I really like Billy Idol a lot, but honestly prefer D.O.A. version of this song. His isn't bad, but it's missing something and it's very slow in comparison.
I love Billy Idol and especially Generation X, but it's not nearly as good as the original. He was probably using a lot of drugs at this point in his career.
The election of Donald Trump brought me here out of horror but I've always been a Billy Idol fan. I wouldn't say his cover was good or bad but it was a very interesting take on an old classic, even though he left out the last verse about Red China and Selma, Alabama.

If the politicians Capital Hill have any common sense his ass should get Impeached any day now!
