Carla, you might not have a lot of money in this gift, but, you have something better. You have your time and thoughtfulness and talent. If someone gave me a book they had taken the time and effort to decorate like this, I would be really honored. What a wonderful idea for a gift! Thank you for sharing this with us and God bless you, too.
You come up with such interesting ideas. I never would have thought about doing something like this. Many blessings, Carla. Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas with us.
Hi Carla dear sweet friend. I love these diys. This is such an, economical gift with such an impact. Love the distressing on the edges and the layered look. Nicely Done . TYFS your incredible talent . (Pauline S)
These are beautiful books! I have plenty of scrapbook papers, so I will give this a try. I make handmade journals, but have never covered a regular book. I ove them both, not sure which is my favorite. Thank you! ❤️
Thanks, Shelia🥰 I’ve considered doing more videos pertaining to junk journaling, but wasn’t sure about it. I don’t know how many would actually be interested in it. What do you do with your journals when they’re finished?
@@thepapertrail8893 I think people would be interested in the junk journals, I know I am. I make them for different uses, prayer journals, travel journals, everyday writing/diary and scripture writing/Bible study journals. I use all of these, I give them as gifts. This past year, I began making my scripture writing journals as seasonals, so I had something different, without doing the monthly ones that I had been doing for ages. I have sold a few, purely by chance! I was finishing one journal up by making and adding a beaded dangle to it and a lady walked up and asked me how much I would sell it to her for. I had no idea since I had never sold one, so she offered me $75 for it and I took it. 😂 I think you should try doing the junk journals and see how others respond, but I think they will love them.

Thank you, Shelia. I think I’ll do that, and see how it goes. Wow! $75! That’s amazing! You must do great work!
@@thepapertrail8893 yes, give it a try! Not sure about that, but I try. 😆
