Hey man! I must say ,you are so good to explain in depth how builds work. Many other i seen miss this out. And you talk calm and secure. I tried your FLAY build a few days ago, just to see if i could take down the tormented bosses on my barb, worked liked a charm, my gear had mostly masters to 4 or so. Just turning to bleeding WW and although I don’t have Tyrell’s might I will, over time, get all master worked to 12. Getting gear to 12 made a huge difference on my bleeding bash build. I ran through lvl 71 pit with relative easy on gear not even close to being optimized. Thank you for the tip on spamming DD’s by not keeping the WW pressed…. I will see how that goes. Great work, appreciate the time taken to explain and give alternatives if you don’t have Ubers.

@@cliptis86 ah, ok got it. Thank you for the quick reply. I am running your build and am liking it a lot. A few issues with keeping berserking to kill the bosses at 101 pit it’s more than likely because I’m only at masterwork in 8 on everything. Still wondering if I can ever find a tyraels…
@TheWolv69 hey berserking can be maintained on bosses by hitting it with leap. Leap causes berserking when you hit at least 1 enemy with it.
been using Rob's WW build for quite sometime.....after changing to this build, 90 second Pit101 is easy to achieve..my full buff attack power can go as high as 223k (i swap inner calm to neck).......thanks dude

Nice build... One thing, I put Giant Strides on my ring. 10% for inner in nice but permanent leap on a speed farm build helps even more

I do so my builds at masterworking 12. Even if the piece of gear has no GAs or it's bricked but I need to I go to 12.
@@TheStudio_70In my case I'm just climbing the pit levels along with the masterworking... But even with the non-ubers being under 925 levels (pants at 875 for instance) I'm getting through pit 89 in under 3.5 minutes with this setup. It's nice having a build for super late endgame as the season enters its last month and some people like my group have run enough tormented bosses and alts to have gotten the sparks to have the Ubers for this. :-)
The 3.5 minutes is only when I have a particularly stubborn boss fight :-). I've done in under 3 minutes routinely. Again, I love the build probably also just because of how fun the playstyle is tearing through at high speed

I'd love to see a pit pushing variant of this build. Bash is great and all. Really have enjoyed it. I'd like to see a Pushing WW build.
Also, I am stubborn and dont have any alts. I'm really not sure about rolling a rogue just to get the tempers, so my stubbornness may be the death of this build.

Hey! Yeah the alt thing is annoying. They are fixing it next season but I got my temper at level 61 in my rogue. It really can't run super well without it and unfortunately even the best WW builds cap out in the mid 135 for pits. Damage isn't there yet to stack bleed.
@@cliptis86hi I complete 141 yesterday with scorcher, and 2:20 left on timer. I think a player better than me and with better gear can do 144-145 with scorcher. I probably try 142 on week as cap for me. Without scorcher I do 139 with Resurrected Malice.

Not sure if this is answered already but i couldnt find an explanation in the video: why vulnerable gems in the weapons. Would the build not be better to have more crit dmg gems in the weapon slots?

Hey I'm shooting for about a 10:1 ration. Vulnerable still multiplies your bleed through the hemorrhage node. I needed a little more vulnerable damage
+Heavy Handed on the amulet is a bonkers multiplier. With a GA triple masterwork crit, it gives me 1200 crit damage, taking it from 4200 to 5400 😮
Yeah I haven't been lucky enough to get one to drop! I've been using my obols on amulets too just hoping hahaha
I accidentally crafted fury per second on my boots and I just left it. Been running it for awhile and it feels way better not needing to worry about fury
It's a good option but it doesn't count towards generating fury for your aspect to summon dust Devils. Fury on kill does.
Gonna have to try this for some end of season fun

Awesome guide! I haven't fully maxed out my paragon points/glyph levels but they decently close. I currently have 60% crit chance, 300 vuln and 2k crit dmg but am doing about 1/10th of the damage you're doing esp with bleed. Feel like Im missing something. That or a little bit more crit damage makes a huge diff? Only have the chest no Grandfather/har/ring
Paragon points, glyphs, masterworking 12, more crit chance, grandfather doubles your crit damage. All of these are not small upgrades. They are massive massive power boosts.

Was surprised to see no Twister Glyph in the paragon board as i was building this. Considering it's damage output at max.
The glyph is currently bugged and you aren't getting the 13% damage increase which is much more damage than the 500% additive. Hopefully they fix it next season.
@@cliptis86 ah, that I did not know. Seems to be a lot more of key mechanics of the game broken this season.

For the boots I think Leap ranks would be better to reduce the leap cooldown, and even better still, Brawling ranks.
Between disembowled and marshal resetting cooldowns, it's up almost all the time. But it can work, I just like the extra damage.

I dont have a shako still, so rocking andariels visage on whirlwind and its pretty cool.
Also put on yens blessing and masterworked damage reduction from close. Shouts pop all the time too which is sweet.

@cliptis86 bleed and poison everything! It procs fairly often. But I had to put amethyst in all my armor slots to get to 9300 so it's lower health.

if you had to pick crit or movement speed on the ammy what would you go with?
Depends on your stats. If you don't have enough crit speed won't do anything but if you have enough then speed is the way to go
Cliptis - really like your videos. Is there a good hybrid build that’s good at speed farming AND pushing the pit (dust devil builds are fun to play but didn’t like Flay … am trying a dual wield dust devil bleed build now)

Why inner calm if we are always moving?
Hey I gave a bunch of options in the aspect section if you want to change it up. I like the constant damage instead of the 50% up and 50% down from elements but I left that as an option for people.

Great video sir, but why are you using Inner Calm on your ring in your build link? I know the build in the link isn't updated to the Leap variant....but why ever take Inner Calm with Whirlwind? Especially when you're giving up Bold Chieftain.
I haven't had any need for bold chieftain with the build. I tested it so many times and the cooldown you get from disembowled is plenty.
Inner calm gives your DD, WW and Tyraels might a 10% multiplicative through the entire run even if you don't get the 30% you always gain 10.

Gf isn't needed and shows double the crit damage, but it isn't scaling properly. Double the crit should do a lot more bleed damage but it's comparable to a 2h sword with crit damage on it and decent aspect, which makes me think something isn't right with it.
If you put the grandfather on and look at your stat line it actually is more than doubling it. I go from 1800 to 3900. Then gushing wounds takes your 3900 x 140× and that's your new bleed damage. It's a significant jump in bleed with a WW build.
@@cliptis86 it doesn't take the full number that GF gives you otherwise it would be substantially greater than a 2h sword with some crit damage on it. I'm not saying it's not a little more, but I've tested it on bash barb with Gushing wounds and a two hand sword with crit damage and crit temper rolled on rogue was pretty close to GF, while being a few thousand less crit damage total.
@chadd.7816 yeah that makes sense. Bash hits so much harder than WW you'll gain so much more bleed from Berserk ripping as a base.

All the pros say 10: crit D to vulnerable I just put on the gear I can find and have fun. You don't need perfect stats to get this up and running just high crit chance
After the Grandfather would you recommend going for Shako or Tys? Or the ring? As far as ubers are concerned.
That's hard, it's up to you really Ty will help spread the damage and clear faster while shako adds more DR, plus resource Gen. Depends on how you feel in your runs.

Hey yeah it does. I showed everyone on live stream tonight a run with only grandfather and it was still around 2 minutes. It does help by spreading bleed everywhere but not necessary
what's better, grandfather or GA polearm (higher base dmg) for WW bleed? is GF better if CHC is >70%, but worse if CHC is < 55%? thanks
Tons of different ways to build builds this season. I'm running a grandfather for this one but it's really up to you.
Isn't there bug that You have additional bleeding damage when berserking BUT only from weapon not from Tyrael's Might and dust devils? I think Rob showed this in his video. Can You confirm that? Great video guide. Thanks.

You'd need the executioner glyph for extra damage. I'll try to get a build guide for no ubers out too.
why not using grandfather as a weapon for ww?
The two-handed sword weapon skill isn't working properly and you gain extra crit damage from a bludgeoning weapon which applies to gushing wounds.
hey clips. i have a question... have you tried to run Conceited Aspect? wouldn't it work since we always have a barrier cause of Iron Skin.. that would be a 25% increase in damage while having a barrier active... just thought i would share. let me know what you think please

Why the Grandfather vs Polearm? You said on another bleed / Crit build polearm was bettee
Hey for Flay polearms is better since flay itself generates bleed. The grandfather is best for this since you're only relying on Berserk ripping. Polearms is only best for none uber set ups. Grandfather is preferred

Is Dust devil damage usefull for these weapons?
Unfortunately not it's just additive damage. If you watch the part with the aspects I explained how the dust devil size actually increases the damage and it's multiplicative and not additive
What if I still don't have a ring of starless skies? Can I replace it with anything else or the damage will shrink significantly?
Hey it won't shrink significantly. I made sure to put a section in the video about ubers in case someone didn't have all of them for anyone reading this that has questions. You will feel it more with the increased resource cost than the damage

how's Inner Calm uptime with WW? seems like elements is way better?
Hey! I went over a couple options for the ring in the video, during the aspect section. I went with 10% constant damage vs 7 seconds of 30% and 7 seconds of 0. When the runs only take 1:30 seconds you spent 45 seconds of that without a buff on.
Why aspect of inner calm? Ww is always moving....
Yeah it is but you always gain 10× even if you're moving and it effects WW, Dust Devils and Tyraels might. If you ran something like elements in a 1:30s run 45s of the run you'd gain no buffs. So inner calm is just a constant source of extra multiplicative damage throughout the entire run.

Yeah but he's using the two-handed sword as the weapon for WW which is not working properly right now. The two-handed mace does a lot more damage if it's set to WW. So the test isn't very viable but like I said they both work so it's really up to you.

Hey! That's a good point. I guess it depends on where your gear lands. You want about a 10:1 ratio of crit d to vulnerable

any idea how could i be missing dexterity for the last board? i copied point for point but my fierce node says 502/540 dexterity and its wont activate.
Are you running a GF and a Shako? The all stats on both should help you get there. Or a single dex gem would give you crit chance too.

Happy Grandma here 😂. Easily clearing T101 in less than 3 minutes with imperfect gear and only 2 Ubers. Farmed sparks for Tyreal’s Might and easily doing T101s at 2 minutes. This is great for me, because I am not as quick as I might have been at one time 😂😂😂. Having fun so continuing to work on improving my gear and master working. (As someone mentioned when I first posted on one of your builds - you do appeal to all demographics 👵🏻

I don't understand how your bleed stacks to such high numbers?
Hey it's gushing wounds. You need to have high crit chance to proc it and then high crit damage. I talk about it at the end of the skill section
@@cliptis86 Yeah i understand that and keeping berserking up which I am doing, just my bleed damage never hits numbers like yours. ive got 4k+% crit damage and 60% crit chance
Yeah with all the new affixes 60% is on the low side. You're only proccing gushing wounds 60% of the time. You want to shoot for 75 to 80%. I talked about how I geared the character and went straight for crit even if the other stats weren't the best. You can also use emeralds in your gear for another 10%
what is the best tempers to hit on masterworking the ring starless skies and grandfather?
Hey! In the planner the yellow and blue dots indicate which masterworking crits you want for the future but starless sky is crit chance and grandfather is max life.

I didn't bring it up but we are running Tyraels Might. It has resistances and with 3 diamonds and resistance all on boots you're maxed. I'm actually at 81%

@@cliptis86 Working on the gear - i need to swap 4 items compared to robs build. I have the feeling yours is better on the Boss but i am way more squishy. And with robs setup i have a 4s War Cry Cooldown when i hit 3 enemies. BUT it has way less bleed on Bosses. I try harder to get better gear :)
Army Ranger one last question if I don’t have the rouge crit temper. What may I use till I get it?
For this build there isn't much. You need the crit damage to Proc bleed. I got my temper at level 61 on my rogue.

@borimex20 I would level a rogue if you want to play the build. You need the crit damage to do any damage with this build. Without it your damage is going to be really low.
what are the resitances like? are they maxed?
I got lucky with masterworking so mine at all at 81
Any idea how far in pit you get with this build ? I know its not a push build. Also can this WW build do tormented boss ?
I've done Lilith with this build and T120 just messing around. I haven't done tormented boss in parties but I think it's less HP than Lilith solo.
Whirlwind peeters out around 130
This is true unless you have amazing gear. I think a couple people Saif (no proof) they've touched the low 140s
Why emeralds in the armor?
Increases your critical strike chance through dexterity which means you proc gushing wounds more often so you do all the bleed. You want at least 75% to 80% crit strike chance.

@krawn7146 the reason you run swords is they have crit damage and that scales with gushing wounds. WW can't overpower so it's just a wasted stat from using a mace. You definitely can use it though

@@cliptis86 yes I switched from someone’s build to yours and I haven’t gotten good rolls yet. Is the maxlife my problem or are there any other I need to change? Plus my masterwork on tyraels is on max resist twice. Now instead of me capping my resistances they’re 71 with a cap of 73 or 4 I think.

If your gear is set up and good enough yes it can but it's not designed to be a boss killer.
So you don't need heavy handed on your amulet?
I do. I put it in the planner, but I haven't found any yet. Eventually, I'll have one with it on. I just haven't been that lucky yet.
How do you have crit damage temperment?
Gotta level a rogue and get the temper manual there and then use the rogue to temper.
So polearm if no GF , what aspect would you recommend on it ? I have the ring and shake but no GF unfortunately
Shoot I forgot the aspect you can run elements or edge masters. Swap the two around
I recommend moving the whirlwind dust devil aspect to the 2h polearm for increased damage.

What is the recommended order of the ubers? I have Shako and GF already, which one should I snag next Starless or Tyrael's?

If you have issues with fury starless sky, if not Tyraels for the AoE bleed.
It seems bleeding doesn’t proc as often when I use 2Hmace vs the grandfather. I don’t have tyriels might chest. Does that have something to do with it?
Do you have Berserk ripping aspect on?
@@cliptis86 yes. I have all the same aspects as you. Only difference is I have rage of harogath chest and I don’t have the Uber unique ring.
@@pjw4125 the it should proc at the same time. Berserk ripping activates when you do and direct damage.
@@cliptis86 something just feels off. Feels like half the things hit by my dust devils don’t bleed and it makes clearing a chore. I will say the single target damage is definitely higher. I’ve heard the Uber unique chest cause bleeding when it hits things with the projectiles. I don’t have that chest though.
@pjw4125 sounds like your critical strike chance is low and gushing wounds isn't proccing. Did you see the part in the video where I covered gushing wounds and how I built my character for it?
If you don’t have the Ubers this build is not even close to dual wield WW build. My boss kills are slower, Pits are 100k plus less.
Yeah I made sure to cover that in the video. There are a lot of builds out there if you don't have the ubers. I made this one for people asking me to make it
Grandfather is the huge multiplier. Other then that be flexible. Maybe he will make a video.. get rid of wrath of bezerker ult for challenging shout= survivability. Throw on yens blessing for DR and regen + 3 doges. Gotta play and be flexible. Move points around as needed

I dont think edgemaster works for DDs and tyreals, they are not skills, edgemaster just buffs the whirlwind damage i think.

@@cliptis86 you need to use elements or calming for a dps aspect (yes calm would only be 10% but its the best we got i think..)
@B455PL4Y3R yeah I run inner calm in the build. I'll definitely test it out tonight. The only problem with elements in a minute and 20 second run 40 seconds of that you don't have any buffs

Yeah I actually talked about other options in the aspect sections and why I had it on. If you wanted to run something else there you definitely have other options. It was just the constant source of damage for me. I move aspects all the time and just put the most constant ones in the planner.
Because your ww isn't your main damage it actually benefits you to use inner calm because it 10x all damage other damage aspects only boost skills or core skill damage which won't do much for this build

You're the second person that's said something about that. What is his build? You can watch my live vods on my channel I made the build with everyone and the paragon board is my own board. I'm guessing aspects are similar?
I've been following Perra for seasons and have seen each version of Perra's WW build evolution on release. Every single part of Perra's build is different; skills, paragon, gems, aspects..... I've tried out 7 different bleed WW builds, 3 with leap. They are all very similar, because there are only so many ways to put a barb build together. Bring up each of the 2 builds side by side... every build tab has differences.
Perra's latest version is a leapquake WW hybrid. Cliptis' is not. Clip uses leap to move faster, not to "fix WW boss damage".

how is your crit chance at 89%? I got ga crit on glove/amulet/1 ring and hit masterworking on them at least once still just around 70 lol
He has emeralds in his armour which increases his dex. Dex was over 1100
Hey yeah I realized I forgot to cover the gems. If you're feeling strong I replaced life gems with dex gems for extra crit. It's about 10% more crit.

I agree. I have taken each of them off and run without them, you do notice a difference but it's still completely doable. I'll do a build without any soon
would be cool if you could make a video on the most efficient way to farm resplendant sparks, farm mats + do torment rotas, or build 12+ ALTs
Yeah that would be cool. I have a good format down for build hours and even th power take me sometimes 4 to 5 hours. I gotta work on seeing those up, finding time to stream, work, record, edit and post comes down to my formatting. I'll look into that next since build guides seem to be working

How can your Dust Devils aspect be so high on amulet? 7207 damage. My max is 5895:/
Hey! Is yours on your amulet and is it maxed out? There are different levels of aspects and until you get a max one it will be lower. Amulets give aspects 1.5% strength c
