Love seeing videos of other people in the editing process!! It feels so good to rework sentences or descriptions or dialogue and just feel happy with it!
@@BonnieNicoleWrites it sure does! I’m currently reading through another chapter and have been pretty impressed with what I’ve written. Sometimes as writers we get so caught in imposter syndrome that we don’t even realize that we too are talented!
@@Myrecommends Yess! It's so true. I am doing a first read-through of my manuscript I wrote last year and I was so surprised that I actually liked it! I mean, it definitely needs a lot of polishing up and adding on and whatnot. But it's not half bad. And that was a surprising but very fun discovery. I'm so glad you're having the same experience! It's so encouraging!
My chapter 1 and 2 are similar where they are a little shorter and 3 is where things start to be longer. My plan has been to do a chapter a day for draft 2, keeping each chapter a bit short and then for draft 3 I will go back in and make those chapters longer.
@@AshDaniWrites I completely rewrote chapter 2 and was smiling and laughing when I read chapter 3. I totally felt like it was actually good. I can’t remember if I’ve asked you this yet, what genre book are you writing?
i looooved this video!! gave me such a better insight to your thoughts and process & that is always so fun 💗 i hope the kiddos love the wild robot!
@@mikwrites thank you! I always worry that others will find these videos too chatty haha!

@@Myrecommends It's so nice when we read something we wrote and actually like it! I'm writing a gothic horror and I know that's not your thing 😅
