching these unique personality from their different background gather to become the Flamechasers, Like.. It’s realistic, MHY did them justice by fleshing out each and everyone’s story, yet making them remain connected to eachother in someway.
Elysium realm story line are the only thing that made me cry in HI3 but this animation.... I guess, this becomes my favorite cut scene that I've ever seen, and I want to say Thank you for team that makes this animation and music Now it's the second thing that made me cry Farewell, Flame Chasers and thanks for all
When I look back at this again, I will always remember the story of these 13 brave heroes. And this was passed on to the heroes of Amphoreus in the Honkai Star Rail universe Continue again❤

Elysia could just run the elysian realm delete command, but understood that by doing so, the flame chasers won't reach the grand finale she had always dreamed of
This sort of love and sacrifice is something only Elysia is capable of giving, her love for humans and her desire to be one has far surpassed all levels of love and purity. This affection is something only Elysia can bear to give. It's so bittersweet that we have to bid the Flamechasers farewell, feels like I needed more of it but nevertheless some things are better left as it is. As long as we remember all of them, the Thirteen Flamechasers who lived with pride will never die 💕

I’ve never knew love, until I met Elysia. She taught me how to love myself and become determined to save everything I deemed my worth in life. I was so interested into her, the lore, the emotions and story.. it brings me so close to being happy. Every single flamechaser told me a vital thing about life. Aponia, she told me that fate can be challenging but it will always come with a good cause. Kaplas, he taught me that rage is not the way, but a kind soul can overcome it. But with tainted memories it hurts more. Mobius, she made me remember that everything can be mistaken and taken the wrong direction. But not wanting to back down for the sake of a dream of paradise. Kevin.. Made me realize anyone can be a hero If they just try, so they can fight for what they’re fighting for. Sakura, made me realize that a blade can cherish the memories of being taught of the blade. Even if your lost, your blade carved your path. Fu hua, taught me that patience is key, and understanding the path of success is with the way of the mind. And Elysia. Words cannot express what she taught me.. but only a word that I hold dear to my heart. Is to fight for everything that is beautiful. Cause hope is there. We aren’t seeing it right. That’s because.. we are flamechasers. And we have to chase that hope, until our light reaches its destination. And with those words.. a curtain call of our dearest flamechasers. Come to a end.

In 7:27 Eden walking alone through the ruins of her Era is so damn tragic. She survived til the end but refused to enter the cryopod. Eden lost her will to live, wanting to die with her era. The Brightest star of the 1st Era lost her light, under a shining sky she walked alone. It made me cry.

I didn't trust her at first due to her overly whimsical and playful personality, but as i progressed through the ER storyline i realized she truly was a genuine sweetheart.

Actually, I believe it's also a reference to one of her quotes when receiving her Signets. She tells Mei something along the lines of "I prepared 40 different versions of my opening lines". So if you think about it, rather than saying something unique to the Herrscher of Corruption, she gave it a cookie-cutter speech. It's also worth noting that the term "visitor" is used pretty much exclusively by Su to address Mei (probably every other successor as well, much like how Mobius probably calls every successor a lab rat).
the ENTIRE FIGHT is about Elysian and her 'pals' (even Kalpas) bidding a farewell note to Mei, togheter. Literally, they aren't givin any attention to HoC.
From the begning even the 'for a herrscher, your appearence is kinda curious' was a compliment to mei, but soundeds weird, so elysia goes on 'but don't get mad, or I'll cry'

CN Elysia sounded full of determination and making sure that everything will end like how it is, while JP Elysia sounded encouraging that we should move on, leaving all the sorrow of 'their failure' to reach the future they failed to see. I'll be honest, CN one was more energetic, but the melancholic feeling JP dub gives is so beautiful.
Farewell, Elysia. You, and the other 12 Flamechasers, will never die for us, as long the story remains in our heart.

Tbh my main comparison to these are when Corruption attempted to dodge the 12 attacks, but got forwarded by Ely who 'refused' to go back, and the ending shot.
In CN, she scolded the Herrscher for trying to send them back (smth like "tsk tsk, nice try, but no thanks!"), while they've agreed to move on. While in JP, she was like "no, we're going no matter what!".
The ending too. When CN version was like when she let out her last shot with determination, JP version was a bit sad that the shot will end them all, but it's needed in the end.
I'm so in love with Marina Inoue's performances. She did a good job on voicing two different entities with complete personality and full of passion just to make this emotional and intense. It's an amazing piece! Thank you, Inoue-sama!
I agree. And now, imagine the astonishing voice acting you have to do to dub every Vill-V personas. She's not really my favorite character, but voicing her must have been so difficult yet so rewarding. I just can't help but have mad respect for her seiyuu. Probably one of the best performance I ever saw, all JP voice acting alike.

After Otto Apocalypse, I don't expect Hoyoverse to be able to produce another brilliant character. They really outdid themselves. Flame Chasers are the best 13 characters ever written for me personally. Well done, Mihoyo... Well done, Honkai team!

Eh…new story is quite disappointing to me atm, I want apho to be apart of main story… also I need Kiana to die. With every reason that makes sense. I think I’ll stick to paying attention to Honkai story more if that happens.
Newer note: I finished the final part story when it obv came out. It had huge flaws, like the captain verse stuff. And the complicated writing, but seeing Kevin reunite with the Flamechasers and Dr.Mei absolutely tore me apart. The end was a little bad but it definitely wasn’t absolutely horrible.

That "Sure" in this case "Mochiron" (forgive me if I wrote this wrong) was voiced with her excitement of finally fighting together with all of the flamechasers which left a mark with me. I am really not that much familiar with CN VA so I really did not get the same vibes with JP but the CN ver is also great when I first watched it

However, I kind of like the fact he ended up with someone like Mei for story reasons; I feel like his love-turned-obsession with Dr. MEI is going to be an antagonistic motif for him: since he couldn't save the one he loves, he's going to do the closest thing to saving her which is executing her plan, despite the fact it will harm humanity.
He has nothing to protect. He does not care for his descendents, let alone humanity as a whole. The only thing he ever cared about is Dr. MEI. Whether or not she loved him the same way he loved her is unknown to me (as in she was just obsessed with him as he was with her; from the looks of it, not really, but she did love him), but you can tell how his inability to be with the one he loved most, especially after becoming a MANTIS, drove him to the brink of insanity. He would do anything to achieve what MEI couldn't. Just like Otto, he is carrying on a rotten, dirty grave on his back, refusing to move on.

At first, I saw Elysia as a walking red flag for her too good to be true personality but eventually she became one of my favourite characters
The voice actress for Elysia is Marina Inoue. She has voiced many projects, most notably the anime series Attack on Titan and her talent is undeniable, truly special. They're right, the story Shaoji wrote wouldn't have been as emotional without the sacrifice

I'll be honest I was one of those people who doubted Elysia's intentions from the start when she was first ever introduced, she looked like this "Too good to be true sort of Woman".
I was at first like "No way someone is this perpetually cheerful 24/7, in an era full of shit-tastic apocalypse level incidences without becoming a cynical, or atleast internally flawed or broken person", and that she must have had ulterior motives or had a hidden dark side with evil plans or machinations.
Not helped by the mix signals some of the other Simulation FCs keep sending such as saying that she quote on quote "Betrayed" them, and yet at the same time said "She never turned her back on us or humanity".
But as you move along ER and even as it bleeds into the Main Story, you start to unravel the complicated web of who Elysia is, through the other Flamechaser sims themselves, their personal lives, and how Elysia affected them once it was just the 13 of them left to fend for humanity.
Let me just be proud to say, I was proven very, very wrong in my earlier assessment of her.
She and the 12 others she brought together, although most of them were imperfect or flawed as they were, Elysia never cared to discriminate, because in the first place she has seen not only most of the evils humanity has to offer as she walked the land but above all the beauty and potential of humanity, and chose to stake her own beliefs on the latter.
She chose to resist becoming jaded like most people with when seeing how evil and selfish humanity can be, and chose to fight for the good and kind things in the world, and be congenial to everyone since from the bottom of her heart she loves humanity and the potential to grow beyond their own failures that might crush their own spirits or break them into despair.
It takes a whole lot of charisma to bring together 12 extremely difficult to handle people together, some of them emotionally broken inside, and to get them to even humor your vision for saving humanity.
And imagine this, the ER Simulations even after 50,000 literal years are still enacting Elysia's vision to the present day.
Elysia and the 12 Heroes may have failed many long years ago to protect earth, and the realm that stores everything about them to help the Present fight the Honkai, without resorting to mass human genocide, basically went poof because of the Present Era Herrscher of Corruption. Their teachings now live on in one person from the present, the purple lightning herself, who has truly gotten to know them beyond past their "Hero" facades, and as actual people with actual lives who makes mistakes just like any other person on earth but chose to stand on that stage.
Some of them may have been called heroes for being the only ones to survive near the end of their era because of their powers that came at a great cost.
But at the end of the day, all 13 fought to the bitter end without abandoning the battlefield or their duty "to protect humanity".
Farewell and thank you Elysia for leaving behind this legacy, and story to tell for others to learn from.
Project Ember may be defunct, but now that one person knows the true story and has learned from you personally, they will now alongside the other current era "Heroes" follow in your shoes.
The true beauty in her design Is that she's a very simple person. Shes a person that loves unconditionally, as proven by the 13 flamechasers unconditional trust in her(even kalpas, mobius and Kevin all trust her greatly), and pardo's trust in elysia bringing them back while in the corruption. She's only complicated because of human ego, which I think is what makes elysia beautiful, and what makes her concept so Intriguing

I really hated Elysia at first and distrusted her, but with time I started understanding her better and my opinion changed
Honestly, I find it hard to believe anyone who isn't thinking exclusively with their shaft _didn't_ find her extremely suspicious, the writers wrote her like a folklore fairy- beautiful, sickeningly sweet words, never lies but blatantly withholding the whole truth, the fact she refused to badmouth anyone, even the characters that were openly hostile to her...
The writing team did all they could to ensure Elysia had more red flags than a Chinese government building
The result was one of the most interesting twists I've seen- there was nothing more to her than what she chose to present. Elysia stands as one of the few characters in video games you can take at face value

yeah i realized that too, her "sure" in JP VA has a feel she endured tearing up since finally her dreams of fighting together and uniting the flame chasers comes true.
Well, that's because the real Kevin kinda sorta killed Elysia when she revealed she was born as a Herrscher. Sim Kevin knows and accepts her, and Elysia knows that Kevin has changed a lot since he accepted Mei into his group and she openly shows that she's a Herrscher. The man who redefines the term 'cold shoulder'has changed for the better, both in the Realm and in reality.
Underneath her flirting and cheery personality, I think Elysia is very insecure about her being a Herrscher, with Vill-V and possibly only Eden knowing and accepting the "whole Elysia."

@@godluck5434 I am talking about those who knew Elysia was a Herrscher before she revealed it and was killed by Kevin. Vill-V knew, Eden probably knew as well, but I don't think anyone else did. (Griseo definitely didn't know, nor was she present when Elysia was killed) Given how Elysia seems to be able to hide things even from Griseo's power, it is highly likely both Su and Aponia didn't know through their psychic powers. Sakura, probably too busy to find out. Kalpas wouldn't care until after learning he missed a chance to fight a Herrscher. It is also obvious that Mobius didn't know before hand.
Sure, the sims that didn't know before probably learned about it later, but only a handful knew the whole Elysia before that fateful day. I think the only sims that didn't know were Griseo and Fu Hua, possibly Sakura as well. Again, Kalpas probably didn't care, too busy trying to think of a way to beat Aponia.
In CN, shes saying something like Obviously tbh. The translation of "Sure!" is a bit too general for both languages.

I recently finished Elysian Realm and Elysian Everlasting. This game so far has been some of the best storytelling I have ever seen. I love the flame-chasers and everything so far. I’m on Chapter 35 , and witnessing Elysia’s story is so well done. I love it. I love it all. Such a wonderful story of simple heroes, but a deep meaning.

When I first was introduced to Elysia in ER, I didn’t care much for her character because of all the secrets she was keeping. I just finished EE today, and I was bawling my eyes out for our beautiful Pink Elf and her 12 companions in this short. Such emotion they put into these wow.
Elysia really was one of the most important characters in this game, the first Herrscher, and one who loved life and humanity so much.
It's already a month, why the frick can't I move on from this? Seeing thirteen of them fighting together really hits hard like a truck no matter how many times I watch this.

This experience something that I really needed in my life...I never played a game that made me cry so many times than this and Chapter 31 is just amazing. Music, animation, voice acting, sound design, characters, stories, lore, development, everything is just perfectly crafted and this was proof of it. experiencing this game for the first time would be once in a lifetime. I cannot express how much I love this game. it made me see life in a different way, it helped me get through my real life. I dont know how to say more about this feeling but thank to single person who worked with this game. I wanted to express my feelings for this game more but I feel like ive said enough. Honkai impact always out here with the best animation and soundtrack i have seen out of all the games out there, their character building is just phenomenal. In my opinion this game is just peak fiction

I have to be honest, I don't think there is a superlative that can describe how great Honkai Impact's story and plot. Its even greater than most triple AAA console games.
When I first played the first 3 chapters, I seriously thought its just a typical beat'em up game with great graphics and funny story, I mean its a mobile game no one expects to have something this great in a mobile game. I was proven wrong

Elysian Realm, even though it's just spanned for a year. I've never felt so attached to a digital space inside a digital game. Also, I love that they made the computer text Japanese.

Elysia's japanese voice is so unique and delightful to hear. It's s like a melody, a little sweet lullaby, so pleasant and saccharine at the same time, really gorgeous and an amazing job by Marina Inoue giving her such a gorgeous voice, that fits very well with Elysia's personality at all.

Literally me, the punchline of the foreshadowing is what makes me tearful as their very words from beginning held a great weight right now which makes it Impactful.
They have forge a path for the new generation, at the end of that future they created is where their graves at, they are just a mirage of the past, and now their succesors is thwre approaching the end of the future they created, before they for left behind and forgotten, they want to share their legacies and stories to inspire them and step on the new boundary they can never cross anymore, they share you their stories and give you your legacy.
Will you walk their paths and continue their forgotten legacy?
Or will you use them as an inspiration to pave your own path for the future?
After all, it's a lonely life to be left behind forgotten, how can you prove that all of your struggles, happiness, emotions, deeds for the world are there when no one even remember that you once existed, they are the nameless.

I think it’s beautiful that Elysia remains in her Human form in the final fight against HOC, rather than her seemingly stronger Origin form.
Almost like an ode to the human girl that graced the world so many years ago. Quite amazing.
When i finished chapter 29-31 it became my favorite chapter and all the 13 flame chasers became my most loved characters even they only are memories there, and this cutscene made me crazy in the song TruE i just love it it tells every feeling in elysian realm and chapter 29-31
6:20 onward really had me in the heart, it’s the gathering of the unusual thirteen from across the world, of every origin, and that Kevin last scene with the baseball bat got me all teary, before all of your Kaslana superhumans with the Parvati gene, Kevin was just an ordinary good-looking athletic kid with perhaps a knack for fighting.
I can’t describe the feeling of watching these unique personality from their different background gather to become the Flamechasers,
Like.. It’s realistic, MHY did them justice by fleshing out each and everyone’s story, yet making them remain connected to eachother in someway.

It's so bittersweet that we have to bid the Flamechasers farewell, feels like I needed more of it but nevertheless some things are better left as it is. As long as we remember all of them, the Thirteen Flamechasers who lived with pride will never die 💕

I am always impressed with Mihoyo's animations, they are always beautiful and always give emotions.
Congratulations miHoYo for creating such an amazing game like Honkai!
I’ve never knew love, until I met Elysia. She taught me how to love myself and become determined to save everything I deemed my worth in life. I was so interested into her, the lore, the emotions and story.. it brings me so close to being happy. Every single flamechaser told me a vital thing about life.
Aponia, she told me that fate can be challenging but it will always come with a good cause.
Kaplas, he taught me that rage is not the way, but a kind soul can overcome it. But with tainted memories it hurts more.
Mobius, she made me remember that everything can be mistaken and taken the wrong direction. But not wanting to back down for the sake of a dream of paradise.
Kevin.. Made me realize anyone can be a hero If they just try, so they can fight for what they’re fighting for.
Sakura, made me realize that a blade can cherish the memories of being taught of the blade. Even if your lost, your blade carved your path.
Fu hua, taught me that patience is key, and understanding the path of success is with the way of the mind.
And Elysia.
Words cannot express what she taught me.. but only a word that I hold dear to my heart. Is to fight for everything that is beautiful. Cause hope is there. We aren’t seeing it right. That’s because.. we are flamechasers. And we have to chase that hope, until our light reaches its destination. And with those words.. a curtain call of our dearest flamechasers. Come to a end.
