I have one !!! I got it from ATC products. It's a great saw. I love it. I like the OD Green colour - It's nature sympathetic. There is a market for Silky products with this same colour. The new Ultimate Pro cuts faster and cleaner than the standard Zubat hand and pole saws which I also have. This new tool is now my go to hand saw. Thank you for making the video.
AWWW man! Really! Thanks Nita! You just made a bad day a happy one. Just in time for peak hurricaine season. Learned so much from you! The great thing about Silky innovation is it never stops. They really care about quality. I live in a salty place, the gulf coast. Keep oil on them, treat them with care and they will perform. You never stop either! Austraila has some tough folks! Thanks for the news. Oh I remember you explaining the proper way to use the pole saws...keeping them straight. The oval shape is stronger if you get a hit. Yep! The Hayate is a fighter! Those branches come down without warning sometimes, never know. Your advise is sound. Thanks and best to all.
Thanks so much for your comment, it takes a lot of time and fear 😂 for us amateur’s to make these videos. Comments like yours really make us feel like it was worthwhile! 😊
I am sorry but my knowledge of the Samurai version is limited. This however is very good for soft to medium-density timbers. For the harder woods, the smaller tooth performs faster. 😊
A great thank you, from France, for all your videos. Sadly, they have become scarce these last years. Idea for a video: comparison between this Zubat Ultimate and Sugoi 330. Actually, I am currently hesitating between these two products... about Sugoi, I am surprised to see different sheaths for model 360, on Silky Europe and various sellers: sometimes it is similar to the one for 330 (with silver top including rollers), and sometimes it is plain orange, very similar to the one for LongBoy pole saw. Which one is the current sheath for Sugoi 360 ???
Hi, yes we have been very slack. We will try to get another one out soon! Your suggestions are great, thank you! Silky has now made all sheaths for the Sugoi the same. With obviously more length for each size. They all will have the silver neck and rollers from now on. The main difference between the Zubat Ultimate and the Sugoi 330mm is the clearing teeth. So if what you are cutting is wet and a medium to soft density timber, I think you will love the new ultimate! 😃 Nita.
@@SILKYsaw Thank you for your answer from the antipodes. A few weeks ago, I bought a Hayauchi for my oaks (not a large piece of land at all, but with big oaks and some other tree species), and your videos have been a great help to choose and use this pole saw.
I've been looking forward to this saw coming out ever since I first saw it on the silky photographer's page early lmao. curious if it's faster than my arborist edition zubat, hopefully I get to try it out sometime here in Canada!
I loved this saw! I did feel as mentioned in the video that this one will win on really sappy wood, but the medium sized dry harder woods, the large tooth zubat may win that race. Just like a butcher, you’ll want a few options in your Pack 😊
@@SILKYsaw oh believe me, I have a pretty wide assortment at this point lol. enough that I don't think I'd be able to justify getting one more to the wife... if only I took worse care of them, I'd be able to get replacements 😂
Your silky saws are awesome at slicing down medium to large trees ☝️ But there are also other great tools for chopping amall to medium trees: 1.) Thai Etoh - cleaves down small to medium sized trees with ease 2.) cuzanga sickle pole - cleaves down banana trees with ease, also some tall small tree branches ☝️
I have been watching your channel dedicated to Silky saws for a long time and with pleasure. Australia for us is something distant and almost unreal. Unfortunately, it so happened that now relations between our countries are not in the best shape. There are objective reasons for this. But believe me, there are normal people here too. It's just that now we are hostages of the criminal authorities, and even at the time of writing this comment, I can fear for the consequences of my statements. However, to the point. There are many forests in Russia, consisting mainly of coniferous trees. Occurs, of course, and oak and birch and other types of wood. I love to travel in the wild away from populated areas, so I need tools to work with wood. Previously, I used a regular saw. This gave me real pain. It took a lot of strength to cut not so big trunks. I decided to correct the situation. After studying the issue, I realized that the Silky saws are exactly what I need. Now I have three Silky saws, namely Gomtaro, Bigboy and Katanaboy 650. I am delighted with these saws! So fast, easy and convenient to cut even large trunks! Much less effort is required to harvest firewood. My favorite saws are the Gomtaro because it is light and compact, you can carry it with you at all times and the Katanaboy 650 is a very productive and powerful saw for large logs. Bigboy is in the middle. But I also love this saw. The fact that Silky continues to improve saws makes me very happy. Perhaps such saw blades will be made not only for the Zubat model, but also for others. Sometimes I dream of Silky making a two-man saw that uses tooth technology found in other Silky saws. It would be just an incredible and powerful tool with a small mass. Thank you for the interesting and cheerful information about Silky products.
Thank you so much for your comment! There is too much suffering in the world today, it is nice to get away from it all and escape into nature isn't it! I am also thrilled that you found Silky and that it has made things a little easier for you. Silky have not yet made any plans to extend the Scrapper tooth range, but I imagine it just might happen, so stay tuned! 😃 Nita
Thank you for your answer too. Yes, there is a lot of suffering in the world now, as, probably, always. Being in the wild, of course, you are somewhat moving away from society. In our case, this brings some relief. Watching birds and looking at the clear starry sky is much better than seeing aggressive militaristic propaganda. I especially like to sit near the fire and just look at the fire without thinking about anything at that time. In order not to often correct the firewood in the fire, it is necessary to use logs of large diameter. Silky saws are very helpful when cutting firewood of this size. There is another aspect. I like silence. Therefore, I do not like it when chainsaws are taken into the forest and sawed with them indiscriminately whatever they want. I am a supporter of careful and attentive attitude to nature. Therefore, a hand tool is preferable for me from an ideological point of view. Almost 6-7 months of the year in my region (Moscow) is winter. It is also cold in autumn and spring. Therefore, I use a folding titanium stove along with a tent. To supply the stove with wood, a small Silky saw, such as Gomtaro, is a must. Sometimes I use the stove in the summer, for example, to cook long-term dishes, fry onions or stew cabbage. Summing up, we can conclude that Silky saws are a real masterpiece of Japanese technical excellence, which can greatly facilitate and simplify many tasks that arise when interacting with wood. Good luck to you and your channel, you are amazing!
This girl has no idea what she's doing. Has no training on this saw and is basically clueless. This is the person that's supposed to convince me to buy this saw 😂
Hey mate, you need to dial it back a couple notches. Nita is quite literally a world class expert on Silky Products, and has proven herself to be an invaluable resource to those of us who use Silkys, professionally, in the bush, or in the yard. If she doesn't know the answer to a question, she'll contact the factory and get back to us promptly. Thank you Nita, and please keep up the great work!

With the OD green, I might actuually buy a Silky saw now....
Bright Orange or Yellow, just is not a Stealthy color
