this was the movie that showed everyone within SHIELD and the MCU that, indeed, Captain America is an absolute THREAT if he's not on your side.

@@MOONPOPPERS capt. america is a level 6 and fury is level 10 or 11. agents of shield let you know this as coulson is level 8 and states the avengers are level 6.

I like how Captain America didn't even know what "fondue" was back in the first movie, which led to an awkward moment with Agent Carter, and now he speaks fluent French!

they gave up the sceptre in Avengers at last to shield which then took over by hydra so technically its under hydras experiment...
The device Fury used to cut through the road is a reference to his Star Wars character's lightsaber.

@@MOONPOPPERS yes. it was made as a prototype that never went into production and he kept it for himself.it's name is called the "mouse hole" and was made by one of coulson's tech guys. another reason to react to agents of shield. as this , the mask, and a few others i won't spoil are many of the tie ins to the movies. also the battering ram they used on the suv is used later on by coulson in the series. the shot fury gave himself in the suv is a rapid bone healing shot that aos turns into a pill form used in the series.
We should all live our lives in a way to ensure we never get kicked by Captain America. Wheelchair and dialysis for life. Damn, he kicks hard! lol

This is a very stressful movie to watch. That's what makes this movie so good. Love the reaction on this one. This is seen as the best MCU movie by a lot of people. This is a spy thriller through and through.
The secret hero of the movie is the launch tech who refused to launch the Helicarriers. His delay allowed Cap just enough time to complete the mission.
When Sitwell gives names Project Insight targets one is Steven Strange. Feel bad for Sitwell. He liked him. He seemed more like a joiner than a believer. Could have been hope for him. Thanks Bucky.
"The path of the righteous man . . . " On Fury's tombstone is a reference to the role Sam Jackson played in Pulp Fiction. His character Jewels used Ezekiel 25:17.

If you haven't seen the movie it is a must see. It is 'Quintessential' Tarantino.
Okay, I agree this is my favorite Super-Hero film of all-time, but one thing I rarely see mentioned is that the entire second season of "Agents of SHIELD" (the TV sseries) is them ealing with the fallout of this movie. It's excellent, and will give you a bit of a fix for you hunger for more on this story. Captain America: Cilvil War is past this storyline, and of course, it's exellent in every way, but I think you'd have fun with seeing all the SHIELD agents dealing with all of the problems caused by this movie.
Remember the little kid that noticed Cap in the museum. He'll make another appearance.

I love the dynamic of KP’s authentic first time reaction vs Nico’s fake gaslighting acting surprised though he does spoil some good lines & plot points just before sometimes.

Great reaction! This movie had one of the most compelling and complex plots of all of the super hero movies, with two big twists in the reveal of Bucky and Nick Fury turning out to be alive. Great movie. Looking forward to the rest of the MCU reactions.

It's not just winter soldiers metal arm if it was just his arm then Cap would be able to fight him easily but Bucky is also a super soldier which makes him Caps equal

For me it goes Avengers 4-Endgame (is actually my Favorite movie of All Time) Avengers 3-Infinity War is 2nd Spider Man 3-No Way Home is 3rd Doctor Strange 2-in the Multiverse of Madness is 4Th and I have Thor 3-Ragnarok and Captain America 3-Civil War both at #5

This movie right here is what made cap my favorite avenger of all time . I had no idea when I was a kid that cap was this awesome . So I switched from an Ironman fan to a cap fan ever since lol .

@@MOONPOPPERS yessss, that's also why he survived the fall. remember when Cap rescued Bucky, he was the only one not in a cage, but lying down on a bed. he was basically kinda a super soldier at that point, just not fully. he survived the fall because the operation already started with him.

why are you surprised that he is strong, because he was injected with the same serum as the Hulk himself, only it works differently for the Hulk

Bucky isn't evil or apart of Hydra willingly, he was taken by Hydra and then basically tortured and abused, even brainwashed into "The Winter Soldier." this perfect soldier to do their bidding, a mindless person that they can control and he cant fight them back because they'll just shock it out of him, making him forget all over again and send him out after keeping him on ice for long periods of time hence why he's called "The Winter Soldier."
James Buchanan Barnes is a good man deep down, always has been and he was taken advantage of by an evil organization. He's a victim in all this, plain and simple even Stan Lee told Sebastian Stan that Bucky is a good guy.
Also Steve isn't about to kill or leave Bucky, he's Steve's best friend, his brother so that's why he tries to get Bucky to remember who he is and doesn't want to fight him and Bucky doesn't either as he doesn't want to get in trouble with Hydra again and get his memory wiped again so that's why he resists until Steve pushes Bucky to start punching him until Steve says "I'm with you till the end of the line." which makes Bucky stop and you see the shocked look on his face like that phrase clicked in him because he's the one that said it to Steve first which is why he saves Steve, gets him out of the water and waits to see if he's breathing before walking away and then shows up at the museum, looking up himself and find out about who he is and his past and how that ties in with Steve.
Fury is not dead.
Top three Marvel movies for me. Russo Brothers directed the best of the MCU.
