This is the exact type of content and insight I’ve been looking for when it comes to TR, thank you so much!! This really helps a lot in visualizing exactly what cuts and silhouettes work together to compliment my own body type.
I love a neutral palette that takes advantage of earthy greens and blues rather than sticking to shades of gray and brown. Such a good way to add color while remaining neutral! I would love to see your capsule, I bet it is beautiful 🥰
I wish you good luck with your channel. It’s refreshing to see a more minimalistic approach to theatrical romantic/romantic fashion. Other recommendations are ornate and old looking as if it was the 1950s!
@@alyssarudman I can see that. Maybe that’s why it looks so good on you! Extremely oversized drown me and I look like a kid who got into my dad’s clothes. Soft classic dark winter :). I have saved your soft classic dark winter video since I keep going back to it! Also, if I haven’t said it already - can’t wait for your channel to blow up! It’s so well researched and aesthetically pleasing! Your vibe is just super cool girl, effortless class!
Thank you so much!! I so appreciate the support and love 🥰 I will definitely have more Soft Classic videos coming out in the future as well. I'm always happy to take requests!
As a Romantic, simple solid color basics usually look quite dull on me. A fine striped pattern or even just heatered grey over solid color makes a world of difference. If I have to wear solid color basics, I usually add a layer on top to make it more dynamic. A mess shirt, a texture cardigan or lace bolero would spice the outfit.
I’m sorry but hoodies look generally bad on theatrical romantics imo. Feel free to disagree. They eat up our double curve and make us look bulky and too masculine
I don't necessarily disagree, but a realistic wardrobe might not always include items that are ideal for our body types. Sometimes a girl just likes a hoodie! I've definitely seen Selena Gomez rock a hoodie 🥰 Might not show her double curve, but it's still quite cool
Thank you for this video. I have a classic minimalist style, and recently I found out that I'm TR. I was curious about how to incorporate TR clothing pieces into my wardrobe. It's relieving to know that it is possible.
Thank you soo much! A great inspiration. I love that you mixed tr with trend. It seems very wearable and modern. I feel like a lot of tr recommendations are too romantic or too sexy to wear for every day. 🎉
I love this because I’m a soft/true autumn color palette and not only that my style is very minimalistic! I was hoping to see some jeans in here though but that’s ok :) this was beautifully done thank you
My other TR video has lots of jeans! Also, I'll be doing jeans for the Kibbe types soon! Skinny jeans and mom jeans are some of the best styles for Theatrical Romantic 🥰
This is really good. Basically the only fashion vid you really need. Can you make on for a pure romantic for the summer or tropical weather. Neutrals with dark feminine feel but also some casual options.
@@alyssarudman Oh I'll check it out, I think I'm Deep Autumn or Deep Winter, and it's been hard to match my color and body type to the tropical climate of my location. Also, it seems like romantic outfits always look like you're going on a date 😆. thank you for replying!
@@ABB14-11 Deep Autumn and Deep Winter are sister seasons, meaning that you will look good in both if you belong to one of those color types! Of course, one will be slightly better (winter if you have a cool undertone, autumn if warm). I feel your pain with the romantic outfits! I'll make a note for when I create my next Romantic video!
Cropped puffer jackets are great for TR! Also midi-length wool coats with a tie waist. Even though TR is slender and a bit sharp, I wouldn’t go for anything too fitted for practical reasons. You may want to be able to fit a sweater underneath. So choose something with a raglan sleeve which will create a nice rounded shoulder and leave room for layers. A dropped shoulder works too but I think a raglan sleeve is best because of the soft round shape it creates at the shoulder 🥰
That’s a great idea! I’m working on something like that for my body types guide books, and could definitely turn it into a video series too 🥰 as of now the closest thing I have to that would be my Soft Natural capsule video, but there’s certainly more to come!
In general, having one feature that doesn't fit with a particular body type doesn't exclude you from that type. However, I would have to see you to know your type 🥰 You can always DM me on Instagram if you want a second opinion! I also offer body and color typing on waardrobe.com
I can add it to my list! I’m only able to produce about one capsule video per month because they take so much time to create, but I try my best to do highly requested body and color type combinations! 🥰
Wow! I thought i was a soft natural for a few years, and none of my clothes were working for me no matter what i did. These are all things i Know would actually look great on me, holy crap 😭
I’m curious what you mean by that. Are you saying that TR may not have a specific type of hourglass shape or measurement due to weight gain? In that case I would agree with you
@@alyssarudman I mean one's hair, eyes, skin tone warm or cool and the depth of color in the skin. I for example look terrible in black by hair is warm blonde, my eyes tourquoise, amd my skin a yelowy peach fair tone. I look best in Spring colors warmish rather than coolish ones. Flamboyant natural ;)

They can be “ ok “ if they are lightweight and fitted

I think I am theatrical romantic with winter colour palette. I look awfully washed out in most neutral tones apart from cool greys.
I have medium size bones (5.75" wrist) but everything else is the same. Am I still this body type?

Rihanna is also another great example of Theatrical Romantic, even though she's tall :)
A controversial one!
Can a romantic be tall- because I’m 171cm and I thought I was soft dramatic and the online test said romantic
It's possible, but unlikely since you are quite tall. Unfortunately the online tests often give incorrect results.
a tr doesn’t have to be an hourglass. that’s a misconception
