      @@asyrafKM82 hi. Erm this car has a dealer here in thailand for right hand drive. You must look at your local dealer in Malaysia for the left hand drive. And we got it here because of the great warranty. I recommend DO NOT buy anything expensive and imported without warranty.

      Technically the average new gas car price over the past 2 years has been 45,000usd. So this is way way under that. And it's ev

    Can't wait when they deliver the cars to the future customers here in Indonesia (Oct/Nov). Any software upgrade offered from the service center so far?

      they have slight software updates, but nothing major so far.

    I test drove this a few days ago.
    Nice to drive, looks nice, decent build quality, but the showstopper was the blinkers on the left side of the stearing wheel. Opposite all other cars in Thailand.
    As you mention, simply imported, not adapted and not really ready for the Thai market.
    Maybe in a year or two.

      Actually that happens with UK/EU cars too. The Japanese cars have the blinkers to the right. So most probably you're driving a Toyota or something. But it's something you get used to very quickly, don't worry.

    This is the right money for entry level ev here in Thailand. But I do worry a lot about servicing/parts etc heading into the future in the longer term with these new smaller brands.
    The MG 4 EV is a winner for me, but it's definitely a big jump in price (whilst being very good value for a big brand EV)

      Update on this. Someone hit my girl's car. Warranty and service was fast to fix. Well done. Normal service time of fixing in Thailand 1 week.

      Don't worry about parts. Neta is going to have a factory to assemble cars in Thailand.

      My girl has done 20,000 kms already. Super happy and trouble free. Only thing is change the rear suspension. It was a $70 upgrade (2000baht)

      Literally everywhere. Once you live ev, you'd be looking for the chargers. There are many apps. First is the ptt ev app, then plug share, then pea

      @@onesteptravelandvisa5741 no issues at all. Both our evs are waterproof. In addition to that, both have better traction on wet roads than standard cars

    Awesome video on the Neta V! wondering how can you change the suspension for only 2000 baht? How did you improve the suspension?

      Yea there was guy from the Neta owners Facebook group. He just came to the house to replace the rear shocks. It made a world of difference! Much less bouncy and like a proper little car. It felt similar to a Honda jazz

    The reason for the 2 charging flaps is because in some markets they have Chademo and it’s too big to fit in the same compartment as the level 2 charger.

Designed for the left hand drive market! Their chargers are on the other side. Since Thailand is right hand drive, it's for right hand drive markets. Simple as that.       @@EVSpeed this is a Global car and will need to have Chademo for those markets… the Chademo connection is too big to fit in the same area with the other plug… and if you don’t know what Chademo is, you don’t need to be reviewing EVs

      This is a 2023 and the difference with the newer one is very small. Just newer front and back body. This is called Neta v

      Great. Zero issues. She drives on average 350 kms per charge !!!!
      We did a rear suspension upgrade for 2000 baht so it's firmer, because the stock one is just hilariously bouncy.
      We also installed Android auto on it. So now she can have her maps, UA-cam, music etc on that giant screen.
      It's a fantastic car for the money, really. I highly recommend

      Yea. But that is a different problem. In this cheap car, you can understand why there isn't a wiper, but in an expensive car, you ASK why isn't there a wiper haha

      Lol. It's literally like any other Tesla or Mercedes. Straight from the Mercedes parts bin. You are confusing japanese cars, which have the turn signal stalk on the right, and the rest of the market cars which have the turn signal stalk on the left

      Changed the rear shocks to better ones because the stock ones were way way too soft. Cost about $60. That's all. The rest is service warranty, the interior air filter has been replaced because in Thailand there is a lot of pollution.

      I'm thinking hard on the Neta but realizing you get what you pay for, but you and many others say it is pretty good. I haven't seen anywhere saying how much to replace battery when warranty runs out.

      @@waynelove8752 you can worry about that after 8 years haha. But don't worry actually, the car is solid. Just change those horrible rear shocks, is all. 2000 baht. Also think about the future in 8 years, the battery will not suddenly die. You'll just have maybe 80% energy left, instead of 100%. And even then, you can find loads of custom shops around Thailand that would probably make a new battery pack for you, which would be cheaper, double the range, lighter etc....

      @@waynelove8752 yep. This car is good because it's affordable. But the best deal for Thailand is MG. They have service centers everywhere, including their own fast charging network
