How come every week the Steelers seem to never get the calls . Grabbed on the two point conversion, George Pickens gets tripped on the sideline, Joey Porter jr. get hands to the face on a big pick up by Jodey, running into the punter on the Steelers last possession, Nick Herbic gets held on J.Winstons TD run. I mean these r crucial plays these Refs r missing its starting to seem intentional.
People dont know how great Myles Garrett is, unfortunately he plays on a horrible team Miles clearly separated himself from the rest to night. Better weather who knows how many sacks he would have had
So? Who's their other option? Arthur Smith has destroyed what was left of Fields' self-confidence, refusing to allow him to throw long. Now that idiot Tomlin is actually risking injuring him by using him on rushes, making it worse. "Who cares, you're expendable, Justin.." In case someone asks, some fans look at the stats. There are former QBs who analyze tape. Between them they noticed that Smith reduced the # of snaps Pickens got & that he was dragging his feet on the ones he did get. The only reason any of them could think of was that he *knew* he wasn't to be targeted. Now you don't tell the receiver to not catch the ball thrown to them when you send them on clearing routes. You tell the QB not to throw to them. Here's why this is never done in the NFL though, only in college. 1) College plays mostly man defense, NFL zone. So you can look left all day long if that's where you're throwing *in college.* They can't ignore the deep threat because of an underneath one. But in the NFL at some point Fields has to look away from where the clearing route is sent. What happens when he looks back & sees an Open Receiver? If he has a clear view of them & they're faced directly towards or away from him then fine. If anything else & the play-caller is saying "you're not allowed to throw to This Guy even if he gets open" then Fields has to stop & wait until he can read the open receiver's jersey #. & that's exactly what we started seeing Fields do again this year starting week 4, exactly why they lost to the Cowboys' injured secondary, & the Exact Thing the Steelers cited as why they benched Fields. "He's not throwing to open receivers." Which itself shows that Tomlin is too stupid to realize that it's Smith's orders that Fields is following by doing this. He thinks that Fields, the guy who threw amazing deep passes no other QB could have made in weeks 2 & 3 is too timid to be the QB now. Idiocy abounds in these coaches. Smith saw Fields make those throws & thought *"I thought that* Fields was a terrible QB who needed my guidance & safe play-calls to just be a back-up. I can't allow him to prove me wrong!"
OH NO!!! WE SUCK AGAIN!!
I was never down with Wilson being selected as QB1 ... He is talented.. just not at the right time.
Appreciate the close up view...but id rather see the whole play develop...
Same! The closeup is blurry and I can’t even see the whole shot of the snap and throw, or the field goal kick. Will try another channel. Sorry!
