- Hey FOA. In my last video, some of you suggested that I make stuff peppers with my leftover peppers. So, I did.

Great video Anthony! Here’s a few suggestions:
(1) when I make stuffed peppers, I par-boil the peppers prior to stuffing them to soften them a little.
(2) any leftover stuffing you can use to stuff zucchini boats or tomato boats. Just use a spoon to hollow them out and you won’t have to par-boil them.
(3) the second stuffed pepper you made but didn’t eat can be wrapped in foil and frozen. Let it thaw a little & re-heat in your oven. Delish!
(4) don’t throw away the top of the pepper you cut off…chop the remains and throw into the stuffing mix!
Next time you cook them use a casserole dish if possible and sit the bell peppers in tomato sauce or diced tomatoes. This will help soften the bell peppers.
I said the same thing. Tomato sauce.
I don’t like tomato sauce with this type of dish.
@@FOASQUAD Looked good Anthony! I prefer tomatoes too, but if not use just a LITTLE chicken or beef broth in the dish around the peppers to help soften them.
@@FOASQUADI use a veggie broth. I know some people use chicken or beef broth. Just a small amount & cover them completely before putting cheese on them.
@@FOASQUAD Stuffed Peppers are always served in tomato sauce.
Hello 👋🏾 Anthony and FOAs 🥰Happy Thursday! Why you got me yelling telling you Nooooo, Don't throw away the tops of the peppers! You fill them and cap them back!😅🤣😂🤣at the end they looked so delicious 😋! Everyone have a wonderful night and stay safe out there!💕
Yes Anthony by all means keep the tops of the peppers to cover your filling. It helps hold moisture in and its edible too. 😊you’re a joy to watch.
✨🫑✨Hey Anthony. You could have cut the peppers closer to the top. I was cracking up when you threw out half the pepper. 🤣😂🤣 They looked like they turned out really well. Hugs and much love.✨🫑✨
It kills me when he does that. Peppers are expensive and the part he threw out is perfectly good
Hello again. Instant rice takes 5 minutes to cook and no need to rinse. You are having a blast cooking. I need to post some simple recipes I know you’ll enjoy!!!!! Have fun!!
I thought he didn't need to rinse the Minute rice
Wow! 46 minute video for stuffed peppers !
SQUAD, what's happening?
👋🏽👋🏽
@@thetriniteehey,hey,hey
Heyyyyyy
Heyyy how are you doing . Happy hump day ❤
Heyyyy!! Ilove stuff peppers.
Good afternoon Anthony and to all of the squad! Watching these videos is like hanging out with friends and FOA family! Food is looking good! Best to all.
Stuffed peppers usually have some type of tomato based liquid to them….that’s why they were getting burnt. Also, you usually boil the peppers for 5-6 minutes prior to stuffing them so they soften up.
Great Job Anthony for a first try with your stuffed peppers! * Note* Your new tables sliding back and forth while you are prepping (and / or eating) using your knife looks like an accident waiting to happen! There must be something that you can use or get to stop them from sliding so they are solid in place. Sending you love, light and blessings as always xo
The table have lock notches, but it doesn’t keep it from moving at all. I just have to be careful with it. Thanks
If you put a little broth or spaghetti sauce in the pan and cover it, you can then cook the peppers to your preferred consistency! Now you made want to cook some stuffed peppers!
Hi Anthony. Minute rice is precooked ( or processed). That's why you need less water (1 to 1 instead of 1 to 2) and no need to rinse. The stuffed peppers look wonderful!
Oh that’s good to know. Thanks Green Byrd
Glad to see you doing well Anthony. So true Uncle Ben's rice from the box does not need to be rinsed. Just a friendly tip next time do everything you did, except instead of cooking it in the skillet put all the ingredients in the peppers Raw. It will cook and be tender plus the juices from the meat will really help cook the bell peppers.
@FOASQUAD if you are looking for nutrient value that is the right way to eat the peppers ,peppers not to over cooked because the benefits will be lost and we have to eat healthy
@allisonthomas8099 Yes, we seem to cook all the vitamins and nutrients out, then need supplements like multi vitamin 😀
I am catching up on your old videos Anthony you should have came a long way bless your heart❤❤❤❤😊🫂🫂 We are so proud of you!😊
Our friend blessed us with a long video on tuhday 😂. Love it... Have a great day FOA fam
Anthony, iam not rinsing the rice, ok I am rinsing the rice 😂😂😂 you are a hoot!
I’m on vacation in Brazil 🇧🇷 and yet I still find time to watch my favorite UA-cam channel🙌🏽
I did the same thing when I was camping last year! Lol in my rent with Anthony on the iPad.
1 cup of water for 1 cup of minute rice and no need to rinse, cuz technically its already precooked. The peppers looked wonderful, they get more tender if you have presence of water to steam them while they cook. Its easier to make it in an aluminum pan or pyrex but you have to have it in some liquid to help steam them. I loved stuffed bell peppers. You are also correct about the filling being the most important. You can do soo much with changing up stuffed peppers. interchange cheeses , or even make like a spaghetti bake in the pepper. The sausage is hot so next time just put like 3/4 grnd beef and 1/4 hot sausage. We all can appreciate your menu creations 😊
Hi Anthony 👋👋👋👋 the stuffed peppers looks scrumptious!!!! And yes the leftovers with scrambled eggs 👍 Like always I enjoy your cooking videos ❤
❤Anthony you don't rinse instant rice😅😂Yes one cup rice and one cup water. Instant Rice does not have to cook. Just let it absorb the hot liquid.
Love that you are now eating your whole meal with us and talking about the flavors as you go, I really enjoy it. Also the cooking part. Very relaxing video! Thank you for sharing 😊
If you add some paprika, it will also get some 'browning' to it. I love your setup and all your videos Anthony!! Thank you for bringing us with you.
Hey Anthony if you want the pepper to be soft, you have to par boil them before you fill them OR add some chicken stock, or seasoned water in the bottom of your pan, the steam will cook the pepper.
Ok thank
Well this was interesting. I do my stuff peppers totally different. I cut around the stem take the inside of the pepper out and parboil the peppers until the skin is a little soft. Then I add cooked rice with raw chopped beef into the peppers. I put it in a pot large enough for however many peppers I want and cover it with spaghetti or tomato sauce. I put a lid on it and cook it on a stove top. It does not take that long and the pepper itself is tender.
I cook mine the same way!
Anthony most people don't rinse off minutes rice because it doesn't have a lot of starch. I was yelling no Anthony. lol
Anthony you mentioned Nomadic Introvert in this video. You two are my favorite van lifers. I would love to see you two do a video together love both of you.
That would be an awesome team ! They both are my favorite van life /rvers.
They’re my top two. Anthony then her.
Hey Anthony!!!! I love the new kitchen set up. I’m happy to be able to hear your laugh and jokes. You always make my day or evening whenever I watch you. ❤❤❤❤
You should cover them next time so that the peppers steams and they’ll become that soft texture you were looking for 🧚🏻♀️
Did I miss it? You threw the tops away?? Noooo save them n out on top like lil hats hehehe. I would have put the extra stuffing around the bottom n roasted all of it 😁
So happy for Kathy on the purchase of her beautiful little piece of land, and for getting monetized❤️❤️❤️
Hi Anthony, you did a good job with your stuffed peppers. Now for your tumbler, instead of removing the top in order to take a sip, slide the little opening on the top and take a sip while leaving the entire top in place. Enjoy yourself while we wait for your next video. Love, peace and blessings. ❤️◼️💎✨😘🙏🏾
Sometimes I do that. Sometimes I don’t. I should leave the top on so nothing won’t fall in the cup lol
@@FOASQUAD just don't want any bugs to fly in 😂🤣😂, love you ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Anthony nice to see you as always. Your stuff peppers look amazing, next time if you want your peppers softer you have to blanch them a little bit, what I mean is put them in a pot of water bring it to a boil and then cut it off that will pre-cook them a little bit. Have a blessed rest of your day an i will see you in your next video stay safe a blessing to you my friend ❤
Me yelling COVER IT ANT 😂
Hey Anthony!!!, I love making stuffed bell peppers, to make them soft you have to Blanche the peppers first in boiling water. 😊 I usually top mine with cheese and then place in oven. Everybody does theirs differently but I thought I’d share how I do mine❤
Anthony all that heat doesn’t hurt your stomach. I’d be hurting. 😂
You can put your empty peppers in the oven for a bit, dump out the water that is released, then stuff them. ;-)
Mmmm 😋 what a restaurant-like recipe! You probably took out the peppers out of the oven too soon, nevertheless the recipe is a wowzer!
Yum stuffed peppers!!
Beautiful home you got there Anthony, love the vanpackers install
We cut our peppers in half top to bottom, stuff with meat and cooked rice and seasoning, cook either in the oven or a nice pan like you have.....in a bed of tomato sauce or soup......till the peppers are tender and the meat is cooked through.
I was yelling put the peppers in the oven while you do the filling. Lol
You don’t need to rinse Minute Rice 😂😂😂
It’s precooked (processed), water just rehydrates…😂😂😂😉🤗
I keep the top of the peppers to use them as lids. That way, the meat doesn't turn crunchy while it bakes. I top it off with gouda cheese right on top of the stuffing. Since everything else is cooked, it goes to oven mostly to mealt the cheese. We like the peppers crunchy!!!
With stuffed peppers you want to cover the peppers with olive oil or avocado oil. Cover them and then uncover and sprinkle cheese and cook on broil for 3 to 4 minutes
yes another video from my favorite UA-cam ron the road
45:44 yaaaasss Cathy!!!! 🎊
Those look really good 😋 - next time, after you cut the peppers in half, place them face down in your oven while you prepare your filling... The inside of the pepper creates steam as it releases water and they will soften... Then you can add your filling and cheese and place back in the oven to finish.
I like to give my peppers that headstart... & honestly, if you ever need to - empty the filling out and place the pepper back in the oven if needed... Where there's a will, there's a way 😃
Also, I cut mine lengthwise from the top of the stem that way you have two pieces to fill from each pepper. Helps when your appetite isn't what you thought it was.
Ok. Food For Thought thanks
@@FOASQUAD You are welcome ❤
Hi Anthony those bake stuffed bell peppers look delicious. & that rice with the fried sausage & onions sounds scrumptious. Enjoy yourself & have a safe evening.
Hey Anthony good to see you use the oven for the stuff peppers.
When I saw your package of peppers the other day. It made me want stuffed peppers! I went and got some. But I’m making mine tomorrow 😊 your looked great. I put a little tomato sauce in mine. And the thing about instant rice is you don’t have to rinse. And it’s always equal parts rice and water. So it’s easy to remember. Maybe you can use the leftovers mixture on some flour tortillas with cheese. I always cover my peppers up in the last few minutes when I put the cheese on top.
At 42:21 you can see a little chipmunk behind you Anthony. Sitting on the mound beside the tree, right above your head. The tiniest FOA squad member, LOL. ❤❤
I do not pre-cook ingredients before stuffing peppers because it all cook's together when ovened.. One can cook them in frying pan on stove top, just lid them, add a topping (ketchup or crushes tomatoes) and away it goes. I never use rice or a cheese topping, it's my preference to not do so!!😊
Good evening y'all
💞💞
Ground pork mixed with ground beef is the best🤙🏼
You can chop it all up and make a casserole in that round dish next time. Ive made something like this with stuffing and cheese ontop of the pepper and sausage. Looks filling!
Hi Anthony just a quick recommendation. When I prepare stuffed peppers for my family I cut and scrape the seeds out of the pepper’s. Then boil them until they are somewhat soft. Hope that helps! In your Mothers voice “You gonna eat all that”? ❤
Always look forward to watching your videos especially when you're cooking. Have a great day Anthony.
Hello Anthony, maybe next time you can stuff the peppers with stove top stuffing, shrimp and sausage. Cut the peppers in half and fill them. Never stuffed with rice, but I will try. Thanks for sharing. God Bless 🙏🏾
next time Anthony, put some olive oil or some kind of oil all over the bell peppers and they’ll get soft. also, you can bake them a bit before putting the stuffing in because that’s already cooked. nonetheless, looks amazing. you can also add some tomato sauce on top before the cheese! WOWZER
I boil my peppers for about 5-7 mins let sit for about 20mins than stuff the peppers. Enjoy❤❤❤❤
Anthony, you cleaned that plate really good 😂😂😂
Now aren't you glad you didn't waste those peppers! Glad you liked them! Have to parboil them first (Boil in water for just 2 or 3 min.), so they will be soft. If you like your peppers wide open like that, I would at least cut the pepper from the stem, chop it and use it in scrambled eggs or a hamburger dish later. Lots of waste there. I push my knife down into the pepper from the top and slice around the stem, take it out, then stuff the pepper using a smaller spoon. Each to their own, but save all that pepper you threw away! Lol I also put diced tomatoes and Velveeta cheese or a small jar of Cheez Whiz in the sausage mixture. You did much better with your skillet than I do with mine! Those things are slippery! They do clean up easy peasy though. Have a nice w/e and enjoy your new neighbors coming in! Let us know if you have other food to use up. We can give you a million or so tips on what to do with it!
I'm so glad that you tried stuffed peppers Anthony , next time boil the peppers for about five minutes to soften then stuff and bake for 20 - 30 minutes .
Happy thankful Thursday Anthony and FOA Squad. The stuffed bell peppers looked delicious. That’s something I’ve never tried to make. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙏🏽♥️
Boil your peppers a little before adding mixture
Hey Anthony! I do a stove top deconstructed "stuffed" pepper! Just putting it out there in case you run into issues with to many peppers, or you don't have a baking pan big enough, or not enough butane again. Just putting it out there! 🙂❤️
You did that Anthony!!!❤❤🥰Wowzer!!😊🤩😋
So close to 70k. Horray, Anthony and the FOA Squad! 😊🎉
I cut my bell peppers in half and boil them for about 10 or 15 minutes , then stuff and bake them. That way u don't have to bake them so long. Love u ..
Love the new set up
Only if you're using long grain or uncooked rice. Minute rice is equal portions of rice to water.
I love the simple lifestyle ❤😊 ✌️
I legit consider this your cooking show! 😂 It's "the hook up" of Van Life cooking 🍳
😂😂 hooked up for real !
Honey, you are just precious!!! I love your videos so much.
The peppers looked amazing. I'm sure they were delicious. Can't wait for the next one. You have fun at the camp ;)
Oh, And I'm really glad you watch Nomi (Nomatic introvert) too.
Go chef Anthony yummy 😊 have a great day thanks for sharing cheers.
70K coming your way!!’ 🎉🎉🎉
Hello Anthony,I always steam my peppers first before I stuffed them, take care
LORD⭐️ that looks good Honey ❤❤❤. Yummy 🤤
WOWSERS 😮😮😮
Looks good. Tip on rice
Don’t rinse . If you cook in separate saucepan…equal amounts of rice and water. Put on full boil. Once it’s boiling take off range and cover off heat 15 min
Hello. Great job with your video ad usual, you fo your thing. The food looks delicious. You always put your foot down in all you do, it's going to be right because of uour great effort 👌🏽👋🏼
@Life With Anthony Hello, I hope those stuffed peppers hit the spot.
I really like your new kitchen Anthony !!
I haven't made stuffed peppers in so long. Before its done, l pour Marina sauce and top off with cheese. I like a little crunch and l use red bell peppers because they're naturally sweet. I like to use ground turkey, chicken or spicy italian turkey sausage. The peppers hold better when theyre a little al dente.
Hi Anthony! Love your cooking videos. I had to get a snack so that I could eat with you.❤
Love your cooking setup, Anthony ❤
Anthony when i do stuff bell peppers i use the tops of the bell peppers as lids to cover them and i turn the oven onto 300° once they have cooked to my liking then i remove them then place my cheese on them and place them back in the oven just enough for the cheese to melt once the cheese melt i then remove them from the oven
You did a great job! They looked delicious and definitely made me wanna try to make them now. So happy I’ve found your channel!😁
Anthony you gave me a good idea I'm going to do some stuffed bell peppers this weekend 😋
Hey Anthony looks great. There are a lot of cooks with suggestions coming to you, Wow! Your doing good, chef Anthony. There are " stuffed green pepoer" casseroles, even stuffed green pepper soup. The enternate is an encyclopedia of recipes👍👍 I can imagine the smell😋😋😋 Love it, love it your blogs👌👍✌🤓
Stuffed peppers is delicious, but I also use cheese with a little bit of sauce to give it more flavor so it don’t be dry. All in all it look delicious. I like my top crispy I cover the top so the pepper 🫑 cook . Or parboil the pepper and then stuff it.. you did great
Add water in bottom of foil when you put in oven & cover it to get pepper soft
Next time you need to put the peppers in boiling water first. That will soften them up before you put them in the oven.
Use the pepper tops to cover the peppers in the oven. Then add cheese and take off the tops or the last 5 minutes
Get some ready made party, make some small circles, stuff it with the sausage and fry them. Make a little dipping sauce
Have the sausage with rice and cabbage
Make an egg McMuffin with the sausage for lunch.
Get some hot dog buns stuff it with sausage, put some cheese on top and make it melt. Add some mustard on top
Next time blanch the peppers to make them soft before you stuff it and use your favorite spaghetti sauce. Prego meat sauce will taste very good.
Hi Anthony, I noticed the sound of more truck or tractor activity than usual in this video. Are they building a new structure at the campsite, or perhaps clearing the land to house more campers? Your videos brighten my day. 🌞
I like the pepper 🫑 to be firm, looks delicious 👍🏽
Anthony… par-boil the pepper 🫑 1st! To add moisture to your peppers keep the tops that you threw away and and cover the peppers with that! I love a firm pepper as well! Add a water at the bottom of foil to create steam! It looks delicious!
Ps your laugh is contagious!!!!!!!❤❤
I haven't had stuffed peppers in ages; it looks good! If you close up the foil, it will steam instead of bake, so you probably wouldn't like the texture. You could steam them for just a couple of minutes at the beginning to make them just a little more done. Either that or bake them longer with a piece of foil set loosely on top to prevent over browning. bon apetit!
