  • Any radon level poses some health risk. While it’s not possible to reduce radon to zero, the best approach is to lower the radon level as much as possible. The Environmental Protection Agency has set the action level at 4 pCi/L (picocuries of radon per liter of air). The Minnesota Department of Health recommends installing a radon mitigation system when the radon level is at 4 pCi/L or higher. Between 2 and 4 pCi/L, you might consider a radon mitigation system to lower the level as much as possible.
Standard Water is certified as a radon mitigation specialist, and we’ve installed radon mitigation systems in hundreds of homes.
