I agree. He didn’t seem settled. Like maybe something caused him to be late, or he had to wait for a late start or possibly he has to leave as soon as possibly for something else.
If you have watched all of Brysons videos you would know he is a numbers guy. He was frustrated not hitting those numbers. The host needs to not wait to ask his questions right before he's going to hit. Bryson is concentrating on hitting the challenge. He is competitive in hitting that challenge. Ask the questions after he hits.
Same thought. He's alwaysa just so concentrated and competitive when hitting a golf ball, when the numbers go off, he just can't let go but figure out what is wrong immediately.
@thegamingrelish9272 I believe this is why Bryson and Cobra split. He kept trying to get them to make clubs, especially his driver, a certain way to exhibit certain performance characteristics that were opposite to what most manufacturers design their clubs to exhibit. Cobra either didn't want to, or claimed it was impossible. Then after the split he started finding success with other brands, and even clubs that he personally designed, that were designed to perform the way he wanted them to.
@@thegamingrelish9272back in the day, the draw produced the distance needed to play the game (draws naturally go farther than fades). This was because a fade produced so much spin that it was basically impossible to play. Equipment these days is so good at producing distance and low spin, that most players play a fade to get more control. Higher launch, more spin, quicker to stop. But what Bryson just talked about, I’m not sure and I’d love to go down that rabbit hole. He knows a thing or two that very few others know. But I don’t think he’s going to let it out of the bag for a loooong time 😅
2:45 he said he likes to exhurt as much energy as possible, not finagle stuff, I feel that way all the time, works for my game to go hard rather than finess shots, especially longer shots.

You could make this video more interesting by giving incentives for making certain yardages and penalties for others. Hit it 180 to 190 for $5,000 to charity. Hit it 190 to 200 and lose it all. Double the prize money with each shot.
Most amateurs are way better off going with the longer club and taking a bit off then trying to hit the shorter club and smoke it. Don’t try to copy Bryson. He’s a different breed
The golf digest guy is quick to ask questions about distance control, but has no interest in going into how drastically a millimeter of strike on the face can effect spin and launch especially with a guy like Bryson where miniscule amounts equal 10-20 yard differences of end distance. Wow, what a camera view of Bryson's talent. I watch him on his UA-cam channel often, but this exhibition shows just how talented this young man is.
He’s top 3 in the world.
LOL, Bryson’s expression when he learns that he doesn’t get to choose the distances: 1:25. 😂❤

That “controversial“ topic was a topic to pursue. But since Golf Digest is basically owned by the manufacturers (via advertising), it wasn’t pursued.
Can someone explain to me what makes it controversial. I haven’t heard about the difference of a low spiny fade vs a low spiny draw.

205 yards with an 8 iron.
Sick.😮
well its a 6 iron loft if that makes you feel any better lol

Can you include trackman numbers on the screen and the spin rates next time please.

235 - 6 iron!! That’s my driver.
Scoreboard at the end of the video ?
That is amazing!
I wonder how consistent his spin would be with blades. My guess is, it would be more consistent than with those hollow body irons.
Apparently the hollow bodies bring down his spin which is what he wants
He’s right in that contrary to popular belief, you can hit spinny draws and low spinning fades.
bryson doesn't hit a hybrid 250 yards on the dot and he says embarrassing
