I’ve rented my primary home before, but not for short stays like on Airbnb. A 30-day minimum stay is my requirement. It makes traveling easier. All the best!

I would’ve built a tiny home on the property and used it as an Airbnb. That way I wasn’t using my primary residence unless I was planning on using another location as my primary. But I’ll defer to Jackie, how is she feeling about this? ❤

Same… those 8am classes in college definitely introduced me to coffee as well 😂 and same max!!! Coffee is such a none negotiable in my morning but I struggle with everything else. I’ve been trying to use coffee as a reward after I’ve done my workout and meditation sometimes to keep me on track

Same thing happens to me when I clean, Maya. You may be allergic to dust. I’ve started cleaning with a mask on (and my glasses bc it also bothers my eyes) It’s helped so much.

When you put it up on AirBnb make sure you take your family photos down and make some of the decor (like on the fridge) more neutral. Sometimes it's charming but could also be a bit creepy to stay in an AirBnb that felt like someone else's house in that way even though you know that it is.

I have a dream of one day owning a property that we can turn into a bed and breakfast too! A good airbnb experience can go a long way compared to a hotel experience. I hope you are blessed with cool and respectful renters.

Hi Max! I know y'all are very eco conscious, so I wanted to encourage you to look into the water and energy consumption practices per inquiry of the data centers that power AI and chatgpt.
I would never let my primary residence be an AirBnB. I don't want the random energy by others being brought into my home. AirBnBs are for rental properties. I don't want strangers in my personal space, doing whatever. My home is sacred to me and others may not feel the same respect towards something they are only paying to use for a short space of time. You're not gone long enough for you to loan out your family home like that. Consider an investment property. Peoples' life styles are shockingly varied and like hotel rooms, they don't always respect a space like you would respect a space.
They’re not asking you for your suggestions.. and who cares what you would never do..
Very valid concern. I had the same worry when I used my primary home as an Airbnb (both renting a room and the whole house when I travelled). But honestly I’ve had nothing but beautiful experiences. I love seeing how other’s experience what I’ve created and having a visitor’s perspective refresh my love for the home. And there are ways to keep some things and spaces you just for your own use.
I hope this doesn’t come off as an invalidation. This is *not* for everyone. Just another perspective to add to the conversation.
I follow other UA-camrs who do just that successfully.

Because they live in Sweden, their adress is already public information and very easy to access. Most Swedish celebrities' addresses are available online through a simple google search, even big international stars like Stellan Skarsgård. I think Maya and Max will be fine.
