Roller Slide: How to Build

How to build a roller slide. I have built two homemade roller slides. This video shows how to build a backyard roller slide in a more economical way. These slides are popular at fall festivals. This guide shows all the steps on how to build this slide using 2" pvc pipe and treated lumber.Children love this slide. Sometimes this is called a rolling pipe slide. This method shows how to save a lot of money using this method. I’m an engineer building an amusement park in my backyard on a lake. Actually the paint did stick on rollers but I thought it wouldn’t in video.

You could also run a strip of 1x4 or something similar on top of the 2x4 just to cover the holes up help keep little fingers out and keep wasps out. Great build outwise thanks for sharing

Thanks. That is a good idea. Had the one at my house a couple years. For some reason wasps don’t seem to like it. They like a lot of other things though.
