Salalah صَلَالَة, is the capital and largest city of the southern Omani governorate of Dhofar.
Salalah is the birthplace of the former sultan, Qaboos bin Said. Salalah attracts many people from other parts of Oman and the Globe during the monsoon/khareef season, which spans from June to September. Tourists visit Salalah during this season. AL HAFFA market is one of the distinctive markets in the Sultanate of Oman where you can get souvenirs. The market is conveniently located as it is located on Sultan Qaboos Road near the beach. It is a very beautiful old traditional Omani market where you can find everything you are looking for from traditional Omani things. Among the distinguished options in the market are incense, hats, tea, herbs and perfumes such as oud and many others.
