9:23 - This church was finished in 1920s, that's why it has one tower in baroque style and other towers in gothic style, it was in construction for like 550 years 🙂 We, as Czechs, are used to see such buildings, so most of people don't even see them, they just look to the ground when they go around, but you will start to see that after you visit more countries and you realize that in other countries, they don't have such things and when they have them, they mostly have them in much worse condition than we have. Yes, most of Czech people visit a Prague castle just few times in their lives, because it's normaly very crowded, there are barriers and long waiting lines and it's also pretty expensive and we know that Czechs are lazy and hate any waiting lines, we are not like people in Portugal where waiting in line is their national sport. 🙂 So for a Czech person, it's much easier and comfortable to visit some places not in Prague where you can just go in and out without any barriers and security checks and very often even for free. Czechs especially like their historical events connected to Luxembourg history (Charles IV etc...) at many of our castles, most of Czechs visit such events at least once in a few years.
The St. Vitus church is an absolute marvel. I can see why it took over 500 years to buld. Luckily this time of year there were no lines to enter tha castle. It's too bad the church was closed at the time I went. Thanks again Ondrej for the great information about Prague. 🏰👌🇨🇿
The more I see the more I like the city. It’s been years since I’ve been there could remember it’s beauty especially the other side is nice less tourists etc. Could you draw a comparison with Spanish cities? What do you like more?
That's hard to compare it to a Spanish city. Because it's quite different in most aspects. I think it simply stands on its own, as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Thanks for the question Marc.
As for the canabis - no, we are not like Amsterdam with the coffee shops. The thing is, some products made from marihuana are legal, but not the "real stuff" with THC (just with prescription). The marihuana shops are selling stuff with HHC or CBD, which is right now legaly grey area. Lawmakers are now trying to catch up with developments in the marijuana market and restrict the sale of these products.
They started to flood into Spain too, the CBD shops. Personally, I don't get it. But the ones in Prague looked like they were offering the real thing. I guess it's to trick the tourists into buying. Thanks for the info.
Thank you so very much for your videos on Prague. I was recently in Prague and found out a couple of things you might want your viewers to know. You can take tram # 22 or #23 up to the castle. Also, if you are over 65 years old trams, buses and the metro are all free. Even if you are from out of country. Just carry your passport or drivers licence with you as proof. Your videos helped me to see the best of Prague, thank you for doing them.

One correction, St. Vitus is a Cathedral not a church :) @@TravelAddictGuy

It has that feeling for sure. You might actually start to question what centruy you're in. It's a must see, if you come to Prague. Thanks Levina. 🏰🇨🇿
@@TravelAddictGuy Thank you too. Have a Great week ahead 👍.
Cannabis with higher amount of THC is not legal here, it is just popular. 🤷♀😅
All of those fake weed shops in the old town, just ripping off tourists.
@@TravelAddictGuy Exactly!
It seems like you was there either too early or too late. Most of the Prague castle (Hradčany) is operating form 9.00 to 17.00.
I think they were closed on the day I went. It was a Monday I think.
Hi kerry, you definately love dungeons and dark passageways, lol. Me too, tbh.....
That was a crazy find, wish I could have gone down in there. A cage and that rack with the skeleton, something sinister happened here.
@@TravelAddictGuy definately, but i think that was normal in the middle age.
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks my friend. 🙏😎
