    I actually learned through speech therapy that I've been breathing incorrectly for the 2 years prior. I was breathing shallowly all the time, which not only made it painful to speak more than a few sentences a day, but also increased my anxiety and made it an incredibly exhausting task to come down from the daily panic attacks my last year at university oh so graciously gifted me with. Ever since going to speech therapy and literally learning how to breathe again, I can speak for hours, I can sing, even scream with barely any pain at all. It hurts less when I exercise, and I can successfully soothe myself down from panic attacks (of course with the help of others CBT tools from therapy), all with a little help from some good ol' oxygen.
    All that is to say, air is an amazing tool, it just depends on how you use it.
    Please remember to breathe responsibly.

    Hello there! I work at Air, and have actually spoken directly with the CEO of Air on a lot of what you mention in this video. We're so glad you could review our product. We here at Air have been quite happy with the product we've been producing over the past few billion years, but I'd like to shed some light on some of the points you made in this video. However, I first must clarify that for legal reasons, my identity will stay anonymous, and that my opinions do not in any way reflect the views of Air or the CEO of Air.
    As for why air goes in the same hole as food, this in an issue we constantly ran into in beta testing, and we've tried cooperating with the makers of Body on this problem, but they have historically been hard to work with, as they have no reason to improve the user experience since Body's product is mandated by Biology at birth. Although there have been a few notable attempts by Body to improve their product, most of the successful innovations have been in their brain department, and even then the success rate has not been great, and they never seem to build on the successes they do have. It would be nice for Body to actually get a meaningful competitor one of these days, as I hear that scientists are looking into making bionics a possibility, but even then I doubt Body would lose that contract.
    As for why Air slowly poisons its user, while I would like to blame Body again for its anti consumer design flaws, this is unfortunately a side effect of Air that we were just never able to buff out. I wish this was something we could fix today, but the fixed deadline of when animals would first walk on land was approaching too quickly, and we eventually had to ship out the trees, flaws and all. To recall plant life now for a hardware update could prove hazardous for our userbase who rely heavily on Air.
    I hope this cleared up some of your concerns! We here at Air hope to keep up production for eons to come!

    • @ExoNova
      @ExoNova 4 роки тому +12

      @@wubbawubba3396 From my understanding, respiration is what gives cells energy. Therefore I think all cells in most creatures will respire constantly to give them the energy they need (there may be exceptions, I don't know). To respire aerobically (I won't go into anaerobic), they need oxygen and stored energy, usually in the form of glucose. The equation goes something like
      Glucose + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water
      But living things need to be able to get this glucose to gain energy to live. Animals get it by eating thins and plants get it by photosynthesis. Photosynthesis essentially reverses the reaction but can only work in sunlight.
      Carbon dioxide + water -> glucose + oxygen
      This is faster than respiration so the plants can build up glucose stores for the night when it still needs to respire. People say plants "breathe out carbon dioxide" and yes this is true in the day, but they also breathe out some oxygen during the day and night due to respiration. Hope this helps, if you need more info I'm happy to answer questions.

      Yeah, but if finishing the entire game is what it takes to ‘fully appreciate’ or understand air, I don’t think that makes it a very effective review.
      A lot of people don’t want to invest 86 years into experiencing the full extent of air and would rather know what air is like in the early-mid game.
      Ofc, I don’t think anybody should spend 5 years with air and suddenly start leaving a bad review but if they do, it’s likely just because air isn’t for them. It’s very difficult to please everybody, so it’s impressive that over 99.6% of people have high opinions of air.
