"anger is an emotion that is almost always connected with the past" - this is a very profound statement, Anahita ji. Thank you for sharing. As always, you set such high standards in your videos and I look forward to hearing all of your realizations the same day that you release your videos. Sending sincere gratitude.
I never understood why i was always Angry.. but it was always triggered by neglect and injustice to me in my past that affects my present too. I didn't like that i was enraged with unfairness and injustices now but i unconsciously i fall into that pattern. But am mindful now. 🙏 Thank u anahita ji. We respect and value ur works for us 🙏 may god bless u.
So much purity and Sattva in this knowledge. To be free from the trappings of the mind by being aware of what Rahu and Ketu represent in one's chart. 🥰
Wish I could do double thumbs up for the video. I rarely comment on YT, but I had to express my gratitude. You are to the point. Informative with no fear tactics. Just wealth of knowledge!!! Thank you.
Preach 🙌🏽 I'm in the near end of my Rahu MD, it ends in March 2024. I have Rahu in Bharani in the 8th house with Mars. I started practicing tantra in my Venus anterdasha in 2019 and it's been the most transformative experience. The purification process was very painful. I'm still in it of course, dissolving samskaras and loosening the granthis. The Goddess does not disappoint for those earnestly seeking moksha. She has gifted this incarnation with Gnosis that cannot be bought. My Sun is Uttara Bhadrapada sitting in the 7th with Venus in Revati and Mercury my lagna Lord. Moon is Krittika in 9th house. Jai ma 🍀 luck is on the side of those who have the courage to pierce through the veil. I highly recommend the book letting go, the pathway of surrender by David Hawkins, for anyone looking to get started on this journey. It's an easy to digest version of how to liberate one self from the desire nature.
Thank you. I entered Rahu-Ketu about 1 month ago, so this is an especially interesting video for me at this time. Rahu is on my Ascendant at 18 - 15 Meena, Revati Nakshatra. I am familiar with Jyotish, but not an expert in it. For me, Rahu has always been a spiritual influence. Insatiable desire for moksha. I love Rahu and Ketu. I find it unfortunate that the Nodes, deemed to be Asuras, are looked at generally as 'bad'. After all, it was the Devas who tried to steal the fairly-earned portion of the Amrit from the Asuras and not the other way around. 🙂 Thank you for your elegant and knowledgeable presentation. Appreciated.
This is the point: Rahu and Ketu, after taking a sip of the nectar of immortality, are no longer Asuras. Rather, they have become immortal and been given a place in the Cosmos. But being that Swabharnu disguised himself to obtain what was not earned, Rahu still has this insatiable desire for experience (plays out where and with whom he associates in the chart) and Ketu's behaviour is to completely reject, let go, and throw away life experiences (also plays out where and with whom he associates in the chart). They are both feared due to the fact that they are working from the subconscious levels, and therefore bring us to unpredictable life events. This is in essence the human condition. So, we need this 'churning' - this eclipsing of the Sun (soul) and Moon (mind) -- in order to really experience life so we can transcend chains of time, karma, and obtain immortality. And only knowledge /spiritual practices can help us transcend this human condition...
@@AnahitaRao108 Thank you. As everything is the Play of Consciousness, then everyone and everything is immortal. Ultimately then, there is no 'us' and 'them'; there is just Us. (My Moon is in Ashlesha; so, I am fond of the so-called bad guys who are actually good guys.) 🙂
Absolutely just love to listen to the way you describe the nodes……. The way you make them come alive….. to almost feel them, to see the effects, how they operate and influence your life. It was the most difficult aspect of understanding to me. Thank you kindly for sharing your knowledge and my deepest gratitude for this connection I can now make. 🙏🏻. It is those gems in life that you receive that will always stay with you. Aiming to work with the higher side of both. Looking forward to all your videos. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
“Rahu symbolizes grandmother on maternal side” wow so true my mother always said I’ve had prophetic dreams just like my grandmother. Currently in my rahu dasha.
that is a really interesting and well presented video on the nodes. much appreciated, will be watching it again as reference. Looking forward to the house placement videos. thank you!
Wow such an informative video! Ra-Ke are such eternally interesting grahas to keep learning about! Also thanks for sharing the tidbit about your grandfather! My grandfather was also a doctor who also always recommended homeopathy to me while growing up :-) I still feel the connection to him even years after he has passed. I started learning Jyotish a few months ago, and found out that I have a prominent Magha in my chart (and my asc is Moola) which I guess solidifes the ancestral connect...the more I study Jyotish, the deeper I get to know myself, and your videos have helped me so much along my learning journey. A special thanks to you for simplifying the Shastra 🙏❤️
Running Rahu Mahadasha since the last few years and I can tell it is really overhelming. Some times it feels really good but sudden changes tears everything apart from nothing and then it starts all over again. I have this nodal axis in the 5th-11th house, Rahu in Libra Vishaka conjunct with Jupiter Swati in the 5th and Ketu in Aries Kritikka in the 11th conjunct Sun and Mercury combusted in Bharani.
I survived the Transiting Conjunction of Rahu/Uranus and Mars right on my Natal Sun in the 11th. I moved into a new space on April 14th 2022, when Rahu went into Aries, and the next day Jupiter went into Pisces. I moved again(in progress) this August 1st into a more suitable space. Not an easy time for Snakes in the year of the Tiger. Saturn's short stay in my 9th was very helpful as well Jupiter in my 10th with an Exalted Venus/Moon Revati. Looking forward to Saturn moving back into the 9th. Sadi Sati, not a problem. If there is a problem, there is a solution. Letting go of holding on. Yes in your chart having an Exalted Rahu and Ketu is of a great benefit, especially of a Spiritual influence near the Lagna. Rahu in the 7th, Fated relations. I have this in my Navamsa. Delighted you brought up Ketu. Some astrologers say Ketu cannot have aspects with the other planets as Ketu is Invisible. We can't see the wind, but we observe the wind in how it affects, clouds, trees, storms, and Delighted in the Scent of a Rose we see.🌹 Thank you Anahita Cheers!
BG 2.62: While contemplating on the objects of the senses, one develops attachment to them. Attachment leads to desire, and from desire arises anger. BG 2.63: Anger leads to clouding of judgment, which results in bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, the intellect gets destroyed; and when the intellect is destroyed, one is ruined.
We need knowledge and detachment to walk the path toward liberation. Ketu is detachment. I am wondering how Rahu could be channeled to knowledge? I understand Jupiter is knowledge, maybe is only "formal" knowledge? And for liberation we need more than that?
I liked your perspective as always....it's nice to see that you are making videos on astrology with a fresh and new perspective. Please keep doing it. I also see that the videos are in a chapter-wise fashion for easy break down of viewing...considering the new trend of TLDR.
best description of Rh/Kt I heard, thank you...my Rh is with exalted Guru, opposite Sk with Kt....in 8th....Atmakarak....can't escape Moksha tendencies, even if it is often connected with loss
A couple of years ago--no doubt some planet was gundantha somewhere--I looked in our old family bible and noticed a glossary of terms, and in there "Keturahu" caught my eye: Wife of Abraham, it said. Then, I could not help but notice on another page a picture demonstrating pagan with a drawing undisputedly of Ganeshiji. By this time, I was feeling a bit creepy in my stomach, and when I noticed Ruele I recognized as the second R in Tolkein's initials and was curious but wanted out of there; it no longer resides here.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Looking forward for the rahu in scorpio in the nine house!!!! I am in rahu saturn maha dhasa and I am 47 uears old. Blessings to you❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤍

very interesting to hear that Rahu and Ketu are not joined to any yogas. I take it this means the Shrapit yoga was also not part of jyotish historically?
For Leo lagna if Ketu is aspected by 5th lord Jup and Rahu by 9th lord Mars, would that bring some auspiciousness to their results? Many thanks for this detailed exposition.
with Rahu symbolizing maternal grandmother I can't agree in my case, my grandmother was only giving and very modest, but my paternal grandmother was a true grabby one....not so nice (bitchy)
my education was compeletely cut due to Ketu effect as per an astrologer.... i have Jupiter/ ketu in the 4th house of aries and am a capricon ascendant. Rahu in the 10th house is also causing trouble with work sometimes.. saturn in the 7th house has disturbed my marriage.... overall i have turned to spirituality and have never had a happy life! and on top i dont get any help from anyone..... helpless, alone.... and loaded with pain.
Thank you. This gave me peace & comfort 🖤🤍❤️✨️

Rahu ketu take you into the matrix of illusions as in the movie

Ms. Rao you are such a treasure trove of wisdom and insight.
Hand on heart thank you for all your time making these educational lessons.

Will have to watch a few times - lots to absorb, thank you as ever

Great introduction
It was very enlightening and gave a very practical view to managing Rahu and Ketu energies. Thank you very much…
Best Rahu and Ketu video ever! Seriously 🙏🏽
thanks
That was very interesting! I must give it another play! Thank you!
“Rahu symbolizes grandmother on maternal side” wow so true my mother always said I’ve had prophetic dreams just like my grandmother. Currently in my rahu dasha.
I love the information you are giving for Rahu and Ketu very informative for me. Thank you!❤️🙏

This video is a gem and I am so thankful to you for sharing this wealth of knowledge in such simple words. This was beautiful Anahita, thankyou 🙏
Thank you so much! This video really gave me a deeper understanding of the essence of these nodes.
I'm going through Rahu Dasha and I'm a Cancer Rising in Vedic Astrology. It has been quite a journey.
Me too. Would be curious to know a bit about your journey. If you care to elaborate that is.

Great analysis and explanation
I find the nodes to be fascinating material
Thanks Annahita
BG 2.62: While contemplating on the objects of the senses, one develops attachment to them. Attachment leads to desire, and from desire arises anger.
BG 2.63: Anger leads to clouding of judgment, which results in bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, the intellect gets destroyed; and when the intellect is destroyed, one is ruined.

Hope they set me free 🙏
Hmmm, since the nodes have to do with the sets of grandparents, it would now make sense why, at a nodal return, issues regarding them also pop up...
Thanks!
thanks!
ommmmm
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Looking forward for the rahu in scorpio in the nine house!!!! I am in rahu saturn maha dhasa and I am 47 uears old. Blessings to you❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤍

Really good! Im living my rahu mahadasha. Moved to a foreign country this year! My rahu is in my 7th purva ashadha.
In navmasha I have ketu 2nd house with saturn, which is my darakaraka in both charts. What does it mean?
Thank u so much for the wisdom
My ketu and mercury saptmesh is in Sagittarius lagan and Jupiter is aspecting both
Sometimes feel isolated
And don't like the worldly happiness which is not permanent
Just share my thoughts with planetary conjunction
very interesting to hear that Rahu and Ketu are not joined to any yogas. I take it this means the Shrapit yoga was also not part of jyotish historically?
