- Progress has been slow on the Toyota Soarer / Lexus SC400, mostly because it was in really bad shape! With the painting done, it was time to start looking at the wheels. We got these awesome Work VS-XX wheels with the project, but they were in desperate need of repair! Our guys at Tyre Hanger / TH Components came to the rescue and added some secret sauce!

It had Lexus badges probably because the owner in Japan liked usdm market parts. We got Lexus SC’s and everyone else got soarers, the griffin badge on a soarer is way more unique
great video thanks, U just got my soarer project and put new wheels on it, however, I did not turn off the air suspension when I jacked it up and now it looks crap because the ride height changed, struggling to find how to reset on forums, anyway I love your car and these wheels thanks for the great commenatary

What is that size and offset rim? I got a soarer with fender flairs from nstlyle customs and looking for an offset like that but it’s hard to find used stuff! Pricing out new ones will run me more then the car but man that looks good and will be watching your guys Chanel.
All right hand drive Soarers are Japanese, but it was common for Japanes owners, and when a Soarer was imported to the UK or Ireland, for the owners to swap the badges to Lexus as Lexus is seen more as a luxury brand. My Soarer had Lexus badges on it when I bought it, they didn't stay on there for long.

Ngl I’ve always like the sc/soarer more than the mk4 supra(mk3’s and older are dope af tho). Just a little classier and cleaner imo, and the purple on this came out absolutely perfect, I’m jealous lol my car is three different shades of body kit and overfenders 😂

What number UZZ32 soarer chassis is this Soarer? Should be UZZ32-0001XXX they are a very rare car, I have one of the only few hundred made.

Great progress...but the impatience isn't showing the car off to its best ability.......will be MUCH better with a decent polish and the kit and remaining parts fitted......

The wheels are awesome but, personally I don’t think they go with the purple. It might be better once the car is finished so I will reserve final judgment till then. No masks at the wheel place or tyre place ? 👍🏽😎

Hmmm... Maybe you should do an E36 project next, that will give you a boost of views and some profit from adverts (I really don't know why this video has been viewed over 1.1m times. There's a lot of much better vids on your channel, that deserve big numbers)
It's the mystery of UA-cam, some vids just go mad for no reason and others don't. It's hard to figure out why? We could make an E36 vid and it could do nothing. Also, we don't want to just do things for views as we want to stay a little true to ourselves.

The reason it has Lexus badges on it is because Japanese people think it's cool. Would be just like an American putting a Soarer badge on their SC300/SC400 because it's more JDM. My Soarer also had the Lexus badges when I got it (seems common). The frustrating thing is it's a 1jzgte Soarer but everybody keeps saying cool SC300 bro even thought SC300 never came out in Australia........

Toyota/ lexus same thing look up why Toyota started maken lexus so the could export more cars to united States, lexus - limited edition export United States, Toyota was only allowed to export so many cars to usa so made a separate company to export more into it
