As a long time fan of both black metal and deathcore, hearing bands like this mesh them perfectly is incredible. And for once its only uphill frim here for awhile.
This and lorna shore are the only bands I have found to mesh it perfectly unless you have any other recomendations?

Leo is an impressive drummer
He is spicy af, def top tier
It's his single stroke rolls. Lots of younger drummers getting into playing music after getting into things like deathcore is kind of bad for them. They tend to skip over very basic fundamentals and jump right into using drivers aids and course correction before they master the early stages.
I would say this drummer received proper training..... he kinda comes across as one of the drummers who started out into pop punk and skate punk before discovering deathcore and death metal.
I've been itching for more blackened deathcore and this BOPS HARD.
I see Devin, I click. No exceptions.

Don’t care what anyone says about you guys “ripping off Lorna”, there’s similarities and that’s not bad at all. This was some phenomenal blackened deathcore imo, with a lot of emotion put into it that I felt throughout the song, which I really like especially in blackened deathcore, despite the sick breakdown which was great as well! Good job guys can’t wait to hear more👌🏼

@@Kingovcurses Plus we have a lot of new people who have only heard Lorna due to the hype (and well deserved) and have literally heard nothing else. Yeah, when suddenly "everything sounds like Lorna" cause' all you've heard is Lorna. That's like saying old Chelsea Grin sounds like Lorna, or old Whitechapel, etc. Like, I don't know who actually thinks that, they'd have to be new to the genre or simply haven't heard much of it.
