Sadly, Gary was a walking disaster area at Stoke City, spent big bucks parachute monies on a number of poor, poor players, Like for example, Benik Afobe, who literally could not trap a bag of Cement (this I witnessed) . Tom Ince another top dollar one trick pony with a famous dad was another of Gary's disastrous signings that cost a fortune, had a ridiculous contract and wages that were financially crippling ( to be corrected.)
We should not be struggleing full stop, stopping up should not be seen as a achievement. Just shows how bad recruitment has been on and off the pitch that we are so desperate now.@@andywhalley3669
You were to blame you were in a dream position You had a 50m budget We should have bounced straight back up You were to blame you wasted our money on Afobe Tom Ince and who on earth authorised the purchase of McLean . That vile divisive man caused so much trouble as he did at every other club he was at he should never have been anywhere near our club So after you wasted all of our budget we have been playing catch up ever since
I don't know many managers who got the budget you did at stoke and flop so badly no clear direction just buy previous has beens who got promoted with other teams and it didn't work
Suppose it's Birminghams fault and wrong place wrong time and blab blah blah no your football is a dry as white wine you splash money with no clear direction if we had anyone else other than you to begin with we never would have been the position we have recently cause since then we have been running up hill ever since and now they have finally turned a corner come on you potters

@user-xw6lm4un3s just an awful time for all concerned. On top dollar, he made that very clear, he could not even do the basics on the pitch either.
He spent over £50m on crap, terrible signings hardly any worth it. Very responsible for the state they are currently in.
I disagree. He got sacked when we were mid table, the best any managers done for us in the championship, bar O'Neil for keeping us up.

No one knows the club better than the fans and he turned on them. That’s what cost him the job.

You should have stayed at derby, i thought you did well there
I don’t think Rowett was given enough time.
Get a grip. Bloke was and still is a dog shit manager. Way out of his depth.
It's a shame when managers don't get the chance to fully implement their ideas.
