I scored some of the flocked ornaments in the dark green, cream, and caramel color. Can’t wait to see how it turns out this holiday. Looking forward to seeing all your decorating as well. Im a 60 yr old lady, married 40 years, and This is house #7 But I am owned and I think I’m finally here to stay…also am an avid decorator. I mean everyone who knows me>friends, family church they think I’m crazy but I’m also a very like organized decorator no clutter… anyway I’ve never been interested in things like snowman,nutcracker,and especially not gingerbread but I do love to put up my Victorian house a village so this year since watching these videos since last February I’ve Found myself really liking the gingerbread….so I’m gonna start off doing a gingerbread two tiered tray and one section above kitchen cabinets> I have really high ceilings like from the top of my cabinets up to the ceiling on one and as high as 10 feet and then it goes down to the lowest point as well it’s still 5 feet plenty of room to decorate up there so
Great video Dana! I watched another UA-camr who said to look up at the boxes in HL above Christmas decor. Sure enough I found bells and glasses I was looking for that weren’t on the shelves yet. The store clerks were happy to bring them down.
love the greens i have even longer ones 9ft but more money i never seen the trees i will have to go look hope hobby here has them i have nutcrackers huge life size an some 3ftones fun to work with now by my back door in garage am putting tall black cabinit seen tall black thin nutcracker has some white in it anyway going to deck it out with big wreath an nutcracker bow hope it turns out cute boy i am being pretty chatty take care dana happy holidays

I do love pastels, but I save them for Easter...but the candy pastel decor is cute. I loved those black & white checkered ornaments & so many other items. I am sticking with decorating by the color palettes in each room in my home this Christmas. (Traditional in kitchen, neutral in sitting room, jewel tones in family room etc.) I have things from when I was 19 in our 1st apartment I still use. I have always loved to decorate and the anticipation keeps me going!! Be well 🙏🏼 *Edit: p.s. I have a that sign it says "gingerbread lane" though, I love it and it goes above my pantry door 🤗

Dana I did get the viral Walmart tree. Our Walmart had a display & the manager overheard the employee be abrupt with me when I asked her where they were so he let me purchase the floor model! 😊 I do also have several of those HL ones in different sizes, they’re awesome too. I never saw the flocked ornaments at our store last year so when I saw them a month ago, I snatched them up! I got the deep green & the light brown color.

My store is always late getting a lot of decor out. They said the glasses would come out after Halloween! I love the small green trees and those brown ones but I have so many trees. If you haven’t seen the My Tx House has a set (2 very large corkscrew/ or an onion like shape maybe) flocked dark green and burgundy ornaments for $10. So like $5/ornament. They also have a 4pk of glass green flocked onion shaped ones for about $11. Also they have huge 3pks for $15 that are faux mercury glass in red/burgundy and gold. I didn’t get the red cuz I saw the color coming off. I got 2 pks of gold but decided not to get more because of that. I’m going to bring my HL green ones back I think. Also Target has I think a $10 wondershop set of 5 flocked ones with different shapes. I got a couple black sets, so I might return my black HL ones too!
Hi Dana, isn't is crazy that we're getting things for Christmas already, where does the time go? I also have some sweet gingerbread items in my kitchen. The only flocked ornaments left right now at my Hobby Lobby are black. I grabbed a box of the taupe colored ones in August and I'm so happy I did. I do a neutral tree in our master bedroom. Christmas will be here before we know it. I've scaled back to 3 trees, I used to put up 7. I have one in the family room, dining room and our bedroom now. Since my kids are grown and moved out I don't put trees in other bedrooms, the basement or the living room. We are always in the large family room so I make the big stone fireplace in the living room be the focal point. But, who knows, I've been known to change my mind, lol. Enjoy your haul! ❤🎄
Oh my! I must get back to hobby Lobby. I am a traditional Christmas color gal but the neutrals have really spoke to me. Thinking I could incorporate some of the neutrals with the red and of course green. I have the green trees but need to get the small one plus the neutral ones look so pretty. Oh my I don't need more decor but see a few new items coming home. Also a gingerbread gal and broke down and bought the PB pieces and passing on my traditional pieces to my daughter and grandkids but love that sign! Thanks
