UPDATE! To upgrade the three items, you DON'T need to shoot the runes in tier 3. All you need to do is go where the ritual will take place and get the "Perform the Summoning" prompt and activate it. (Please reply to this with more details if you found it. Because I've already completed the step, I can't test this for myself)
The hardest thing about the new dark aether rift is trying to get your rewards at the end of the contract whilst being swarmed by 10 mimics, 7 manglers and 4 disciples
I really like how intense this new rift is. I had to come up with a couple strategies and risk going down once during my first session. The rewards and schematics didn’t seem all that promising, but holy hell did I have fun.
FYI. After the SS3 Reloaded, I could do it even the triangle had been activated and completed by other players. I just stood where I could see the complete big triagle and it popped up the quest to activate. Many thanks, Doughnuts. Your many clips have been making my life a lot easier. 😁🥰🙏
Dog and other players made this difficult first time doing it. I found it easier to let dog die and attempt the rituals in the last 15 mins after most players in game have already did the ritual.
Do that’s what’s weird when it first came out it seemed like every squad could do it once but there have been a few games now where once a group does it it seems to lock everyone else out..
Did it the first time last night and didn't hit the ritual offering. Killed the beefy bot and got Leg tool and crystal. Waited a minute and restarted it and did the offering and got the gold item. Also did the last two items the next round, got the gold items. Went back into T2 area to work on dailies. Then went back to T3 to get two more Legendary tools and crystals, then exfiled at final. Good way to farm tools and crystals.
@@HanzerikPeople farming them is why other people can't do their rituals for gold. Farming should be done in a week or so, give people a chance to get things done. I think it's crashing the system

Got in there and tried to explain the mechanics of the ritual and offering to a group but they seemed disorganized and didn't follow instructions. I ran just the summoning solo to show them where to stand and what to shoot, but maybe they were just confused about the whole thing. This rift unlock is a little confusing if you've never done it before. Not going to farm for a bit because my stash is full.
For upgrading the items at the triangle rituals, I found that if you start the summoning during the regular ritual, it will override your rewards from the Legendary Wrench and Tier 3 Frystal to the upgraded items. HOWEVER you can wait until after completing the regular ritual to get them, then activate the summoning seperatelu to gain both sets of rewards. The summoning can also be done even if you weren't the one to do the regular ritual. Saved me a lot of headache when I stumbled across it on accident.
how do you start the ritual if someone else started it, ive waited till the end of a match and still couldnt do em, on my 10th game racing to tier 3 just to get this done, super annoying
@justplural if you weren't able to do the upgrade ritual after the main triangle, my guess would be that someone else might have already done the upgrade ritual before you. I don't know if the upgrade is a one-time-per-match thing like the regular ritual, but that is my best guess. I was lucky enough to do it in one go, so I didn't need to try again to notice any other conditions to it.
A bit of information for those who do not know if you get all the pc Open the portal and 1 person each puts a Peace in Each altar They can all Open the portal any time they like Long as they put 1 part in on the altar and yes after next game you can open it any time hope this helps you out
One can be done without weapons, gives 150% more essence, takes far less time to complete, doesn’t run the risk of timing out or running out of zombies. 9 deployments out of 10 I’d rather have the quick essence than a wrench and crystal that I already have applied to my weapon, and will just take up backpack space. Having a stash completely full of wrenches and crystals only gets you so far without also having classified schematics.
@@_playa_ the new triangle Easter egg things inside tier 3 when completed will give 2000 essence, a legendary aether tool and a PaP 3 crystal. So folks are in there getting their items so they can extract them to add to their stash!
I’ve done this four times now, with zero success. The game keeps crashing and I lose all the items. I go back in, get the items again, start the summoning and then the game crashes to the dashboard. I’m not playing zombies until they give us a stability patch. Just not worth it
Zombies is terrible since the update, the lag is out of control, each game I’ve had there’s about 20 moments of holy shit I’m about to crash but it somehow keeps chugging along, quite literally lol!
I'm at 2 of 4 for for upgrading (the giraffe was a given) but I too was tyring last night, and I could see faded trrails from the triangle where they should line up, but there were no crystals to shoot, the small puprl triangel was there, and when going to the spot to start summonin, no prompt... I got the one NE side of map... only one that worked. hoping for a better result tonight
Man I could cry. My friend and I did the new story quest then got all items then upgraded all and when we wanted to go the the portal with my last elder sigil my game crashed and I lost everything. Got to extract lvl 75 (I was 160). I lost every upgraded Item….. I‘m very down…it took us a long time. Everything lost
such a joke how this game punishes for you for crashes. there needs to be some sort of protection for that. yet the game has been out for like 7 months and nothing
Can I place the items on the pedestals, kill the disciple and mega have the portal appear and not go into the new dark ether for it to be there for a later game or do I have to go into for the new portal to show up in all future games?
@@willhall229 yes you can. The best bet though is to go in and go straight to the exfil inside the DE to make sure it sets. But again it is supposed to set up and be there going forward once you kill the mega and disciple that spawn once you have placed all your items on the pedestals and the portal build up. If you don’t kill the disciple and mega then it won’t be there and you will have to do it again.
you do not need to shoot the symbols to do the triangle to upgrade the relics. on one of my relics I only shot one symbol and the other two I didn't shoot any and I was playing by myself. just go up to the section and move around until you find the perform summoning and activate.
I’ve tried like three times now trying to get the mercenary kill with the dog, I make sure there’s no zombies in the area and I take out the other mercenaries so the sergeant is left and the dog takes him out but no reward rift spawns? same with the aether storm, tried to do it twice and I spent like 20 minutes of the match trying to get the reward rift and nothing?

Had the same problem with the other rifts. I usually just drop a sigil for someone that does the missions and it'll let us all enter if we're on the same team. Figured I couldn't access it because I haven't even done mission 1 lmao.
Hi, I had the same problem try leaving the sqaud then place the items or Deploy Solo and place the items. The latter worked for me btw make sure you are prepared before you do it.
I won't be opening the new portal... I went to set gold items the other day and as I was setting the final one some random started picking up my placed items... Not doing it again new schematics aren't that great anyway
Can always just type “anyone opening new aether this game?” If you are in a squad that completes it counts for you. Discord and lfg groups help as well.

Does going into the new DA rift with other players who have unlocked it... unlock it for you if you haven't gotten all the items gold? Or do you have to do the whole unlock process even if you tagged along and made it out with other players who had done it all in a different game?
Doughnuts, I spent the game gathering all of the objects for the mission but when I got to tier 3 and stood on that triangle, the symbols on the walls/buildings didn’t appear?! Do I have to get here first ? I’ve gotten the pap3 + legendary tool before.. idk I’m confused
Question, I placed all the items in the corresponding places, activated the portal, but failed to kill boss. Now the portal stays open but when I try to interact with it, nothing happens. Cant put the sigil in. Is this because I didnt kill the boss?

I suggest if your going in elder or regular you run 4 sentry’s 2 for escort a one for the others 2 mortar or prescision air strikes and either the scorcher or vr11 and the fjx with what ever schematics you can bring in
Do you have to do all the gold item upgrades in the same game? If exfilling with the giraffe lets you keep it. Does it work the same way with all the rest of them?
We waited for 15 minutes and it didn't reset, does it matter what order they are done in? We did the top of stairs one first and wouldn't allow us to start the item upgrade part and shut down all 3 when we got the flawless and legendary items
It took me 3 days to upgrade the journal, the ritual itself is really buggy and it seems like only one person per lobby can do it.. So you either rush to ritual area or have to wait for next game.. Also it seems people are now farning ritual without items to easly get flawless crystal and Legendary wrench

Do I have to complete the act 4 story in order to be able to use my sigils if I already have a bunch of sigils and elder sigils from joining other users in the dark aether?
If someone rushes the ritual for the tool and crystal can I use it to upgrade the items to gold if I have them in my inventory or have I gotta run like a mad man to be the first one there?

Putting the gold items in the pedestal glitched on me and would only give two items back for me. Had to go back and get the giraffe too. 3 different times it glitched and took my purple item and never gave the gold one back. This was by far the hardest one yet

What conditions do you have to fill for the portal to stay unlocked? Do you just have to open it in a match or do you actually have to go through it? Do you have to survive for the portal to be unlocked for good?
Damn. I did the thing and opened the rift, disciple spawned a mega, killed it, and he immediately spawned a new one. Fought through the hoard of manglers and mimics while fighting the second mega, The disciple doesn't seem to take damage when the mega is alive, i honestly can't tell if it's a bug or not, but if you have 3 seconds to damage him, I'm gonna need more people to help.
Got all three missions done in the new dark aether no schematic just the arm and foot and brain but lost my elder sigil cause after I finished the escort the gas just killed me instantly and i revived to instantly die again idk why but seems like the game just won't let me have em. Also use the holger 556 backsaw conversion kit thank me later it literally melts everything currently
I still cant collect the purple ones. The only which works is the one under the bed. Killing the Seargant with the Dog, no Reward Rift is popping up, same for the Stomcaller Zombies, NO Reward Rift popping up. If anyone knows what I´m doing wrong, I would be very thankfull!

Unrelated to this video. last night I spawned into a game at the very edge of the map right above one of those big vault doors. I called in the blood burner and it spawned in inside the vault. I couldn't so anything to to get it but I could hear it. Could be a glitch, but I've played COD long enough to know that they will obvious means something. So maybe we're not too far from being able to go in those vaults.
I've only played like 5 games since getting all items but every time i go in i bring a good kit expecting to go in the aether after doing ritual.And head straight to t3 and buy essential perks with 5k from containment

HELP - I have the 3 items but for some reason when I go to the small floor triangles there are no things on the walls to shoot. Is there somthing I am missing?
My game broke. I've put the golden items on the pedestals 5 times and the rift just stays glitched. Is invisible and won't let me use sigils. On the plus side it let's me farm PAP3 crystals and legendary tools 😂
Literally tried this last night with my friends and the symbols would not reappear if someone else beat us to it, not sure if that's an update or a clitch but we tried 3 times and all three, if someone beat us to it we couldn't 😢

I have gotten five lots of the stuff you need in the main game as well as the giraffe and I have taken them out with me by way of the tombstone... As long as you don't do the rift for the main quest you can farm the items
The pedestal step glitched for me, but someone was able to pick up all my stuff from the pedestals and they left. Now I have to go get all the items and upgrade them all over again. That sucks
When I completed mine, there was no need to shoot to the runes, I just went to the location and began the summoning. I am wondering if anybody else had a similar experience
I've accepted we can't get access to it. we have all 4 pieces gold and ig won't even let us put them in the stone. doesn't give me the option when i try to put the giraffe in where it needs to be. doesn't give me the option to open it
I used the VR-11 and shot a bunch of zombies and mercs near a merc camp and the reward rift with the laptop spawned and as far as I am aware of the VR-11 cannot turn hellhounds into friendly ones unlike brain rot
Am I the only one who is having trouble activating the summoning to change the items gold to unlock the new aether? I only have one more to upgrade but the last 5 or 6 times i've tried I can't get the summon button to pop up before I finish and the regular reward opens. I've been ducking and proning all over the arch ledge thing looking for the popup to let me summon the boss.
It's Any Sergeant on the Map I think my dog killed one in a Stronghold. My issue was I didn't see the Symbols or the large Triangle but I didn't bring in the Giraffe to keep from losing it,

One thing I learned if you're doing the ritual and you don't perform it right it might take one of the items from you you can just repeat the process to get the purple object and then try it again 🤔🤔🤔

Just a heads-up that getting the Laptop with stickers works with the Mercenary bodyguard you get with the Sergeant’s Beret if he kills the Sergeant at the camp. Learned this by accident when I had the bodyguard active and no dog haha. Love all your videos and positivity!🤘😎
Anybody still having issues upgrading these items? It seems the activation sites only activate one time in a match and I keep having the issue of after performing a summoning and killing the HVT, I don’t get a reward rift then I have to go and loot the purple item yet again. 🤦🏼♂️
Yeah same! It’s the most elusive one of them all… can I upgrade my science journal if another team/player has already used that specific runes/triangle in the game, before I get to it? Or is it the case that only one science journal can be upgraded per game?

On the plus side, everyone is so busy farming wrenches and crystals they practically ignore the deliver cargo contract.
Let me compare these 2 objectives. Get garantueed gold tool, flawless crystal and 2k essence or or orrrr hear me out: 🎉Deliver Cargo🎉 you must be dumb

If you’re on pc it’s your settings. Lower your vram scale target and search what other settings changes helps latency and crashing.

The new aether is not solo friendly tried the elder and got hammered.
Once unlocked do I have to go in and exfil to permanently unlock or can I unlock and go in at a later time?
It helps if you go with two or three ppl to the dark aether. Everyone bring sentry guns. A couple for the outlast and 3 for the acv

Does going into the new DA rift with other players who have unlocked it... unlock it for you if you haven't gotten all the items gold?
Or do you have to do the whole unlock process even if you tagged along and made it out with other players who had done it all in a different game?
Doughnuts, I spent the game gathering all of the objects for the mission but when I got to tier 3 and stood on that triangle, the symbols on the walls/buildings didn’t appear?! Do I have to get here first ?

Question, I placed all the items in the corresponding places, activated the portal, but failed to kill boss. Now the portal stays open but when I try to interact with it, nothing happens. Cant put the sigil in. Is this because I didnt kill the boss?

I suggest if your going in elder or regular you run 4 sentry’s 2 for escort a one for the others 2 mortar or prescision air strikes and either the scorcher or vr11 and the fjx with what ever schematics you can bring in
Do you have to do all the gold item upgrades in the same game? If exfilling with the giraffe lets you keep it. Does it work the same way with all the rest of them?
You can exfil with all the items at any point in time!
We waited for 15 minutes and it didn't reset, does it matter what order they are done in? We did the top of stairs one first and wouldn't allow us to start the item upgrade part and shut down all 3 when we got the flawless and legendary items
It took me 3 days to upgrade the journal, the ritual itself is really buggy and it seems like only one person per lobby can do it.. So you either rush to ritual area or have to wait for next game.. Also it seems people are now farning ritual without items to easly get flawless crystal and Legendary wrench

@@ILostYourSoul i have been waiting many times up until timeout for it to reset, and it did few times but it took like 20 minutes, and it bugged and never spawned uber hound and ate my purple journal, the way i managed to do it was to rush into the spot with scorcher and fully geared so i can be the first one to activate it

I think the nuke power up is the best to get first. Having a nuke every 30 seconds is a lifesaver
I put all my pieces in activated it after 2 tries worked great but didnt complete the boss fight had to leave will this restart everything?
Do I have to complete the act 4 story in order to be able to use my sigils if I already have a bunch of sigils and elder sigils from joining other users in the dark aether?
If someone rushes the ritual for the tool and crystal can I use it to upgrade the items to gold if I have them in my inventory or have I gotta run like a mad man to be the first one there?

U can get the items again if u lose them. I lost 2 of my items this morning trying to upgrade them and I was able to get those back an upgrad them
Putting the gold items in the pedestal glitched on me and would only give two items back for me. Had to go back and get the giraffe too. 3 different times it glitched and took my purple item and never gave the gold one back. This was by far the hardest one yet
What bonus does the atomic hunter give?

I did the journal ritual, but it did not give me the upgraded journal. Only a tier 3 crystal. Did I do something wrong, do I have to stay in the circle the entire time?

Sup guys, just one question, I got the giraffe toy in "union" mission and now I want to get the rest of the stuff but it dont want to give me anything? My dog killed the merc sargeant and I spend 20 min killing zombies in storm but nothing? Please help

Yes, delete the giraffe and start the "Union" mission again. After this everything should work
What conditions do you have to fill for the portal to stay unlocked? Do you just have to open it in a match or do you actually have to go through it? Do you have to survive for the portal to be unlocked for good?
If it's like the others, you just have to place the artifacts on the pedestals and activate it. Don't believe you have to survive.
Damn. I did the thing and opened the rift, disciple spawned a mega, killed it, and he immediately spawned a new one. Fought through the hoard of manglers and mimics while fighting the second mega, The disciple doesn't seem to take damage when the mega is alive, i honestly can't tell if it's a bug or not, but if you have 3 seconds to damage him, I'm gonna need more people to help.
Got all three missions done in the new dark aether no schematic just the arm and foot and brain but lost my elder sigil cause after I finished the escort the gas just killed me instantly and i revived to instantly die again idk why but seems like the game just won't let me have em. Also use the holger 556 backsaw conversion kit thank me later it literally melts everything currently

The only which works is the one under the bed.
Killing the Seargant with the Dog, no Reward Rift is popping up, same for the Stomcaller Zombies, NO Reward Rift popping up. If anyone knows what I´m doing wrong, I would be very thankfull!

Most ppl alredy did it, so it will be no problem for you to get into the Dark Aether with other players in Red Zone

No! Just be sure to exfil with the special items!
The new dark aether would be amazing if the schematics where the fast foot,the exploding head reward an if the beret soldier was able to revive you,,would be worth going back into this dark aether,only dark aether that's worth going back to is the first one to get the armour an blade,lately though I've just been getting dog bones but some nice person swapped me a armour for a legendary tool,great vid btw doughnuts,
Unrelated to this video. last night I spawned into a game at the very edge of the map right above one of those big vault doors. I called in the blood burner and it spawned in inside the vault. I couldn't so anything to to get it but I could hear it. Could be a glitch, but I've played COD long enough to know that they will obvious means something. So maybe we're not too far from being able to go in those vaults.

I've only played like 5 games since getting all items but every time i go in i bring a good kit expecting to go in the aether after doing ritual.And head straight to t3 and buy essential perks with 5k from containment
I havent opened the First 2 Dark Aether portals but wanted to do this Easter egg. But I cannot upgrade the purple items. Anyone know the issue? Do you have to open the previous Rifts first?

HELP - I have the 3 items but for some reason when I go to the small floor triangles there are no things on the walls to shoot. Is there somthing I am missing?

My game broke. I've put the golden items on the pedestals 5 times and the rift just stays glitched. Is invisible and won't let me use sigils. On the plus side it let's me farm PAP3 crystals and legendary tools 😂
i unlocked all items and upgrated them but i can‘t put them onto the the altars, i am not able to interact with it (doesn‘t tell me to push square)
Literally tried this last night with my friends and the symbols would not reappear if someone else beat us to it, not sure if that's an update or a clitch but we tried 3 times and all three, if someone beat us to it we couldn't 😢
So far the triangles have not reset themselves when I've tried to complete this, even after other players have stopped trying. Does it have anything to do with being in a squad?

I have gotten five lots of the stuff you need in the main game as well as the giraffe and I have taken them out with me by way of the tombstone... As long as you don't do the rift for the main quest you can farm the items
The pedestal step glitched for me, but someone was able to pick up all my stuff from the pedestals and they left. Now I have to go get all the items and upgrade them all over again. That sucks
When I completed mine, there was no need to shoot to the runes, I just went to the location and began the summoning. I am wondering if anybody else had a similar experience
I've accepted we can't get access to it. we have all 4 pieces gold and ig won't even let us put them in the stone. doesn't give me the option when i try to put the giraffe in where it needs to be. doesn't give me the option to open it

Not only the contract is easy to find in the New aether but you dont need to the steps awsome
I used the VR-11 and shot a bunch of zombies and mercs near a merc camp and the reward rift with the laptop spawned and as far as I am aware of the VR-11 cannot turn hellhounds into friendly ones unlike brain rot
5:20 sometimes also the megabomb will despawn but the disciple will remain immune to damage. Happened to me and my team.
It only worked for me spawning in all purple items, if you fail you can just go to the makeshift triangle and begin ritual
Do the triangle things actually respawn? I swear they’re never there… 3/4 upgraded objects rn :/
I couldn’t get the last schematic of the sergeant hat after defeating the secret boss because we ran out of time and about to all die
Schematics aren't guaranteed in this dark eather portal, same as in S2. You might run multiple times to get it.

Am I the only one who is having trouble activating the summoning to change the items gold to unlock the new aether? I only have one more to upgrade but the last 5 or 6 times i've tried I can't get the summon button to pop up before I finish and the regular reward opens. I've been ducking and proning all over the arch ledge thing looking for the popup to let me summon the boss.
Now, every time I kill a sergeant with a dog on my team, I get another blue quest item rift
The hardest part of doing this de is no one wants to do it. Every game everyone wants the first de. I want to try this new de but its too hard solo
So the relics to shoot don’t respawn. I’ve sat in tier 3 for 30 minutes waiting for them to respawn after mutiple teams have farmed the triangles.
Can you do the sole box without having the item to upgrade ? Just to get the reward rift not doing the dark eather Easter egg.
It's Any Sergeant on the Map I think my dog killed one in a Stronghold. My issue was I didn't see the Symbols or the large Triangle but I didn't bring in the Giraffe to keep from losing it,
The nerf made it so only the first person to do it per match can try to make their item attuned.
the hardest part is trying to upgrade your items in tier 3.. everyone goes for the secret rewards.. its impossible. im just now getting here and realizing how difficult it is.. ;(

The rituals are not available to upgrade the relics..I've been in 3 matches n there is no symbol you shoot

One thing I learned if you're doing the ritual and you don't perform it right it might take one of the items from you you can just repeat the process to get the purple object and then try it again 🤔🤔🤔

Im hella mad i went in the new dark rift and at the end a mimic threw me into a fence and i couldn't move i had to back out and lost all the good stuff😡😡😡

Just a heads-up that getting the Laptop with stickers works with the Mercenary bodyguard you get with the Sergeant’s Beret if he kills the Sergeant at the camp. Learned this by accident when I had the bodyguard active and no dog haha. Love all your videos and positivity!🤘😎
Anybody still having issues upgrading these items? It seems the activation sites only activate one time in a match and I keep having the issue of after performing a summoning and killing the HVT, I don’t get a reward rift then I have to go and loot the purple item yet again. 🤦🏼♂️

Yeah same! It’s the most elusive one of them all… can I upgrade my science journal if another team/player has already used that specific runes/triangle in the game, before I get to it? Or is it the case that only one science journal can be upgraded per game?

you can do the dog one in any scenario where you fight mercs. let the dog pounce on the sargeant
