Enlightened never charge any fees to others for enlightenment. But religious preacher does
Indeed, and Jiddu was born into vast wealth. He gave it away and chose to spend the rest of his life travelling the world and discussing life with anyone who wanted to, as well as discussing things with scientists, psychologists and politicians and so on. I have seen the usual sly articles trying to suggest he was some con artist making an easy life for himself by tricking people...he was a multi-millionaire from birth and gave it all away. He didn't have to do any of this, let alone dedicate his entire life to it. He lived wherever people would put him up while travelling, he had a small team who helped record his talks and publish them along with his writings, and any donations they got were used for setting up schools. He was even donated a whole estate and gave it away for use as a school.@@westnewstrending-usukeu8338
Enlightened beings don't think to much of themselves because they know we are only one the ego don't play a part on them anymore they can see the oneness in its totality
@@walter_foxx Yes Sir. The word “Enlightened” can be pretty tricky to comprehend especially becoz of the preconceived connotations floating around in the market. I've used this word consciously in a very very practical sense.

Well, I agree he answered the question in a coherent manner, that is, with integrity.. and you are writing in admiration of him which is I think in order. But I hope you don't mind me shedding light on one thing here.. in saying that he 'answered like a Buddha' you are in fact doing what Krishnamurti himself avoids doing and that is to compare himself to Buddha.
By saying he 'answered like a Buddha' you are comparing him to a Buddha and therefore, I am sure involuntarily, you are actually 'betraying' Krishnamurti's stated ethos.

This man was my next door neighbor in Ojai, CA when I lived in the East End on McAndrew Rd from 83'-86'. I worked for his foundation as a parking attendant during his summer seminars. I knew he was an important person but didn't realize just how important he was until many years later.

I did on occasion. Mainly just morning greetings when I would hastily drive out of our driveway and head for school. He would often walk along McAndrew with his body guards. One time he did ask me to move my pot plants that were behind the Center's property back over to my side lol. I obliged of course but was cool with me and my teenage love affair with 420.

If you mean "obedient" I was indeed a rebel and I was NOT obedient to the ridiculous War on Drugs laws that were terrifying the people with harsh penalties for using any substances not accepted by the corporations and their corrupt politicans. As a 17 year old stoner in the middle of a Nazi like change of laws that made normal people like myself criminals for no good reason other than to repress and control. From a state of love, there is only acceptance. There is no contrast. No room for comparison. Pure love is total acceptance.
This is all of us, our natural state.
To achieve this, is not to become.
But to remove. Remove the mask.
Thoughts exists outside of us not within.
To not associate any Thought with our natural state of being, is enlightenment.

I love the flinch as a reaction to a flat out wrong, or being generous, a misunderstood statement. I feel this breed of energetic or interpersonal exchange happens in a lot of our society. The ones who know truth, are often times the most shunned and the ones who are most shunned (whether they know or not,) are the ones who absolutely flinch at misunderstandings in this manner.
The jewels given by krisnamurti is beyond this world. He is a Portal to behold.
Comparison is the thief of joy.

Krishnamurti Didn’t answer the question like politicians. It’s a simple question.
And this guy thinks he can point out mistakes in the thought process of even the legendary mathematician Ramanujan.
