Hiroshima Lantern Ceremony, August 6 Anniversary

With the official ceremonies over, as the day turns to dusk at the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Park, families make their way to the Motoyasu River. By the time night falls, thousands will have gathered to pay their respects, as they float lanterns and send messages of peace.
