    I made these beauties for Christmas. I think it was the pretzels I bought that made them not so good. I did everything the day before and kept the in a cellophane bag, and they were very hard to bite into. Also, I didn't really taste the caramel underneath the chocolate, candy, and other toppings. If I do this again, I would do 1/2 pretzel rods. Thank you for the recipe, and video. I thoroughly enjoy watching the two of you, and I love your aprons.

    Hi, how long do you cook the caramel for on the stove top? would it be ok to add 1/2 evaporated milk into the caramel and microwave it? Thanks! :)

    Can you use ghardeli chocolate wafers to help set it faster?

    There is no wrong way to do a pretzel rod as long as you have all the right ingredients. You can dip it in the chocolate and make them nice, neat and clean, but it's been done so many times. plus she doesn't have OCD which is a great thing. (Laughs)

    Use a piping bag to put the chocolate on so much easier and less mess.

    Next time use a tall glass, you can dip the rod straight in and pull out

    The caramels now come in 11 Oz containers. Do I need to decrease the evaporate milk?

    How do you not get the caramel and wax paper stuck? I tried this last night and I don't know what I did wrong, but all my caramel rods got stuck onto the wax paper. Did I not let the caramel set long enough? They seemed to be hard already so I thought they would be good and ready to be dipped in chocolate. Instead, they all got stuck. It was a huge mess. Please help explain what I might have done wrong. Thank you.

    @Robin you are overreacting!
    It's just a fun thing to do.
    No need to be clean about it.

    OMG!!!!!!!!! She said, "it doesn't have to be perfect". Yes it does and to make it look perfect, it is SO EASY and clean to do though! uuuhhhhggggg she is doing it the wrong way and she is making it look so messy and UN-professional looking! Aggravates me lol
