@@knowledgeindia Hello Sir... First of all Thanks alot for making such impactful content ECS. With your help was able to learn many complex AWS topic. Would request you to please complete the remaining topics on ECS & Fargate to help us in expanding our knowledge. In your ECS playlist you mentioned many a times that we will be covering the topics soon but was unable to find the videos on it. Appreciate the hard work you are in putting to make such great content is helping new beginner in learning
This is what essentially Docker swarm used to be. being a self learning and practicing DevOps engineer I never understood how we could create a solution similar to Swarm with AWS. so I was manually managing and creating the swarm. But this is what I exactly needed and now I'm going to revamp my organization's infra from here!!!! this whole series of videos is what I needed. I had experience with Fargate but could never think of creating such solution! Thank you!!!!!
Very good tutorial I have even seen so far. All the techniques Services | Dynamic Port Mapping | Load Balancing & Auto Scaling with ECS are all put together and explained crystal clear. Very good!!!
I am compelled to leave a compliment, seeing the level of effort that has been put into explaining topics like ECS and ECS Services that might be hard and not demonstrated to this extent elsewhere. Great Tutorial!
You explain things so clearly! I was struggling to understand docker and ECS but the 4 videos that you uploaded (0,1,2 and3) made my concepts very clear. I love your style of making others understand the concepts. Keep doing the great job!
You have an astute method to teach others - Thinking from viewers point of view and not just run thru slides...You hold viewers attention completely. Such a great service you are doing mate !! You are surely a great teacher that world needs ! Many congrats !!

Many thanks for your clear cut videos on ECS. These series are the best video tutorials ever seen on the net. Still, I am waiting for the video, as you promised in part1, the details explanations of the task definition.
Absolutely Amazing series. Loved it totally. You have an exceptional hold on your teaching techniques. Awesome just freaking awesome. Waiting for a complete tutorial on all the attributes.
Thank you so much Mayank, I watch all the 3 videos and those are absolutely amazing :). You put it very nicely, loved it and I am really happy that I could understand it very well.

Great video, just one thing, if you choose the port 443 you are going to experience some issues on the target groups, some time you will see that some targets on that port 80 are unhealthy. To fix that you need to recreate the service and listen the port 80 on the target group. DO exactly the video shows on the minute 09:50

👉 Mayank, a quick video request... "CICD" using aws code suite. This lecture series were crisp, this is a gem of a channel. I also want to know if there's any training program.
Good video, thanks for uploading, just one question about ALB. When we configure a public endpoint on ALB it usually needs two public subnets as targets. but you have private subnets as targets here as shown in architecture diagram. Does ECS not have this restriction ? does the Service configured on ECS takes care automatically ?
Your explanation is very simple and crystal clear... I am hoping a series on Docker and CICD ... many thanks ... and also liked and subscribed on Linkedin as well :-)
This is the best tutorial I have come across! Are there more ECS tutorial. Do you have a video that has how to connect ECS with ECR. You had mentioned you will be showing that.
Thanks for these awesome videos sir. You make complex topics look simple. I have a doubt. How does the ALB know on which port should it send the traffic to the ec2 instances ? Bcos the dynamic mapping that you showed in this video is between ec2 instances and tasks running in it.
hi - great video. one question though - if one service has to talk to another and they are load balanced - lets say we have env variable being used to call second service - Isnt port number needed to call second service? All videos I have seen using cloud map service discovery still tend to use the port which I think defeats the purpose - bit confused on how will dynamic port mapping affect service discovery.
@@knowledgeindia yes it is. However, the services have their own ports too and one service wants to talk to another - question is do they talk to each other by name 'without' using port number OR port number is still needed with name? I looked at another video without AWS using eureka discovery - in that case service could use name of another service without using port number - so thats where the confusion is coming from.
Thank you so much Mayank and myself have shared this to my colleagues. I do have a query, where i have 2 ec2 instances, and each of them having two applications of different ports (say here 80 and 8080) defined with dynamic host mapping (given host port as 0). How can i load balance this in my ALB, where currently i am able to do for only one in the cluster service. Will be more helpful, if the query is answered.
Is it possible to configure two ec2 different types of instances while auto scaling? For example existing ecs is c5.large, while auto scaling it should run a lower instance
One of the best tutorial for ALB with EC2 service. I have tried this through cloudformation but my target group is repeatedly draining. I have changed the inbound rule as you said(adding ALB security group in EC2 inbound rule as source) in this tutorial. But same thing happened for me. Did I miss anything other than this?
