Thank you. 2004 Impala. Got good starter, alternator, and good battery. Because I did get them on checked. But she won't crank over got dash lights everything try to crank it over, all the lights and everything go out but no start.
I check the fuse, Checked the relay, Jumped the pins, Put gear sector in nutural, Worked one each time, Also got a good charge on the battery, Now everything shuts off but no dead battery click sound
I have a 2005 Chevy impala, I checked all of my fuses to make sure they were good, at the dash controls the AC light appears to go on and the fan goes on, however the climate fan control seems to come off and on randomly, but the AC clutch does not engage, I pulled the relay and set power to the top right hand terminal and the compressor engaged but no cold air, I attempted to charge ac but it doesn't seem to be taking in the freon. It shows almost empty.. what can I try next?
I have a 2004 impala, I was driving and the serpentine belt was wearing down and start flapping and hit the wire harness and the car cut off, but it still had powerful no start, one wire broke off the harness and I put it back on I did the starter test from the crank relay and it's good, just wondering what else it could be??
Yeah thanks… I tried all that; car started at first by wiggling relay while a buddy turned the key. Now that doesn’t work! All comes on except no turn over… no crank. No nothing but battery operated perks. I am at a loss why my car does this now and then… any ideas?!
I'm currently working on a 2002 Chevy impala I've had issues with the starter I would assume the key gets stuck sometimes and then I have to jumpstart it every time I wanna go somewhere so this should help me I'm looking for any advice
If you get the 10 amps to the fuse in the left fuse panel, it means your ignition switch is good to the PCM. Next, take a test light under your car, put the clamp end on a ground and the probe end to the small wire on the starter. Have someone try to start the car. You should have 12+ volts to that wire. If voltage is present, you know the wiring from the ignition switch to the starter is good. This isolates the starter itself is the problem.
Absolutely fantastic shortcuts for troubleshooting. This video is also good for the Monte Carlo since all of the fuseboxes appear to be the same.

Ignition switch was changed out bout 5y ago. Gonna try these fuse stuff first before going to get another switch 👍🏾
I check the fuse,

Put gear sector in nutural,
Worked one each time,
Also got a good charge on the battery,

Great instructional video…..thanks!
On a 2002 chev impla the car gets hot and go's dead but you can start the car back up

very good, Thanks!
Mine won't crank unless I jump it over like you did. It fires up, but won't stay running for about 2 seconds.

Having the same problem right now, any luck figuring it out?
Check the fuseable links
My fusible link burned. What would cause that?
Is there an inline fuse?
How do I know if it's my key lock cylinder or my ignition switch behind the key
Ignition switch is good unless you lose the key
My Impala starts when I touch the pliers to the pins in the fuse box but shuts right back off
Mine is doing this now.. did you figure out why?
Did that but the starter started smoking
Any body know if I have to dosconect battery to mess with fused
no
I reconnected my negative terminal cable and the car starts on its own didn't do it last time I reconnected it please help

I have a brand new battery just purchased about three months ago
What size litre engine? Is there a 3.8 ltre and a 3.4 ltre for that year-they may have different parts?
I'm sure it's a 3.4 I have the same vehicle and it's the same
What happens if you get power to the 10amp fuse when turning the key? Thanks!
