To make paper tubes divide a sheet of newspaper in 4 parts and roll using a thin needle. 3. Paint these to get colored tubes. 4. From a cardboard cut 2 squares of side 6 cm. 5. Paste one tube each at 3 corners and two tubes at the fourth corner. 6. Paste the other piece of cardboard above this. 7. Use pins to keep it in place until it dries. 8. Cut a bigger square from newspaper and cut the corners. 9. Paste this using glue. 10. Cut another square and paste above this. 11. Paint it and let it dry. 12. At one of the corners we have an extra tube. 13. Bend it along the edge. 14. Then bend the next one along the edge and so on. 15. Weave the vase to appropriate height as required. 16. Apply glue for the last row. 17. Insert the last tube below the tube in front. 18. Apply glue and cut extra length of tubes.
the idea is good but the problem with my vase is that,even if the intersection point is above the centre the shape is not coming out properly.Please give a better explaination.

If the point of intersection is in the centre then the width remains constant. If the point of intersection is below centre then the width decreases. If the point of intersection is above centre then the width increases. See the images at 1:53 in the video. Any further queries are appreciated :)

And you can put real flowers in this vase as well. If you are want to protect the vase from the moisture of flowers, cut the bottom part of a plastic bottle (about 5-6 cm from base) and put it inside while weaving the vase. How many newspapers you used for making this tube?
Around 15 tubes were used and 1 sheet of newspaper is used to make 4 tubes. So, I used about 4 sheets of newspaper.
