Make sure you buy an original Floyd Rose to replace the lic Floyd it came with. That's the only differences between the better 08's vs the newer ones, pups and Floyd quality and you've got yourself one badass guitar
What was the reason for using a Seymour Duncan JB? Why not a Duncan Custom or Dimarzio Super Distortion?

Did you get your yellow retro refin'd as well? I haven't looked at the newer ones but my first run from 08 is a much more mustard-y yellow

No, you simply block it where it you can't pull it up (So it effectively is top mounted) with a device like a Tremol-no or Black Box
What pick up do you recommend, I have a white Gunslinger with a duncan design that just isn't sounding right..
