I much prefer your method from 7 years ago. I did the opposite, I started there but in the end I prefer Rizzuto to fluoro. The difference is that I also tighten the excess braid before the half knot, the tightening is much stronger. 1 thread will tighten the go side of the braid and the other will tighten the return. I manage to do mini FGs of only 8 turns Especially for thin diameters, PE0.6 to 1 For larger diameters I prefer around 15 turns. So weaving the FG, tightening "before the keys" by pulling on one thread after the other of the braid (much stronger tightening guaranteed) finishing a key + Rizutto 5 turns. Moderate tightening of the excess braid with the braid of the other, mushroom on the fluoro, slight tightening of the fluoro/braid line, the rizzuto comes up against the mushroom, perfect!

Great explanation. I very pleased you found what works well. Tight lines mate
@@Le_person_au Tight line yes!!
From the moment you make a FG properly, that's all that matters, this knot is magnificent!
Good video but your original tutorial from 7 years ago is better. I go back to the original for refreshing often. Thanks for sharing
I want to try it, but i need a better background to see it hhaha
