Making Sugar Eggs

A tutorial on the process of making decoratve eggs out of sugar (with a window and Easter themed scene inside). This tutorial includes the molding and decorating techniques; making royal icing, candy decorations, piping and finishing decor, and constructing the complete (and completely edible) project. The 3 day project is condensed into a 23 minute video. A traditional Easter project you can do to bring fun and meaning to your children.

These are beautiful. The sugar/candy eggs we have in Australia are very crisp and hard. The candy is really smooth and often flavoured - peppermint, musk etc. These sugar eggs look like they're granular. I'd love to know, do they harden smooth like ours? PS I love your little animals
