For someone who lost so much in a fire you have been blessed with what you have accomplished so quickly. Your gift boxes were awesome and you will have so much fun. It looks like Jim will need to make you a stand for your rulers. Jim is kinda naughty at times he is so cute. Have a wonderful day! Wished I lived closer to visit.
Thank you! Yes, we have come far & quick. Jim has worked so very hard to get us where we are. He is a very good man & he loves to keep me on my toes! He has a very happy energy that helps me be positive 😊❤️
I love you two! You are such a happy couple, and that is so nice to see! You so deserve all the goodness in your life. You are a wonderful and beautiful person. I am so glad to have found your UA-cam content. Thank you for being you!
Those sticks are for bias stems. You can insert them into a bias tube, move the seam to the back, and then press them. Mine are made by Clover and are called Loop Pressing Bars.
Love your updates!! You always have so many ideas!!!So excited for your new adventure!! You always make me laugh!!! You both are just like friends so far away! Thank you for being you!
The yellow bias bars can be used to make stems or for Celtic designs. Your fabric strips must be cut on the bias. The sewing, pressing, etc. was described by another person commenting. I'm sure UA-cam has videos of the process. It's really very easy.
Thank you so much for letting me know! That makes sense to me. I had no idea what they were for but figured they were used for something. They may be useful to me or someone that sews in my studio one day. Thank you!! 😊❤️❤️
Love your videos! Can’t wait for you to be in your sewing studio. Maybe you know but the J Wecker Frisch collections you like have bible verses somewhere on her fabrics. Sometimes you have to hunt to find them. Thank you for all you do.
Her last name sounds like "fresh". I'm happy you're expanding your knowledge of quilt fabric designers. Sorry you had flooding. Box fans and a dehumidifier work for the lingering moisture. My family had a house fire in 1984. I wasn't a quilter yet. After a year of stress and struggle, we finally settled with the insurance company. We had lived in this 4-square home for 6& 1/2 years. We got $2000. I was so pleased that the quilt community surrounded you with love. But, I have to confess I was jealous, too. I'm glad you are my UA-cam friend!!! God Bless You!!!🎉
We did not flood here. But a lot of towns close to us did. After our house fire the local community and our UA-cam community really helped us. So with the flooding we knew how it feels to lose everything you own. We are just trying to help them as much as we can. To be honest a lot of the support from the quilting comunity came from our UA-cam friends. With out them I would not be nearly as far along as we are. We still find things that we need. In fact just last night I made homemade pizza and we didn't have a pizza cutter LOL. In time we will fully recover.
Happy mail day to you. Love the updates and all the love you get showered with. Love seeing the treat I sent you on top shelf of your step back cupboard. Have blessed day my friend
If you like the wicker fish ( not spelled right) designer for Riley Blake then you will love her new design. She has designed antique irons on fabric modeled after Jenny Doan of Mosurri star Quilt s. Antique iron collection. Jenny is having a tutorial this Friday with the new iron fabric. If you have time watch. Best of luck with your new adventure
Ohhhhh I'm waiting for this fabric to come to Erin's shop! She has it ordered. I want to get one of the panels & make a quilt out of it. I lost my She Who Sews quilt in the fire as it was my personal favorite. The panel for that has been discontinued & sellers who have it want a crazy price up to 60 dollars to purchase it! The irons line is now my new favorite! I did not know that it was modeled after Jenny Doan! I just Love her!! I will look for that video! That will be very exciting to watch!! 😍❤️❤️ Thank you for telling me!!
Ooh just like Christmas today. You have a great guy there, Marnae. He actually acts interested in your quilt stuff. It is going to be exciting when you get into your bit of Utopia. Take care.
Thank you!! Jim is very special! It has taken Jim and I our whole life to find each other after we both have been through several failed relationships. We are best friends & I am thankful to God that we found each other by mere chance. I love him so much!! ❤️❤️
I love watching you open the boxes and seeing so many colourful fabrics and gifts and your face lights up with it all. Not long to go now before you move into that beautiful studio sewing space - what a day that will be!!! 🥳 🥰
Thank you! ❤️ Yes, We are moving along & I have been patient. More and more anxious now because we are so close! I can hardly wait to bring you all in & hopefully make better videos of my creativity 😁
Square n square ruler is amazing universal tool. I have her original from over 25 years ago. It's still a Go to tool for me. Jody Barrows has youtube videos on using it.
Hi Marne,I think those strips of plastic maybe to put on rulers , I have seen something similar to it,but not sure,do they have like a lip at the ends? If so they do hook on the ruler,Tilly’s blanket looks great, nice to see you both again! ❤
Thank you!! Wait till you see his little antique bed for the studio! Jim painted it yesterday in peek a boo blue! Its darling! I need to sew a matress for it! 😊
You can also use your zipper foot and wrap fabric around them. Sew close to the bar as you can get. Then trim the seam and move it to the flat side iron it. Use for stained glass or stems
Hi! I love vintage fabric. I wish I could have seen your valance fabric closer. You were standing in front of it unfortunately. Maybe when it's finshed and up in your new sewing studio 😊
I'm so sorry.... I will show how I make them so you can get a better view. I'm using the Wecker Fritsh panels, some Hobby Lobby fabric in teal to frame them out and an off white with gray for the ruffle.
Maybe the plastic sticks are for turning up a hem so you don’t have measure it. They come in different widths depending how wide you want your hem. They are not metal though so you can’t iron over them. You could also use them to mark lines from your seams in a quilt if you are echo quilting.

I love the JWecker Frisch designs also. Kinda Whimsical Steam Punk

I love your T-shirt!
Thanks! It was gifted to me from a customer at Erin's Shop, Scheetz sew creative. It is one of my favorite T shirts 😊
The yellow/gold sticks may be for bias stems for appliqué. They will be good for your studio use
To Applique. Different widths.
Beautiful
Thank you! ❤️
Love the curtain fabric. And I think the sticks maybe corner helpers or push thicker fabric. 😂 threw your machine.
Thank you!! ❤️

Someone commented that they were for bias stems for flowers. I will look into it more 😊
@@marnaescountryfarmhouse yes, that does seem more plausible than my idea.
If you look at Jenny Doan’s Newsday Tuesday, by the MSQC, she interviews Janet Wecker-Frisch.
I've been reading that on other comments too!! I'm sew excited!! 😍
Gonna watch it today!!!!
