Hey Tony. I am pleased to hear that you have learnt something new from one of my videos. I must be doing something right then... lol. Yes some decent progress has been made now. More to come soon hopefully. Cheers. Mark.
Thank you Stephen. Your comments are really appreciated. Yeah I must admit that, even without the 'water' in it, the river/stream does look good when trains pass over it. Hopefully I will get the pour right when it actually comes to doing it and can do some justice to it. Cheers. Mark.
My old mimic panel was similar marker pen lines on a bit of ply with rivet heads for cantacts with an old jack plug as the selector, at least the trains run nice on the extension
Hi Clive. Thank you for taking the time to comment on my video. It is much appreciated. Great minds think alike as they say... 😂 Yes the trains seem to be running nice on the extension so far touch wood. I have some more testing to do yet though. Cheers. Mark.
Ah great. I was thinking about how to build mine, where I have 2 stations at other sides of the room I want to have a central control panel that I can walk about with. Need to get on and plan that 😂
Hi RandomPea. My two stations are on opposite sides of the room. I made this mimic panel for the new station on the new layout extension. It is a fixed one. I have never seen a control panel that you can walk about with, so it will be interesting to see yours whenever you make it. All the best. Mark.
I was hoping to see Bluebell get a test run. In any case, I've done something very nerve-racking for the first time. A track controller has been plugged in and attached to N Gauge track. I've taken my first step into the N Gauge world of railway modelling. I've got most of the N Gauge track, just waiting for the last 4 pieces to come from ebay. Regarding models, I have a Toad Van from ebay, four trucks from my friend Alfie, and I'm waiting on an N Gauge Prairie Tank Engine from ebay. I'm nervous about handling the tiny tank engine.
Hi Kelly. I was actually intending to have Bluebell running on one or two of the test runs. But unfortunately I didn't get a chance to put her on the rolling road first, so that she could stretch her legs a bit. So when I went to use her, she was still a bit stiff from lack of use and didn't want to run properly. Hopefully she will want to come out and play nicely next time, so that she can star in the next test/running session. Good luck with your N Gauge adventures. Cheers. Mark.
Hi Kevin. Thank you so much for your kind comments. They are really appreciated. Yes hopefully I can make it to the Chatham show in July. I won't know until nearer the time though. If I do go, it will be on the Sunday of the show, as I am working on the Saturday. Cheers. Mark.
Hello Mark, great to see trains running nice update.
Hello Deano. Thanks for commenting on my video. Yeah it is indeed good to see the trains running again. More to come soon hopefully. Cheers. Mark.
Nice update Mark, good seeing the trains running regards Paul
Thanks Paul. Yes it's good to finally see the trains running again. More to come soon. Cheers. Mark.
A mimic panel, I have learnt something new today Mark so thank you for that. Nice bit of progress all starting to come together nicely.

Yes it's working good now Mark :o)
Yeah it all seems ok so far on the initial test runs Alan. Hopefully I will get to do some more testing soon. Cheers. Mark.
Nice one Mark, the River looks good in the foreground when the trains went pass in the background.
