Worth pointing out that The Masterplan is a collection of B-Sides… Seeing as it is such a fantastic record, it shows what a strong catalogue Oasis have got! Ak wee ess… you got it right (Acquiesce)
Oasis is an incredible band , they never been Americans cup of tea can't understand why. They have the songs , they have the groove and the sound . Thanks for the video I've subscribed immediately. Loved the story about how you got to like the band . Cheers
Thanks for watching!!! I got there in the end… took a while but it’s one of those things where you just have to be in the right head space sometimes to “get” it. That’s what happened and I’m glad it happened cos I freakin’ love them now. Funny how that stuff happens. Rock on and cheers to you!
In the 90's if you were a rock/grunge kid like myself Oasis were a bit sad, but history has been kind to them, and I wished to god rock music was as good today as the first 3/4 Oasis albums. Went to see Noel last month on his UK tour and the show and songs were just fucking epic..
Oasis made me learn to play guitar - I was 13 when wonderwall came out and I was like “I have to play this”, and that was it. I then got in to punk (old and new) and my tastes got more eclectic from there.
Learning to play Oasis songs is something I’ve never tried to do but those songs are so damn good and wonderwall is definitely a great example of the less is more approach to song writing. It’s quite genius really.
Despised them at first for a long time...thought they were bargain basement Stone Roses...thought the Gallaghers were massive wankers but I'm fully on board now. Eventually realised it's great Rock'n'Roll.
Exactly! Regardless of the members of the band and what not, the songs are just so freakin’ good they’re hard to ignore. I was stupid and naive at the start cos I was so into that 90s punk thing that I just didn’t care for anything else but yeah, 2002 and my opinion changed completely.
Oasis were kinda punk when punk was dead as they constantly did the punk ethos but then got absolutely huge. I'm surprised that you got 'High Visibility' in HMV!
It's never too late to get into Oasis! My first, and still favourite band.

Never landed in USA because they’re such massive dickheads… Which is the very reason why we love them so much in England 😂😂😂

Those albums all hold up so well against anything else going. I can’t believe it took me so long to get it. But at least i got there in the end.
